He says he's not doing it for the money or to spite fans (all though at times it looks like he wants both as well) rather to get at the BBC.

@@fredh1720 Stef Antony Colburn, son of Antony Colburn who helped write the first episodes of Doctor Who, is not letting the BBC have the rights to the first serial so it will not be going up on BBC iPlayer as was originally promised by the BBC.
