Awesone video, im thinking of buying a DPMS this week. I wanted to paint it coyote brown so this video is really helpful!

Guys i've took the Valve apart and holy shit you can hop up the power big time but you will have to enlarge the Co2 ports.
use a bigger tube inside the Valve 600/700/ maybe 800 Fps. 650 fps out of the Bushmaster or the AP4 would be worth it
I have to go buy a Dremmel and some cutting bits and drill bits and start working.
Yes indeed, lots options here, especially you have the range to push it to the limits xD.
Considering the fps you are able to attain, go check out rumblecanada (if you haven't already) you will most likely need to reinforce the internals in the same way he did to support the increased energy.
Have you notice the Safety Selector detent spring being bigger than most detent holes in standard AR grips like the magpul moe? I notice i had to drill a bigger hole for the spring to move freely.
Also, 26:15 is a brass deflector. Its not “non functional” it doesnt move on real rifles either. Its to deflect the brass from hitting your face, especially when shooting lefty.
The only grip I enlarged the spring hole for was the first ergo grip i installed, pretty sure it was just excess material from the molding. All the others I had no issues with, even the magpul. It is very possible the sizes are so close that just a hair one way or the other makes the fit a bit tight.
Totally agree about the spent cartridge deflector, it not non functional.. it just serves no purpose on an airgun hehe xD
What is diameter of the inner barrel ? I’m thinking of replacing it with longer air soft gbb barrel . If it’s possible
OD is 5.97 mm ..ish. you would need to find a 4.5 mm bb barrel though, the tinkering needed to make this run airsoft would just be insane.
Where can i buy spare parts? I believe my muzzle shim for my A4-P was never in the air gun to begin with
Im afraid crosman only sells a handfull of parts and they are usually out of stock. And i hate to be a bummer but the inner barrel would rattle and fall out the front if the muzzle shim was missing. You would have noticed right off the bat.
What problems were you having? And did you doublecheck with good lighting inside the muzzle brake? Sometimes it can stay wedged on the tip of the barrel too, so it might fall off while you are not looking.
Can you change the grips on these?
Yes indeed, I even have a video for it, it's pretty straightforward. They are 99%mil spec, just minor tinkering required.
Will an A4P fire without the buffer tube or can it be removed all together?
Also, can I take the stock off of my DPMS SBR and put it on one of my Crossman A4P? I am familiar with the laws on doing that to my real guns, but since ATF&E doesn't have jurisdiction over airguns like these and they look very inner-changable and I am going for a specific look.

All the crosman ARs need the buffer tube, the magazine requires the impact from the bcg and buffer springs to let out the co2.
I have a video for converting the dpms stock into a more traditional stock , depends what you are going for. If you want to keep the look of the dpms stock you could technically put your a4-p upper on your dpms lower and only difference will be the markings on the magwell but you will technically have an a4-p with a dpms stock.

I have the buffer spring retainer stuck in the tube and it will not budge.
Any suggestions on a fix or is the rifle done and now spare parts?
I think I asked you for a bit of clarification in the lower breakdown, the retaining spring is captured by the fcg, it just doesn't pop up?

The thread on the crosman is 14mm ccw. Is that what you are looking for? Or you just literally can't find one online? hehe
