I might've not chosen it in the past vs the Electra Glide Standard & the Heritage, but that doesn't mean it not a better bike........ or isn't it!?

Had a 2001 Road King Classic in Real Teal paint. Most beautiful bike I’ve ever owned. Ended up selling it to buy my way out of a bad marriage. When it comes to getting by to why I started riding motorcycles 40+ years ago that bike will always be the king to me. I love my full dress FLHTK but I will be adding another Road King to my garage in the near future.

I’am from Holland and drive a RKSE ‘08. With Big Sucker, Monster Ovals it has 95 Horsepower/160Nm at tje reartire (on the Dynojet) and is very quick. I do sprints with Tesla’s and Muscle Cars at the traffic lights💪🏽. What a machine!! I love it😇
love the new camera. Very good and practical review of the RK. I have an option on a 2017 Road king classic with about 15000 miles. Currently on a 2017 Fatboy stage 1 so 50/50 on the RKC...
I turned my Electra Glide into a Road King. Absolutely love it.

Try riding one of the new Road King specials with the 114 in it they are a lot of fun and the 114 is a torque monster I love mine I've got to I've got a Road King special 2021 I love it and the 114 is a bad bad boy when it comes to torque

Got a 2016 RK put 64k on it to date runs smooth.
I've got Nitron shocks on my 2018 RK, and a Stage 2. My bike is pretty good on The Dragon, better than before. For some reason, when I took the windshield off, my ride got more aggressive.

Im buying a Road King. I really want chrome finish but I really like the new Special too. Im thinking about getting the Special and doing something Blasphemous and adding chrome finishes to the blacked out bike. Im thinking chrome and black heated empire grips, chrome empire timing cover, full SE chrome exhaust, chrome empire derby cover, chrome Ignition cover, chrome SE heavy breather and just a chrome extended headlight ring. Still retain alot of the blacked out elements but with a nice contrast of chrome. If it's done right it can look really good but it's a fine line between right and wrong on this so I gotta really put some thought into it to make sure it's the right blend. Do you think I can pull it off? Any ideas?? Maybe Chrome rocker boxes or is that possibly too much?

Really want one. Is my dream bike. Worried though about upgrading from my 02 VStar 650 (550 lbs) to a 2020 King.
Most HD dealerships let you test ride their bikes if you have an endorsement on your license, I would highly recommend test riding one. Once you ride you'll realize that it is well balanced and because of it it doesn't fell as heavy as it is. I hope you get a chance to ride one soon! cheers!

I have a 2017 Road King and the bike I had before that was the 2008 1200 low.
Fun bike but nothing like my Road King.
I would never have believed the Road King weighed roughly 300 pounds more than my 12 low until I weighed it.
The Road King is so well balanced and in my opinion handles and maneuvers so much nicer than the 12 low.
No wonder law enforcement uses the Road King.
I have found the Road King to be so much more fun than my 12 low ever was.
