Epic Battle on Daiwa Iprimi 5' 6" XXUL Area Trout Rod

Battle with 20 plus inch catfish caught using a Daiwa Presso Eve 1.2 gram spoon. Also caught quite a few sunfish with the Iprimi. The rod is great for smaller fish but realistically big fish just over power it. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching.

"XXUltra Light" fishn looks like a lot of fun...... I've heard red breast is one of the hardest fishing sunfish but I don't think the lakes we have here has any...... Those ole channel cats are some pullers..... Great handling of him, that drag got a workout and definitely sound smooth...... Nice.....

Oh that is a nice catch on the XXUL. He looked big enough to be feeding on the Gills. Looking forward to the second part video of the day’s fishing trip. Tuesday and Wednesday were epic days up here in ETN on our lakes as well. Lots of fish moving up and boy they were hungry.
