I remember the first 'hate' comment I got, it was a bluntly worded one about my character's neck being too thin. I reacted quite badly to it; though I didn't cuss them out or anything, just got defensive lol. Every now and again I look back on my old art, and now when I see that drawing all I can think every time is just 'damn they were so right, what the hell is that neck'
i think people have a rigth to expect basic human decency from other human beings, someone who's a dickbag is considered a dickbag because they go out of their way to be nasty. I mean i don't go around telling people I think their art sucks, its loser behavior, only losers without hobbies do that. thats my comment before watching the rest of the video thats just my awnser to some of the questions before the video starts. I dont expect ppl to like kiss the ground i walk or anything, I think most artists have over inflated egos, but people on the internet are stupid lowlifes loool. You and everyone else should be logging off more frequently.
This is so real and something people need to hear, its why its so important to work on yourself first and respect your own work, values, and personality. All this comes before posting online. People cannot fill the void inside of you. Great video as always Zuri :) i love your art too it's very inspiring ❤️
oo pretty art spotted, drawing over irl photography with a character is underrated tbh, also i agree with the video, people randomly hating on other's art is so weird and also might be a "trend" nowadays due to 90% of those comments being the same thing over and over (also! let's all normalize using the block button for weird/hate comments rahh)
I hope to see more people work on their mental health first instead of posting to fill some form of void in their soul, could be projection but I definitely did, It really pays off, learning to not care and none of it matters in the grand scheme of things has been amazing not going to lie.
