@@eliakins1350 Exactly I like how the film shows that he’s not angry for no reason and may just need help. I’ve also got autism myself and I feel the same way as you 🫶
@@TrentGaines Yup! Sometimes it gets to a point where I start hating myself as a person. But doing and watching favorite things make me feel happy again. 😌
Fr I relate to him a lot. I’m also autistic and would have people purposely bother me so that I would have meltdowns and then proceeded to make fun of me or get mad at me for my meltdowns. The way they treated him in this movie reminds me of how I was treated and I feel really bad for him.
Everyone accuses Red of having anger issues but honestly I find Red's anger to be completely justified, I mean that bird father at the birthday party was just an utter dick to Red, and the judge is a hypocritical asshole
I recently rewatched this movie for the first time in years, and i didn't realize how genuinely funny it is. The birth control joke gets me every time.
"The assignment was to draw your pain, so I drew YOUR pain." Never in my LIFE would I have ever expected the angry birds movie to make me laugh like that
Like I don't understand how the birds see red as a problem from his everyday personality. He tried his literal best with the cake and as he even mentions, nearly DIED. Yes, he was late, but still on time and even after all this, he was ready to put on a show and smiled for the kid. He was clearly in the right and that was no douche behaviour from his side.
While Inside Out was about the nessessity of sadness, Angry Birds was about the nessesity of anger. If someone steals all your children should you accept that or remain happy like all is fine in the world? Also Red probably knew the scientific name for Pig and knew something was off with them.
Exactly! Maybe that should be the plot for Inside Out 3! If there ever will be one! The first one was about the necessity of sadness. Second one, joy and anxiety. So maybe third one, anger and maybe fear?
1:36 Yeah, how do they wonder why he gets angry so much? They literally bullied him, and only after he was proven to be right about something did they finally listen!
1:56 The judge wasnt even focusing on the task at hand because the parents were like “We WaNtEd OuR sOn To SeE Us WhEn BoRn” and then the judge is like “Red your sad and alone, and we don’t like you”
Not to mention, they had their unborn child OUTSIDE. If they cared that much, they would have -I’m assuming- gone against societal norms and put the egg and nest inside where it’s safe. Sure, the birds on their island may be “safe”, but what about the weather? Or animals?
On a side note, the fact that we never found out what happened that got Terence placed in Anger Management Class was arguably the best joke in the movie. It's left up entirely to our imagination and I love it because of that.
Honestly I felt bad for Red everyone was an ahole in this movie and literally hypocrites too (except for Chuck, Bomb and Mighty Eagle) if I were Red and the mayor asked me “what are we going to do?” I would have sang “that’s just not my problem” lol
@@SerialDesignationaN Haha that’s so true he’d pull a bully maguire “I missed the part where that’s my problem 😐” For real tho Red had been bullied by everyone his whole life and when he finally retaliated they labelled him as an outsider with anger issues. I’m glad Chuck and Bomb became solid friends with him
Everyone in the class was too something for society. Chuck was too energetic, Bomb was too explosive, Red was too angry, and Terence was too...dangerous.
So true 💀 I always thought the dad was being a huge asshole at the start of Angry Birds movie, he hired a clown despite his baby being terrified of them, and then gaslit Red accusing him of being late and missing the party despite him being perfectly on time. I probably would have flipped too, maybe not as smoothly as Red did though 😅
Honestly, Red has it the worst. He's stuck on an island full of people he does not like. Got bullied as a child for simply being different. Works lousy jobs and forced to do things he hated. He lives isolated away from society. Finally, the one person he looks up to is a lazy slob. Poor Red, if we had the Mighty Eagle from the games, the movie would be done in less than 15 minutes, honestly.
Red was a real one to be honest. He could have just said "nah fuck yall I am gonna rebuild my house. Get your own eggs dipshits." But no, he legit went out of his way and literally almost DIED TO SAVE THE TRIPLETS
Bro, I was OBSESSED with this movie when it came out! I watched it on loop so many times! And yeah, looking back at it now, Red was way more patient than the film makes it look like.
