0:37 kinda random but I've always thought of this dude for a bit every time I've seen this movie. The dude that goes, "mornin'!" All nice and cheery to Hiccup. To HICCUP. Who is basically the town's resident screw-up at the time. The other vikings we see as Hiccup is running to Gobber's workshop are yelling at him to go inside or to stay out of the way, but THIS guy just says good morning and then is on his way to kill more dragons. Always seemed odd to me.
@@LemonRaptor000 I think it was just a joke to show how vikings act, but I like this observation. Maybe he knows Hiccup better than everyone else because he could be a regular forge customer or something and has properly gotten to know him
@@randomeditzzz05 Kinda wish that was the case. Probably could've added more to the story. Not that the story isn't already amazing, but it could've maybe opened up more possible routes that the story could've gone in?

I think it said that? You'd think there'd be more people who are okay with Hiccup? But maybe they refrained from being nice to him to not get ganged up on by the other vikings. Idk lol I'm tired and just saying this off the top of my head.

The vikings saw dragons like demons, heartless monsters that only sought to kill. Hiccup learned to see them like any other animal, creatures with emotions, habits, likes and dislikes. And that lead to him using his intelligence to his advantage, studying Toothless' behaviour to subdue the dragons in the arena without hurting them.
Hiccup is so painfully relatable 😭
