Thank God he is okay. Thank you to all involved in his rescue. My heart was beating like crazy watching it on line, I can't imagine watching it in person.
Silver back seemed very curious. Probably never seen a dog. As long as the dog wasn't barking or growling aggressively the gorillas didn't seem threatened. But their sheer strength alone would make play dangerous for poochie.
I bet the dog would have cowered and rolled over if the silver back caught it or got real close to it. Maybe the silver back would not have hurt the dog. Glad we didn't find out.
Aw, that was so fast. What a hero of SD Zoo Safari Park staff. Things could get worse if dogs were not to be rescued. That was what I was gonna say about this incident.
Just read the story on MSN so felt compelled to see if there was any footage on TH-cam. If he's not a stray let's hope the owner and dog are reunited. He's a beautiful boy so It's little surprising many have come forward to offer him a home. I would in a heartbeat.
I am retired US Navy. I was stationed on Guam for a while. I have had many dogs in my life. The only place I didn't have one was Adak Alaska. I even took a dog to Guam. Judy USN20
@@4NickAder At least this dog he wouldnt get because the dog kept his distance. i once had a chow chow, and she was not scared for nothing, but never kept distance between possible danger. A big mechelse herder, a verry big cat So she probably would shit in front of the big Monkey, but still i doubt if the monkey would get the dog.
"adoption waiting list" so good to hear. I have a 9 month old shepherd/husky mix and she can run like the wind. She can change directions in a micro second and jump to another position very quickly. Id be horrified if she found herself in this situation but I believe she would put up quite a chase. She wouldn't challenge them or growl at them but just keep her distance. Plus she is tireless. I'd like to believe she would be rescued.
the dogs weight is fine, people get so worried about seeing a little ribs, jesus. the public are far too habituated seeing obese dogs that ribs are terrifying, its not. its nomal.
Legit, I read an article about this first and did know that the dog was fine, but I am still stressed and in tears. And yes like any others I was yelling at the screen lol
Gorillas can run much much faster than that. Where the dog ran to, if the Gorilla went nuts, the Gorilla could of gotten the dog. The Gorilla was more curious than anything, like: "Wut....wut is that?!" Very lucky indeed! Thank Goodness the dog is alright.
The observers were making way too much noise. The gorillas could probably pick up on the tension and the ruckus surely didn't help in keeping the gorillas calm. If people wanted to help they should've stayed calm. It was a good decision that the zoo staff kicked all of them out.
Gorillas are actually very gentle creatures. Of course if they feel threaten they will defend themselves. If they wanted to hurt the dog they would have, but most likely they were curious.
Beautiful dog hopefully they find him and the other 2 dogs forever homes. I hope the safari park reinforces thier enclosures so the dogs can't get in again.
Thank God! Poor baby! I'm glad all is well 🙏🏼🐾😇
YES 👍
Omg so right ( in Karens voice ) boy dogs stay home they don't go places . Next time learn your lesson
Thank God he is okay. Thank you to all involved in his rescue. My heart was beating like crazy watching it on line, I can't imagine watching it in person.
If the dog knew how to get in then the zoo needs to reassess the enclosure, what can get in can get out.
Hope he finds a forever home 💜
With plenty outdoor space to run & an owner who enjoys outdoor activities
Yeah
In heaven next time
His owner came forward!
The doggy was like "I'm having fun playing with hairy human!"
Exactly

It was literally chasing the dog, and a lot of zoos allow dogs in, they know the concept of a dog.
@@TuberoseKisser Dang, why do you sound so freaking angry? :-(

People don't understand if he wanted to kill the dog he would have. The dog just threw off his calculations.

He was reunited with his owner 😊
Zoo staff did so well.
Beautiful dog. Seems very nice. I want to pet him. Funny how seeing a dog makes us feel better almost instantly.
SAN DIEGO HUMANE SOCIETY IS THE BEST !!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH MY HEROS💖

I'm retired Navy too and Guam was my first duty station. Beautiful island.
People underestimate the dog, gorilla would never get the dog.
you only waste time chasing a dog once
or herding cats

My shepherd would’ve been fighting for food lol. They’re so spunky.

