Tbh it didn't fix shit for me. Its a hit or mias. 70% of the time game is good but the 30% of the time its just frustrating that makes me want an uninstall. I have Clips, where I have unloaded the whole LMG mag and they are not dying and they turn around and kill me.
They ain't fix shit, for me it's 75% trash & 25 good, at night it's worse, it's like 90% bad & 10% good. It was fixed for 2 days then went back to being dog shit lmao, as someone who loved what I saw from this game on day one & followed it since, I gotta say I been extremely disappointed & haven't been this disappointed in a game ever in my life, only thing that comes close is Baldur's Gate 3, I love the game but had to let it sit for months as all it did was crash & it seems they fixed it but it still crashes on Multiplayer 💀 gaming as whole is just so trash anymore. Mark claims they care yet they delayed all this time to release in a worse state then they was before & now haven't fixed anything they said they was gonna fix minus progression which big deal, you can't progress if your shots don't register & you get farmed due to netcode & hit reg & spam hoppers & Tac 50's

PS5 player. Been playing no crossplay since first match and it's very weird how the hit registration is done. So much so I have been having to train myself to pre-aim and pre-shoot by half a second. Really has been the only way I have been able to up my game, because other then that the hit registration delay is just incredibly high. So much gun fights lost over the delay..
@@Digger-Nick It's both. I was definitely not missing my shots. I have gameplay recorded and the vast majority are shots ON CENTER MASS for multiple shots that would not register. I wasn't off target according to those frames. There's a combination of registration and network issues compounding each other, but there is 1000% a huge registration problem.

Yeah it's definitely got that classic cod4 pc feel tbh. I feel like with the sliding and enemies going through you, it seems like it would be difficult on controller, but there are people out there going ham on controller in this game! I think Scump plays on controller and he's pretty insane

Got killed a couple times behind cover and ALSO killed people like that.. they gotta fix that abysmal “tick rate/netcode” bs… It’s getting old real quick… I don’t know how ubi fucked this up so bad.. this is basically a fps version of Ghost Recon: Phantoms, with a couple changes… and that game must be 15 yo by now.. or more… and worked smoothly.
My hit reg hasn't been perfect but not too bad. Until today. Holy shit, im putting nearly full clips from the p90 into enemies, getting the white hit marker so I know im on target, but their health stays full and then they turn and insta kill me. Identical to your 1st example in this vid. My Internet is fine and my ping rarely goes above 30 but this hit reg has become terrible. I feel like I get even further around corners before dying to someone who I know I should have escaped. I honestly can't play with it like this, it's far too frustrating. Gutted because I've been having a good time with this game. Even when I play poorly.
Yeah it's not gotten better. I tried playing yesterday and it was just non-stop hit markers with no damage being done. It could be such an addicting game if they just fix the hit reg

Not when I know I got the drip on someone and they should be dead but they spin and kill me. I honestly thought they would have sorted it in the time period where they either keep or lose players. Two to three weeks is usually the honeymoon period for a game and then alot of people lose interest. Do they not think bad hit reg for that period is going to drive a chunk of players away who may never return.

Consoles are much more likely to be on wifi. Not saying wifi is bad but majority of wifi is not configured, outdated, poor signal/overcroweded, or using isp models which is sub-optimal for competitive gaming.
I'm hardwired. Have tried cross-platform and no cross-play. Hit reg is just bad in general. Dump like half a mag or more into people for them to body you and still be at 80+ health. And that's at point blank range and including headshots. Game just doesn't register the shots or something. And I have good internet/ ping.
What if you play on PC with mouse and keyboard? I doubt this will work since input-based matchmaking is on which always puts you with other PC players anyway.

I found this for xbox players does this work? Settings > general > online safety and family > privacy and online safety > Xbox privacy > customize > communication and multiplayer
I can turn it off, it juss pointless as your forced to play wit PC anyway & it makes getting into games longer, maybe 30 seconds to a minute, usually around a minute

I have 70 ping which is no huge deal in any other damn game I play with my west coast friends, but with xDefiant is fucking AWFUL! It sucks because I actually really like the game when it’s working correctly. I can’t believe they released this how it is… fucking typical Ubisoft garbage
Same here im from Costa Rica and usually I play on 70-80 Ping which is bad for a pro but for a casual gamer like me its still enjoyable ecxept in this game feels like playing on 200 Ping.I cant cover at all wall, feels like im always at 50 hp and im performing really bad
@Jaakeup turning off crossplay in game isn't available on xbox settings. Turning them off in your actual console settings is a nightmare. The game found three players then I sat there for 10 minutes and it found no one else. I think Microsoft really want to push crossplay for obvious reasons (Windows PC) and have made it super difficult to have non crossplay gaming with online multiplayer games. There are enough Xbox players to get games but you need enough players to turn crossplay off in their console settings to put them in the non crossplay pool.
There's been a patch that came out to fix the net code. At this point if you're still having issues even after trying this, idk what to tell you might be on your end
Problem with this on console is you have to go into the settings and to turn it on they don't have it built into the game to turn on so everybody that doesn't know about it won't Go out of their way like The beta had cross-play turn off support built-in also input based matchmaking is off no matter what you do you can't even turn it on so you have to play with mouse and keyboard no choice 😞 so damn annoying

This game netcode is a total trash. Dying behind cover, dying with only one shot, hit reg problems and all at the same time!
