I like to use the light for the first three. You dont have to look down it just flashes and boom! Next gear brah!

I was clumsy on my MT03 for the first few months with shifts and stalling. The more you ride, the more your body just 'gets it' and now my shifts are effortless and almost 2nd nature. It just takes time, and your bike is breaking in.

Hell yah man that's more like it 👍👍. Another good habit to make is if you know your going to shift all the way to 6th anyway, just keep your foot under the lever and fingers on the clutch so you don't have to reposition every time

When you're clutched in coming to a light, rev in second no power the sheer rotation of the motor keeps you up with no power to the wheel!

Id recommend not even bothering with 1st gear unless youre on the track. I only use 1st when im taking off at the start of the day then never shift into it again. Its very short and pretty useless and you can easily take off in 2nd
