Happy to help mate. Just make sure as soon as you finish, you start the car and pump the brakes a couple of times. They will be a bit spongy after you reset the caliper.

Thanks Des! No i didn't adjust them. I did get them replaced though at a later date. I didn't have time to do them myself so i just took it to a brake and clutch mob.
Have you ever had to replace the rubber brake hose that attaches to the caliper? I can't figure out how to remove mine. At the other end it screws onto the end of the metal brake pipe, but it looks like the head of the fastener is recessed into a square metal bracket.
Yeah i've removed them before. Where the pipe attaches to the bracket, there's a clip that holds it in. You have to slide that clip out and then the hose will be able to move, put plenty of WD40 on before you start cos they can be mighty tight at times.. I'd also get a set of proper spanners as well or you risk rounding the nut off.
Wonderful way to ruin ABS unit! Never push pistons back forcing brake fluid back to reservoir. Loosen bleed nipple and attach tubing and then to container, push piston back and fluid will empty into container . When piston far enough back, tighten nipple and top up reservoir.
This car doesn't have ABS. So it's not an issue on this one. Good reminder though in case someone attempts this on an ABS vehicle, i'll make a note of it in the video description. Cheers.
Thanks, I have already adjusted it.. There is a hole with rubber cover in the back to adjust the handbrake, so you dont even have to take the wheels off.
@@iBIiss I'm really happy with them hey. They give a nice responsive ride without being too firm. I know some folk find the ride a bit harsh, i honestly don't know what they're talking about. LoL They also take the load pretty good as well.
@@iBIiss Just do your research on exactly which ones you want. I got the linear rate 40mm lift, 250kg constant load. But i have a drawer unit in the back and a big spare tyre. If you don't have much weight in the back you might find it a pretty hard ride.

It could be both. Best thing is to try adding some cable tension and if that doesn't work, then it's probably time for new shoes

Hey is it possible to adjust handbrake without taking the disc off? is there a hole or something in the back to acces the adjuster with screwdriver?
Not sure hey, i haven't had to adjust it from there. I did however try tightening the cable underneath the car.

What brand of rotors did you use?

Isnt it there a handbrake cabel or something? Or we dont worry about that?
