    Thx fir great video. I have a 2014 modell and when i watch the video the 2020 modell looks like it is handling the same way, a little loose in the rear. Now i am for sure going for the 2021 modell. Looks awsome 👍🏻.
    Thx again for a great video, nothing fansy smansy, just the way i like it. Keep those videoes coming

      Thank you so much for tuning in and leaving a positive comment! We are really happy with how the 21 car performed over the 20 and it feels like the weight balancing with the new setup has made all the difference to an already amazing car!

      Thanks for tuning in and we hope you are enjoying your new build! You are not wrong, Shawn is currently in the process of converting his 20 car from this video into a 21 car and there wasn't to many parts to convert it over. The most expensive part was the chassis

    I like the battery layout on the 21 and it seems like it would work really well with the pillow ball suspension. Been going through reviews and this review is good but the cars looked like they struggling through the bump section and didn't seem to be planted like what I hoped to see there. 😕 even after watching I'm still not completely discouraged from buying the 21 I've never owned an x-ray and I have way too many questions to list

      Thanks for leaving a comment! We tested both cars with the stock shock pistons, oil and caps not the zero rebound. We found a much better shock package through the year but thought it would be the most fair comparison. The saddle packs made the car handle much more the like the nitro car and made setup much easier with less testing.

    Hey guys, good video I'll get the xray xb8e 21 as soon as possible, which motor can you recommend?

    • @ultrarchobbies
      @ultrarchobbies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for tuning in and leaving a comment! We really have been liking the new Hobbywing 4268 Sensored G3 motor in either 1900kv (little more torque and tends to need a larger pinion to tame down the torque on a loose track) or 2200kv which will produce higher speed and a little less torque

      Thanks for leaving a comment! We had a spacer 3d printed with 2 holes to take up the space that the shorty packs lacked compared to a full size battery and then drilled and counter sunk the holes to use 3x10 counter sunk screws on the bottom of the better tray to secure the spacer

    Great to see a couple of average drivers on the track - the wunderkind can make a donkey look like a thoroughbred, but for most of us the odd flip, spin and off course is the true test of a buggy😀

      Thank you for tuning and in and leaving a comment! The new 2021 is such a different buggy in comparison to the 2020, the new saddle pack configuration is much easier to drive especially in the bumpy conditions!

    How would you rate the Xray xb8e and xbte against the mugen kits, and Tekno ?

    • @ultrarchobbies
      @ultrarchobbies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is a great question, from what we have experienced the Xray and Mugen buggies are very comparable for price, durability and performance. The Tekno buggy is very durable and is more budget friendly but out of the box may take some work to get the setup to a point where it is comfortable on your track. As for truggies the Mugen and Tekno by far take this as they are much more durable out of the box and do not need a new aluminum front end conversion for an extra cost of $260.50 USD on RC America like the Xray will need.

      Thanks for the comment. The outdoor track after a fresh new layout needs a ton of love lol. A roller packer, 4 leafblowers and about 900 gallons of water haha but after that the surface isn’t to bad at all.
