What happened to parties at your house that lasts a few hours and you don’t have to sacrifice your whole Saturday afternoon? The last party I took my kid to like that will be the last party I’m ever taking my kid to like that. Your kids turning 5 and mine is 11. They only invite him to fill the venue. Hubby and I was married at the court house. Our reception was at a party house (rented for $300 for 6 hrs). Decorations & foos was provided by our family (who insisted!) My husband and I paid for the cake, DJ (high school kid) & booze. That was 24 years ago 💕
