    The termignoni exhaust sounds amazing 👌 I just did the A&R race baffle kit on my 13 848 EVO and for a little over a hundred bucks I couldn’t be happier. Thanks for another great how to video

    Thanks a lot, your videos helped me a lot on decision to purchase 848 EVO and also maintain it. :)

    I have termi slipon. But do I need a race ECU as well? Did you notice any difference? What does therace ECU do that the stock ECU doesnt do? Regards! I have a 848 evo.

      You don’t need the race ecu to run the slip on. The other ecu I have is properly tuned for the exhaust and intake I have.

    Sick man I've got the same bike and full exhaust on my 848

    If you don’t have the air filter (high flow) you don’t ‘need’ the race ECU. The stock on is fine since you just changed out the silencers and cat is still in the bike.

    Did the exhaust come with a db killer? If it did, did you remove it?

      Yes, it did. And yes, I removed it.

    Thanks to this video I plucked the courage do swap out my stock ecu for the DP ecu which has been in my garage for weeks. Luckily I saw the comment that the battery needs to be disconnected first, just took it around the block and wow! The difference is day and night. Thanks for uploading, do you still own your 848 or have you just stopped posting videos of it?

    • @kingspencer7
      @kingspencer7  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris J bike is running great. Haven’t installed the ecu since it requires a TPS reset and I’ve barely ridden the thing in the last 2 years. So no point throwing the money at it really.

    Nice to see a Ducati superbike owner change their stock exhaust. I get heart burn when i see someone riding one with the stock exhaust. One of the best things is that V-twin rumble and thunder coming from the exhaust. 996/998/999/1098/848/1198 need termis, arrow, or akra. The rest of the offerings are not very good.
    Sorry to hear about your fleabay experience unfortunately there are a lot of shady people in the parts section. Great video ... Thank you

    Awesome video man! I just picked up a 2010 Ducati 848 Stealth. I had a question though. My bike runs fine at times and then randomly it will just stall on me at idle. The previous owner put a set of Graves exhaust slip ons on the bike and I think it is running too lean now. I heard that the issue is due to the ECU. What do you think needs done? Flash the ECU or replace it? Thanks, great bike!

    • @kingspencer7
      @kingspencer7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anthony to be honest, I’m not totally sure. I’ve been running the exhaust on my bike with the stock ecu this whole season. I sent out the spare ecu (that came with the exhaust) to get flashed since it was for an 1198. I still have it sitting on my desk. But my bike runs totally fine with the termi’s and stock ecu. So it might be a different issue.
      Your bike has a stock ecu?

    • @AntSirico
      @AntSirico 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Im assuming the ECU is stock. I have looked up the issue online and everyone is saying that I just need to get the stock ECU remapped to adjust the fuel intake with the slip ons. I really hope its nothing more serious, I just bought the bike and have yet to take it to the service center to be fully inspected.

    • @kingspencer7
      @kingspencer7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Anthony I know when you get the flashed ecu installed you have to have the TPS reset to help with idling. So maybe with the red lash and TPS reset, it’ll fix your issue?

    • @AntSirico
      @AntSirico 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh man I didnt know you had to reset the TPS, good looks, hopefully by doing these two things I will get my bike running as good as yours! Thanks

    You can reflash the ECU, they tell you that because its just like rooting an android phone, manufacturers don't recommend it, doesnt mean it can't be done. Regardless, good video and appreciate the heads up.

    What’s up man thanks for the ur video it was very helpful and informative. One question did you get a new ECU for the bike? Or did you leave the stock ECU on ur 848. I’m asking because I’m not sure if I should just buy the slip-ons and ride like that or try to get an ECU. I appreciate 🤘🏼🤙🏽

    • @kingspencer7
      @kingspencer7  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chris J I am running the stock tune right now. I have a “race tuned” ecu but I need to take it in to Ducati to have them adjust the TPS when I install it

    I have termi slip ons on my 848 but I don’t think the guy tuned it since it backfires a lot and spits small flames do you know if it’s really bad to have the slip ons without a tune

    • @kingspencer7
      @kingspencer7  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jlove I am not positive. I cannot imagine it’s too bad for the bike since you still have mufflers on the bike. I think it would be a different story if you had no mufflers and ran that. But again, I am not certain on this.
