what is sad is things like this won't happen again. land to be had dirt cheap. virgin Forrest . labor in many industries very low pay. coal as one. Ford Paid goo's but people forget the loggers miners etc. and now that every country makes cars. this will never happen again in our lifetime. but absolutely amazing in its day!
It takes a lot of work searching through the Library of Congress to find them. Almost all of them are only portions of the whole and are not even in any order, so it also requires time to sort and put them together for one film. Thanks for watching!
A million sales for 1935? Well, that was only a pipe dream as sales reached 820,000 units (1935 Ford Model 48). There were likely three reasons why sales came up short of that goal... the Great Depression, Henry Ford's slow progress on meaningful engineering advances, and Plymouth. Plymouth had another record sales year with 328,000 units of their 1935 model. In 1936 there was even more bad news for Ford... Ford sales slumped, Chevrolet sales surged such that it became the number one car (until tying in sales with Ford in 1957 and 1959), and Plymouth with another record sales year. Did that bad news change Henry? Not really.
Sad Indeed... I owned a 2010 Ford focus SES and a Bear Bones 1999 Ford ranger and they were Frikken awsume Vehicles I swear driving the 1999 ranger felt like I was driving a Ford model A pickup or near it.
All before NAFTA....I always thought Ford was a better car of the big three until 1955 Chevy smallblock came around.... Ford never really recovered from the introduction of the smallblock...

Too bad Ford has become a DEI, woke, electric car company. Henry Ford would be rolling in his grave.
