Ale Fusi so at $50 per KG and $0.10 per hour of printing and $140 other stuff would mean about $500 to make, so how much do you think you could sell this for?
I just started printing my Transmission, waiting for some of the nuts and bolts to arrive. You video is BY FAR the best example I've seen on how to assemble the Transmission. Thanks,
That is beautiful. I just printed the transmission to give to my dad and this has inspired me to do the whole powertrain for him. Great job. Beautiful print.
I saw a picture of this years ago on pintrest, and even found one of your videos back then. Fast forward to now, I have a 3d printer and whats the First Large Project I undertake? This of course. I have most of transfer case and transmission cases printed. I cant wait to put it all together. Any chance you can model the propane and turbo parts for me. I will link a video in my next comment.
@@AleFusi you should try it. Put stepper motors to move the shifter. Electronically controlled valves to push the pistons which have gaskets so that the air could push them. You should also somehow find get a clutch
Potresti pensare di ristampare le parti case in pla trasparente così da intravedere il movimento delle parti interne e con l'aggiunta di qualche led sarebbe un soppramobile spettacolare ;)
Really impresive, nice job! How much weight the whole model? PLA is about 15 euros per kilo, so it must be quite expensive right? I'm thinking about doing something similar
Ale Fusi effettivamente quanto è conplicato l'assemblaggio?
Hello, what a good day, I am new to this for a short-term project, the prototype is very good, I am interested in building my own, would you help me, with the datasheets to implement one, that means. Each gear has to form a similar one. Many thanks.
This is absolutely stunning, well done!
:)
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!!! oh and nerdgasm is alright I guess ;)
how much does this weight? would love to sell stuff like this!
+The Reeper
about 6/7 kg

This is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen 3D printed! Really well done!!!
That is beautiful. I just printed the transmission to give to my dad and this has inspired me to do the whole powertrain for him.
Great job. Beautiful print.
This is awesome! I want to print one!! Great work, it reminds me of my high school days working on my 87 4runner.
This is amazing! Mechanically functional engine, gearbox, and transfer case! I want!
The world is not the same! I can see the future, thanks a lot.
Am I the only one that looks at this and says it's time to give my sons fisher price jeep a A new rear transmission
I love that there’s a transfer case for 4 wheel drive
Awesome build. I noticed the fan is moving the wrong direction if it even mattered lol
this is the coolest thing on the internet
This man can 3D print an engine, a transmission and a transfer case but not a camera stand lol
Great Video Though!
Absolutely amazing video. These kind of videos make up for all the other random trash on TH-cam.
Excellent are you the original maker of the file on Thingiverse?
Coolest thing I have seen in a long time!
2:21 it even grinds. Take my money
Amazing job..that grind at 2:21 made me a little sad though :(
Needs a clutch
@@maxdavies9958 no gonna happen unless you somehow find high friction pad
@@beefybread5769 tbh it doesn't have to be high Brixton you could use gear like surfaces it's not carrying any load sl it would be ok
damn!! nice work!
It‘s a piece of art
Your using a Arduino to power it, absolutely amazing. I love it
yes, for driving the stepper motor
Veramente bello! Mi potresti dire dove hai comprato il materiale non stampato?
have you considered producing a bunch for selling?

Did you design this all yourself? If so that is really amazing!!
And what printer do you have?
Squidysquid 1
i have a Delta 3d printer home Made!!!
that is art .... wonderfull !
When you put the head back on at 4:03 how do you know it was in time?
in this case I do not know because I put it back at random, and the valves probably hit the head, but I have references to put it right
@@AleFusihaha I'm just messing with ya. Was gonna say good thing it's not an interference engine :p the detail of this is amazing though. Much love
Why did you start this with it in gear?
Cool! All it needs is some functional clutch =D
Incredible work !!!!!
WAIT!? When you put the head back on... what about the valve timing? wouldn't it be different?
What springs did you use for valves?
How do you get 1-2 and 3-4 to not drag each other with them?
Amazing effort.
Where can I get STL for gearbox is great
Its even 4wd.
Hi can you give please tell me how do you link the motor with the transmission?
OMG, your the 3D printing GOD man. Nice large build. How many man hours have you spent on that project so far?
180 hours without ensambling
зачёт, засмотрелся. отличная работа
You should build the 22ret. It should be easy you only need to make a manifold, turbo, and intake piping.
Super, gefält mir sehr.
Wo kann man den die Teile oder Daten bekommen ?
Great, I like it a lot.
Where can I get the parts or data?
how you conected transmission and engine?
So... If it's fully functional... Is it still drawing in air and pushing it out? like the manifolds aren't solid right?
How much did all the filament bearings screws etc cost
labor of love I wish I had the time to make something like that.
Do you model these yourself? Or do you find the models somewhere?
i have find in the web
What was the total cost in USD?
Awesome! Can you please give me the link with te 3D model? Thank you so much!
What is the 3D priinter that you are using !
It's a dream, simple amazing nice job
I want one :-(
Thanks
What's the rear shifter for exactly?
This is fantastic. Do you think there's a market for something like this? I mean print copies for people and charge them money to buy them?
Grande @Ale!!!
very nice i owned a 84 celica GT and several pick up trucks my dad's favorite. where can i get 1 of those models
wow wow wow. Amazing, great job
we make the drivetrains for these engines. printed one already, hope the scale is the same as the engine :D
AMAZING!
Hey, so ive been working on mine fir a while now but im unsure if where to buy the valve springs can you lead me in the right direction?
Che spettacolo
if you don't mind me asking, what printer are you using? Seems to have very good quality outputs.
I took six months to build it ... i use a Delta home made ... in my channel there is a video with features of my printer
How many kilograms of plastic have you used please? Great work
Tommy ELKOUMY
there are about 7 spool of plastic..
400mt/spool
about 2.8km
GENIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not easy with one hand haha x)
Printing this now, well trying it out. Had to downscale to 70% percent. So we will see
What if you hooked it up to a compressor?
Geirlodnir
a compressor for? to move the engine?
yeah... like high speed movement... maybe even putting that transmission into a mini car....

how to assemble the transmission ??
My son just got a job at a transmission shop. How can I go about getting one of these?
You 3d print one.
Where from buy it ?
2:21 if you can't find 'em ... grind 'em!
:P
amazing! can you give me the file of that engine? or
file size details ?
vu viet you can fin the full Project on thingiverse
Where can I get that fit to buy
Impressive.

2:22 grinding gears lmao
van you give fichier document for download
The only thing it needs, it some oil, vegetable oil even, something to lubricate it even a little bit it’d run so much easier
awesome!
