I had a 12 row front fold 7000. It did a great job of planting. I had 2 fertilizer systems, in furrow and 2 x2 x2 behind the seed disk. Hydraulic drive,2020 with row flow and precision Air Force also has Mohawk closing wheels with bolt on bearings offset 2 in. and a 7000 15 row 15 in splitter bean planter with kinze brush meters and hydraulic drive that I built. 7000 planters are simple and good.
You can’t beat a 7000 planter and parts are plentiful

I’m going to be planting soybeans with mine here soon. I’ll be using bean cups this year but I’d really like some Kinze meters for next year
Looking to try and start farming myself, looking at a planter just like that. I have a 4020 also, good setup hope it works out for you!
It worked great. There was a learning curve to planting but the beans looked fine. Excited to plant corn with it next year. Good luck to ya