Cutest and bravest doggo. 😭🤩 Half the country wants to adopt him. Lol
Ooo just between animals, dog had fun, Dog smiled whole time
You seen the tail?
The gorilla looked like he was just curious. The dog is so pretty, he will get adopted right away!
it woulda snapped its neck than god the pup swerved and didn't stop to check out of curiosity. but that's one cute puppy.
How does a gorilla look curious when he's running full speed lol
@@mogdor It was a short clip, couldn’t watch the whole thing? At first he was just kinda standing and watching. I hope that answers your question.
@@symptomoftheuniverse4149 I did watch the whole thing. I saw him chasing the dog and the dog got away. Is there a part 2 that I missed?
@@mogdor Do you have any friends?
Anyone else thinking that if a fog can get it in, the gorillas can get out? 🦍➡❔
Yes, that was my first thought.
Your misspelling triggered my imagination ! Dog or fog gave me a laugh!
He’s so lucky he’s alive!
Really? Gorillas can be very gentle, I think the energy of the dog, was dictating the gorilla’s response.
What a sweet boy. So happy he's safe. I would name him Tarzan since he was among the apes.
He's an over night celebrity. He'll have a long list of people wanting to adopt him. What a cutie.
The gorillas were just curious and probably wanted to help the dog
I don't think so
I love animals but wouldn't assume they will think or act the way I'd like them to. That's naive.
Obviously he's a stray dog.
You can see his ribs.
Poor baby.
the dogs weight is fine, people get so worried about seeing a little ribs, jesus.
the public are far too habituated seeing obese dogs that ribs are terrifying, its not. its nomal.
He could be a runaway lost dog but his a survivor and gorilla wanted to play
Yipeeee 🎉🎉🎉 I am thrilled to see the little Angel 🖤🐕🖤
Alive, you mean?
Beautiful young dog!
Rumor has it, Dog’s name is Jack Hanna… was not an accident he was in that enclosure; it was all for educational purposes.
Hahahaha Hahahaha Hahahaha 😆
the gorilla would have stroked out way before it got within 15 feet of the dog
have you ever chased a dog
Name him 'Lucky'.
How tf did this even happen?
He has such a pleasant and inquisitive demeanour. He'll be rehomed successfully if no one comes forward to claim him
Looks like the only victims were the guests that were “literally kicked out” lol
I'm sure this has been asked but how did the dog get in? If a dog can get in, a Gorilla can get out. Is the Humane society investigating that?
It’s hilarious now that he didn’t get hurt
What a gorgeous dog!! I want hiiiiim 🥰
Those apes are going to need YEARS of therapy.
Yea I hope the park employee gets him that would be a great story for how they met
Happy everyone ended up safe. If my dog got lost I'd hope that animal control lady is the one who finds him. She's amazing.
How did the gorilla get into the dog enclosure?
First of all, the Gorilla lives there. The dog was a trespasser.
Name the dog Tarzan
When she just matter of factly threw out the getting chased by a gorilla part I momentarily lost lung function 🤣
I am glad the dog survived as well as the gorilla. I hope someone will claim or adopt this cute dog.
Julianna, everyone wants to adopt the pup. he is too cute .
And how did the dog get inside the enclosure?
God bless the person who caught ip to this silly lil guy
Legit, I read an article about this first and did know that the dog was fine, but I am still stressed and in tears. And yes like any others I was yelling at the screen lol
Praying for the dog 🐕 🙏 and the gorillas...
Why? They are not christians for sure.
The zoo staff really saved his life with the steps they took. I hope he finds a great forever home, looks a bit on the thin side.
How did he get in?
So glad people are looking to adopt him
If by this time no one has claimed him its best to get him to a good home
"monkeying around". That's just lazy writing.
Huge groan
What are the gorillas names
Gorillas can run much much faster than that. Where the dog ran to, if the Gorilla went nuts, the Gorilla could of gotten the dog.
The Gorilla was more curious than anything, like: "Wut....wut is that?!"

He was too fat to run fast

Did someone adopt this beautiful baby
He is in a shelter and they are waiting for the owner to come forward. If no one claims him he will be adopted.
lol-dog thinking those guys look like fun

They meant well but yeah lol if it was my dog he would have been terrified of the people yelling at him
Ok, but you were not there, it was intense, sometimes it is involuntary. Kicked them out? Or asked to leave?
If I would have looked closer at your photo, I would not have been surprised by your ‘Karen response!🙄
Gorillas are actually very gentle creatures. Of course if they feel threaten they will defend themselves. If they wanted to hurt the dog they would have, but most likely they were curious.
I can see that poor dog's ribs. He needs to eat.
Thank God
That goofy fella almost got smashed. Adorable 😘
I love gorillas and I absolutely love doggies.
The gorillas look to be Frank and Monroe.
How the hell did you let your dog get into the enclosure?!
Well I guess if the owner see’s this they will definitely know where he is 👍🏻😊
Beautiful dog hopefully they find him and the other 2 dogs forever homes. I hope the safari park reinforces thier enclosures so the dogs can't get in again.
The gorilla wasn't doing anything, he was just chasing him a little.
Remember when Inside Edition called him a German Shepherd 🤣
All's well that ends well
Think gorilla was just curious rather than what everybody thinks the worst, how did dog get into the enclosure in the first place?
Glad your okay doggie .
You were in danger .
Gorilla is ape, not monkey.
There was no "monkeying around". The gorilla is an ape not a monkey.
I think they were just trying to be funny
Over sensationalize much? Both the dog and gorilla's looked like they were having fun.
Update: He was reunited with his owner!! Why was he wandering free, though? 🤔 His owner better take better care of him!! He could have died 😱😱😱💔😭
