We planted many an acre of Milo and soybeans with our 3010 and 7000 6 row planter with 30 inch spacings. We had fertilizer hoppers on it and put fertilizer for Milo in the rows.
Hey cousin I just found this channel. Sweet looking 4020 with the power shift. In a different video Did you see how dark that soil was he was turning with that plow?
Nice rig. Now if you really wanted to go true old school on what I was raised on, you needed a different planter. You needed a JD RA4 cultivator frame with the opening feet and 4 ea JD 71 or IH 185/295 unit planters😁
Great videos. Would love to see someone like you in the national corn growers contest, and win! Wouldn't that be amazing beating those with their multimillionaire dollars in equipment? I think it could be done or come in close.

Row number 3 cover wheels are at a different angle. It would be interesting to see how it effects the stand.
Good video i have a nf 3010 will line up on those markers perfect
Yes we usually do that as well. The other 3010 was still hooked up to the cultimulcher ha
good video, really liked watching it! how many acres do you cover in an hour with that setup? is planting a 100ac farm to much?
I don't know how many ha. We only farm like 25 and not all in corn so it will do just just fine for us. That would be fine for 100 acres too yes
@@Deandeere4020 ok thanks:)
What is your row spacing
38 inch
Wasn't all of your tractors in heritage iron once
Yes. Also green magazine a couple times ha
I remember them in heritage iron
