*Note: This feature is available on ALL StreamYard plans, including our free tier. Your Instagram account needs to be a "Professional" account - we show you how to set that up at 0:12.
Thank you Dana I really appreciate this. I was having a hard time trying to go live on Instagram and until I seen your tutorial very well said straight to the point and it was a success. Thank you again.!
great intro to instagram live 🙌 watched a few of your videos now and really love your little studio rooms 💛 looking forward to showing up and conquering the anxiety of that pesky 'Go Live' button staring at me 🤣🧙
Great Video Dana. I was hoping you may create a Video on how to multi-stream on TH-cam and Instagram in detail. This is a must for me to share with both my unique audiences on both platforms. Please HELP!!!
So, you have to click Go Live twice on SY to get the livestream going. After doing so, is there an awkward period while you’re clicking around on IG, starting the stream and muting the tab, all while streaming? Or would you suggest clicking Go Live on SY, clicking around on IG, and then returning to SY for that final click on Go Live?
Hey there! It's definitely a bit clunky right now; we hope this changes soon! Here's a helpful article we wrote to break down the process: support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043298812-How-to-stream-to-Instagram-using-StreamYard - Katie 🦆
Hey there! Unfortunately, it is impossible to see comments inside your StreamYard studio when using Instagram Live. To see comments, you would need to keep the stream window open on Instagram to see them directly there. This is because, to stream to IG currently, you need to use custom RTMP, which doesn't allow the comments to come through to SY. Hopefully, this will change in the future! - Katie 🦆
I trred to do practice mode but i couldn't see it on instagram's end. I was successful with getting to the portrait mode in streamyard. what did i miss?
I tried it a couple of times - I was live on Instagram, Facebook and TH-cam (all at once) but people on Facebook and TH-cam told me the audio was bad (it was breaking up a little). It never happened before. So I had to restart the livestream without Instagram and the audio was fine again. Do you have any ideas why it happened or how I can solve it? 😥
Hey! we have some suggestions for muting in this article to help support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043298812-How-to-stream-to-Instagram-using-StreamYard
Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear that you had an issue on StreamYard. Please contact our 24/7 live tech support at streamyard.com/contact We are happy to help! - Katie 🦆

Whenever you hit go live, there is a few seconds gap in which insta recognizes the broadcast and shows it in preview. So everything you basically say is delayed by few seconds which is not realtime.
Ei! Sim, você pode clicar no ícone CC, depois clicar no ícone de engrenagem, clicar em "Legendas/CC", clicar em "Traduzir automaticamente" e depois clicar em "Português"! - Katie 🦆
This is a great feature. I've just tried it now for the first time ... the stream seems to have a delay of about 10-seconds, which makes it quite confusing to watch or monitor via the Instagram app. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Is it something that I am doing wrong or is this simply the nature of the stream to the app? Would appreciate any feedback.
nope there isnt a fix to it yet, i would recommend letting the viewers know there will be a 10 sec delay to the replies of their comments just so they will not feel like your ignoring them, if they dont comment then have nothing to worry about.
It would be nice to feel as though those of us who pay $25 per month get something a little special. To be honest, It feels like the free plan is basically the same. Maybe throw us a bone once in a while, too. Everything cool goes right to the $50 plan. Come on, guys!
Hey there! We totally hear you--thanks for that feedback. So you know, streaming to IG is available for all plans, not just the Professional plan! - Katie 🦆
Same😥 I have a small channel but when I saw this post from streamyard I got so excited that I can now stream to Instagram as well as TH-cam… I mean I do pay every month for streamyard. It has to be available to me right!? Well not so much I guess😭 OK that’s my rant back to work.
@@StreamYard Thank you for replying I appreciate it! So sharing on Instagram is an option with the $25 plan? That is the one I have. I thought in this video it was said the professional plan which is $50?
Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I tried a few times, following this to the letter, and... it doesn't work. No video shows up on IG... (I have a creator account and you say Creator or Business profiles would be work). No-one else seems to have this issue so what am I missing?
Hi there! I'm so sorry to hear that you had an issue streaming to instagram. Please contact our 24/7 live tech support at streamyard.com/contact We are happy to help! 😊 -Sam 🦆
We recommend either muting that tab or not having it open when streaming, because it will cause an echo. Do you have another device, like an iPad or mobile device where you can view the stream but turn the volume all the way down? - Katie 🦆
Hey there! You can customize your background on StreamYard or even add a virtual background! support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/4411078786836-How-to-Use-Virtual-Backgrounds- - Katie 🦆
Yes! You can use Guest Destinations and it works with the new IG update! support.streamyard.com/hc/en-us/articles/13305572734740-Guest-Destinations- Katie 🦆
Next to no integration tho… comments all in one place and able to be thrown on screen is why they watch TikTok live studio I do the same but screen record… I’ll wait till it’s fully integrated- big hassle in my eyes and could be problematic during the show
It would be nice if we didn't have to take all these extra steps. I mean we don't have to do all this with the other platforms like fb etc. Please fix asap.

can you change to a vertical orientation on StreamYard?
So happy to see this is happening. It's a missing piece for us.
Next stop, TiKToK!🥳
Ugh!
Very cool! Can't wait to try this!
Excellent and awesome news 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I tried it today!🥳
Works great! Congrats!!

Could I perform the live in two different Instagram accounts ?
Thanks for sharing!
love this!
Thank you! We do too!
Hi! Does the screen share feature work when streaming to IG?
Hey there! Yes, you can screen share on desktop, not mobile! - Katie 🦆
Why can't the comments come through from IG? Will this change to prevent having to flip screens during the live?

@@StreamYard ok thanks one more question can the guest do the same thing on their end to broadcast on instagram?

How do you get this to work???
Will this work with prerecorded content?
Hey there! Yes, it does! You will still need to manually start it on IG though. - Katie 🦆
Done the list of Live Stream, 12 videos
i cannot find the stream key
AWESOME...!!
How do you mute the volume from Insta so you don't hear yourself talking when streaming on StreamYard? I'm on desktop.
Hi there! Are you viewing your stream on IG while streaming, so you're hearing an echo? - Katie 🦆
@@StreamYard exactly right. I hear a playback of my own voice in IG

Will we ever be able to go live on Instagram from an iPad? My laptop? My laptop Audio is really bad so I can only stream from my iPad or iPhones.
