Awesome Song.
This Is Only A Fan Video All Rights Reserved To Nicko McBrain, Dave Murray, Iron Maiden, EMI Records And His Respective Owners.
As a lifelong Maiden fan, I just discovered this gem today. It's a good day.
Dave is such a great guitar player. A very underrated guitarist. Up the irons!
True, but I always prefer Adrian's parts to his in Iron Maiden.
Who said Davey is underrated? Maybe on the writing credits but not under musicians opinion!
His guitar sound is awesome here ! Great to hear Dave Murray alone on the guitar !
I was there!.... great day out!
Prove it
Jammy bugger! 🙂
That’s a badass jam.
I remember watching this on ITV's 'Raw Power' back in 1991 or so. So cool.
I think a brass section with a rock band is like whipped cream on strawberries: not strictly necessary but it sure livens things up.
Dave is a great guy you would never think he was a heavy metal super star 😈🇬🇧😈🇬🇧
I've been calling myself a Maiden fan since 1982, and this is the first time I hear this song...shame on me!😉🤘🎸🎶
It's a good song, better late than never
Me too crazy inst it 🤘
The arrangement is stellar, really. Suits perfectly the main riff, and this 80's sound.
Maiden should do this on their up coming album. This is total Maiden song and still something different.
@@mikkolappalainen9916 joo sama homma. Diggaan tosta suflemenosta tossa biisissä. Tulee niin Burr mieleen.
that would be brilliant to hear them play 👏
lol, nicko is always smiling that huge ear to ear grin...
I just found this. Now I can’t stop listening to it. I have been listening to it for the past 20 minutes
Nicko Mc Brain-drums & perc/ Dave Murray-guitar/Mike Moran-keyboards/Martin Conelly-bass/+ ,,The Touch,,(trumpet-trumpet-sax-sax) Horn arrangement by Mike Moran. !!!!!!!!
Well, gee it sounds like Deep Purple! Great to see just the stripped down musicianship rockin out.
Line Up:
Nicko McBrain: Drums
Dave Murray: Guitars
Martin Conelly: Bass
Mike Moran: Keyboards
Steve Sidwell: Trumpet
Simon Gardner: Trumpet
David Bishop: Saxophone
Andy Mackintosh: Saxophone
Was actually a single to promote Nicko's drum clinic tour at the time.
This is ALL for me, or more to the point, this IS me......what an awesome mix of Maiden and Chicago, I´m truly stunned take a bow....what an incredible opening number in a jazz festival in Central Park NY, THIS is what they have been missing all along....I SALUTE YOU......
I have the picture disc single of this recording, die-cut to the shape of Nicko behind his drums - definite bit of legendary vinyl right there. Now I have to go watch the documentary I knew nothing about...
Good song. One of the riffs has a Be Quick Or Be Dead vibe about it.
Da brividi!!!!
Round of applause for the slow motion shots. :D Never heard this before. Brass Maiden!
We’re they listening to Jeff Beck and Cozy Powell?
GREAT INSTRUMENTAL SONG
LOVE IT
AMAZING
I still have the clamshell vhs on my shelf. Love Nicko, and Dave.
this is cool! never heard about this!
drum lesson video
Never knew about this. Wish Dave's guitar was louder.
Fear is the key was born from a jam-session
According to legend Paul Day wrote all the lyrics to this.
😂
someone needs to upload tabs cause that solo is fucking badass
First seen in TV in early 90's.
Amazing !!!!
There is a bit of Purple and Chicago in this, its a good sound. I have to say I prefer this to the later Maiden stuff
Ska influence!!! Great!!!
This is a great jam
Nice
Bassline reminds "This is Love" by VH. So cool song, up the Irons!
Great artists!
Reminds me of Joe Satriani a lot, the guitar of course & just the whole arrangement.
Beautifull a Lot thank you for this jewell
I love when the drums disappear one by one until it’s just the pyro for some reason
A W E S O M E !!!
I had this drum video.
Same here
Iron maiden prog version!
Sounds very similar to rockabilly in my opinion
Sounds like Davey is plugged straight into the amp, nothing before or in the loop. Sounds like a Boogie Mkiv??!!
Gallien Kruger, I think..... I was part of the crew
🖤
Better than most of the stuff on NPFTD and FOTD.
De donde aparece esta belleza de cancion?
1985
🇬🇧💪
What year is this?
anywhere i can buy this in High quality ? on any album ?
It doesn't exist an Iron Maiden album with this song but you can buy the DVD "Nicko McBrain - Rhythms of the Beast" where this song is performed at the end.
@@Dranik5 Than kyou ill look into that !
Anyone know what tuning Dave is in? I would like to figure this out
Standard...
OMG!! This is where The Angel and The Gambler came from.
The sad thing is, this simple little jam which probably would've been seen as a throwaway track back then is actually better and more memorable and more Maiden-sounding than anything they've put out since Dance Of Death.
I wish I felt the same.
This sounds nothing like Maiden. Thats why its great!
@@onceonlyaz It's different yes, but I was referring to that catchy riff which is very Maiden sounding to me...it's similar to some riffs they did later in songs like "Be Quick or Be Dead" and "Judgement Day", etc.
lol
You can find this song on The Soundhouse Tapes
Franz you really can’t when this song was wrote in 1990 the soundhouse tapes where before the original maiden record.
LOL
He probably meant one of those bootleg compilations that are floating around.
@@MetalSalvation Yes, like this th-cam.com/video/-9VsnpowIZM/w-d-xo.html
Awesome All the players all!!!
Guitar chord progression sounds like a sped up version of "Benjamin Breeg."
Sounds like a combo between Be Quick or be Dead and Fear is the Key
