Seriously! I got to see them last year within the SAME year he had his stroke. Like, beyond grateful him and Bruce are still rocking after what they’ve been through 🙏🏻
71 years old, after a recent stroke recovery, and playing amazingly! The joyfullness he shows while performing is incredible. As a fan and drummer, all admiration and respect.
As a 50 year old life long Maiden fan, I just want to say that this entire performance was incredible. However, any maiden fan that has listened to their catalog and knows every single note of maidens solos will tell you that the Marine on the left with the dark hair absolutely crushed it! His tone, note placement, bends, etc...was dead on the money! Well done Sir! You don't play that well just from reading sheet music. I promise you he's 100% a Maiden fan.

If someone said to me 40 years ago I'd have an electronic phone in my car sat watching the Royal Marines playing Iron Maiden songs I wouldn't have believed them.
That was incredible. Forty years ago Iron Maiden was scaring the pants off parents as they were going to corrupt the youth - and now they're basically a national treasure. Eff that. They're a global treasure. Can't wait to see Maiden live again this November in Fort Worth... where I saw them for the very first time back in 1988.
Nicko smiling is just cure for sadness. He's 72 and having a freaking blast doing what he's doing and he knows it's a freaking blessing which he shares with everyone around him.
I'm 23 and I've been a Maiden fan for about 23 years! 😂 Dad's a Maiden fan and he made sure to raise his daughters right! My first ever rock concert was seeing Iron Maiden with my dad, my uncle, and my two sisters. Up the irons! 🤘
What I love most watching this is the joy on Nico's face. Knowing what he's been through recently and here he is playing at the top of his game is inspirational.

Found Metallica cause of the stupid black album, my badass drummer uncle turned me onto the good stuff, then Megadeth, then one day I was hangin out and he hooked me up with Piece of Mind, and Seventh Son, and Unleashed in the East. . . at first I didnt get it. Didnt have that crunchy thrashy sound the mid 80s big 4 had. Then!!! as my guitar skills grew I began to realize the magic in Dualing guitars, and it only opened a gateway to a better understanding of how nuanced and skilled Irond Maiden and Priest were. Holy shit and the Vocals. . .and the Bass. . . and the Guitars. . . and the extremely punctuated epic drumming. To this day if Im ever asked who I think the best metal band is its always Maiden>Priest>Sabbath>Dio>Metallica>Megadeth and pretty much in that order
The entire show was AWESOME! (Yes, I'm from the U.S.). Nicko was incredible. However, the entire Band of HM Marines is always a sight to see and a treat to hear. Special congratulations to your Marines on the Strat and the Les Paul guitars. They ROCK! I love it when there is a fusion of Rock/Metal and accompanied by so many instruments, with the iconic HM Marine snare drummers marching and playing with their military precision. BRAVO!

Oggi a 53 ascoltare e vedere questo video mi fa essere ancora più orgoglioso fiero e assolutamente fortunato per essere nato nel 1971 e aver vissuto poi a 11anni quelle canzoni e soprattutto suonato fino allo sfinimento tutta la loro musica. Niko sei un grande e sono felice che tu abbia superato una cosa così spaventosa di salute. Vedere questi ragazzi queste generazioni suonare la vostra musica mi riempie il cuore. I was there, and it was even more epic then the video suggests... A proper treat for the lugs... They all blew the Royal Albert Halls dome roof off with this one! :) Absolute brilliant... The whole show was, so much so... I'll be back next year, and if you havent seen them... Just go!!! ;)

I'm 55 years old, I play for fun in a rock band here in São Paulo Brazil I met Nicko when he came with Iron Maiden to São Paulo Brasil 1996 for a presentation of one of your drum clinics session on Cultura Inlglesa English school. Very kind guy patiently autographed around 200 banners, CDs and records from crazy fans in two stages of presentation,What a blessing to see that he recovered !

I was 12 in 1984 when I first time heard IRON MAIDEN and since this time I never missed any song. When Bruce left for couple of years band I was sad but then I woke up again. But now is different. The legend is going for retirement, fully deserved. Bud I´m sad again and even more, I spend 40 years with him and band, never forget - thanks Nicko!!! YOU ARE LEGEND.

Love to see Nicko having this much fun, if you asked them in the late 70s thru the 80s and 90s if he would be smiling this much after 50 years, Im sure its pure joy. I had 3 Iron Maiden posters in my room in Holyoke Massachusetts back in 1986, never even heard an Iron Maiden song, my girlfriend got me Somewhere in Time and I was hooked!!