Honestly even as a kid I understood Red’s anger. I mean people ostracized him and were genuinely terrible to him to the point that when he was saying how they were in danger they didn’t do anything. They frustrated me sooo much
This is why I love him. I know him from the game when I was little and played some games of it. But when I grew up, I realized I'm like him in reality. He's GOAT! ❤ P. S. I'm so glad someone made video like this!
@@katefinky4783 Thank you 😊 Me too I always thought that the other character’s reactions to Red were so dramatic since many of them were even angrier than him. He just rightfully set boundaries and only clapped back if it was warranted
One thing that always bugged me about this movie after getting older is that the film paints Red as the bad guy when he’s truthful the most “sain” and logically person in the movie.
gods the “let’s get busy” scene gives me flashbacks to when i saw that movie for my 14th birthday and my friend SCREAMED that line like half an hour after it happened
I can't believe no one is talking about how the father in the opening scene says Red is late despite having told him to come "before noon", which is exactly what he did. Anyone with common sense would assume "before noon" means the party starts at noon, not that the party ends at noon.
@@randomeditzzz05 Oh it wasn't that no one liked him for moving to the beach, it's that no one cared to convince him to do otherwise because they wanted him gone.
Bruh, when I first watched this movie I legit was like "okay, Red is definitely in the right for most of these and they're all so damn irritatingly high up on their ignorance. Am I supposed to feel bad when crap hits the fan?"
What I understood when I first saw this movie: it’s not that he’s an angry dude, it’s that he was LITERALLY BOTTLING UP HIS EMOTIONS UNTIL THEY EXPLODED. He tried to be patient, but when you’re literally regularly shoved to a breaking point all the time, you’re gonna flip.
6:37 judging from the scenes they were probably screaming for an entire day, and the only reaction Red had was "Stop Making Mighty Eagle Noises!", Shows how much of a patient bird he is
this type of editing style where one moment cuts to another random clip that relates even the slightest way is EXACTLY the form of inner commentary thats CONSTANTLY happening inside my adhd brain! 😅
What really pissed me off is that the bird said “be here before noon” and he LITERALLY WAS THERE BEFORE NOON! Sure it was like a minute before, but they should have given him a specific time.
One scene you should have included is where the second ship full of pigs arrives Red makes very legitimately valid reasons to be suspicious of the pigs throughout the entire movie up until their true intentions are revealed, but nobody believes him simply because of his “anger issues” Also, 3:45 is hilarious
DUDE! I'm literally him! I'm autistic so there's always me having a tantrum or meltdowns and also how he's generally acting patient, (I have NO patience) but everyone else around him is being annoying. If you saw a scene where he was little kids were making fun of him because of his eyebrows. To be honest this a reference and also theory why he acts like this
Red is a really relatable character outside of being a fricken talking bird. We've all had to deal with dickheads pissing us off then telling us we're the problem. Also this movie was so fking funny, I adore it 😂
Can you do a edit of Branch from trolls? Half the time, branch just feels so relatable half the movie. Branch was also my favorite character from that movie just because of his sarcasm and ect.
When thinking of him a certain phrase comes to mind, “in an insane world, it is sane who is called crazy” and it fits him perfectly. He is an introvert who MAY have minor hapophobia in a town filled with the most ignorant extroverts to exist, and in reality only lost his temper a few times when everyone in his anger management class, including the teacher, have worse anger problems, he is a normal guy with minor anger problems.

Red has always been my favorite too because as someone who is autistic, I get really angry and have meltdowns sometimes. But Red always makes me feel like I'm not alone. Can't wait for the 3rd movie! 👀

Or animals?
3:49 that's likely the reason Terrance is even in anger management classes.
On a side note, the fact that we never found out what happened that got Terence placed in Anger Management Class was arguably the best joke in the movie. It's left up entirely to our imagination and I love it because of that.
