Considering I’m probably one of the first few consumers to assemble one of these by myself, I’ll give you my input and tips. It was delivered to me on a wood palette in my front drive way, like the video shows, unload everything inside the grill before attempting to move it to your assembly site (I scratched mine a little bit in this process because I was attempting to hulk it, alone). The hardest step for me was adding the base to the legs. While its relatively easy to slip the base in between the grill legs, the issue is pressure is needed from different angles to get the holes to line up and bolt down (a buddy would be nice here to apply pressure to the legs). For the bolts inside the grill, I never received a “supplied wrench” I had to use gloves and do it by hand and use my own poor fitting wrench. The burn in went fine. Dont be surprised if it goes above 400 during this period. Apparently this is normal for burn ins. For the wifi connection (android user), I had to use my wife's iphone and suddenly it connected after i went through the set up price via apple (please look at this recteq). Make sure your phone and grill are connected/connecting to a 2.4 ghz wifi. Happy Grilling.
I have a hunch in the near future we will see the flagship 1800. Whew!! Haha
Love my 1100.
