These comments are largely very VERY cold takes of people on copium. The specialists thing looks very cringe, like Battlefield 2042. A game “just” working should be the bare minimum and not something to be cheered on like an achievement. People lowered their game standards so much. It’s like swiping right on Tinder on someone who is not at all your type, because you have been swiping all week and you are getting beyond desperate

Getting in here before anyone gets the wrong idea lol. The game is fun. I wish I didn't have to turn on so many assists to not spin out at every corner. It's got a lot of choice for tracks and cars. Can't wait for the career mode. Progression really DRIVES me to play games more (heh, get it?) Lemme know any cars / tracks you wanna see!

Terrible take, the game is free, not P2W, competent anti cheat, that alone makes it a fantastic game when u consider the gaming market, grow up LOL. Game looks good, its optimized, no lag, don't know what else do these entitled zoomers want nowdays. CoD=P2W garbo full of cheaters, Tarkov=P2W garbo full of cheaters, PUBG= full of cheaters, Battlefield=decent although not free. Consider what's out there and tell me which game offers any similar value outside maybe super sweaty games like Counter strike, but which shooters that are free are actually casual friendly?

I have never touched the multiplayer of Battlefield or CoD in my life and I only started playing Delta Force because 2 of my friends started playing it. I am absolute shit when it comes to PvP, especially when it comes to fast PvP shooters (average 8 to 15 kills per match.) BUT I have fun and I think that's what counts most. I don't care if it tries to copy any game, as long as it's not P2W (like the extraction mode, which I don't play for that reason) and I have fun, that's enough for me.

I don't really see the problem with SBMM. If youve been playing the game for 18 minutes and are killing it that hard than you should be playing against much better players. The only people that would call that a problem are cowards that only want to play against those who will not give them any challlange. If you only want to play on easy mode go play something with just bots.

Extraction IS still multiplayer. It's just a different kind of multiplayer. Think of the PvP like DOTA2 or LoL. The bots are mainly there to engage you, and players engage you based on how you engage the bots. It's really fun!

I don't think anyone has said it's the next "best game since sliced bread". I haven't seen anyone say it's that good. I've seen people say it's highly derivative of battlefield but nonetheless it's something to look forward to because it has a large player base rn and it's free to play

So it's not good because it moderates chat, has classes defined by a persona, and has microtransactions as a F2P game? I don't agree with that take. More time is spent seeing what's similar to BF than what's seeing what's interesting about DF. It feels like your mind was made up before even trying the game. And that's okay. Just didn't find the explanation to be grounded.

Before I can take this comment seriously (i.e. PC2 being the best simulator) I'd have to know every other sim you've compared it to. Because there are at least 4 or 5 sims that are LIGHTYEARS better than PC2. And, I actually enjoy PC2, it's just not "the best". That being said, if you really do enjoy PC2, you owe it to yourself to try AMS2.

If you love PC2 you'll find Automobilista 2 absolutely fabulous as well. It's basically Project Cars 2 but improved astronomically.

The quintessential PC2 experience, feeling great and hitting a wall tossing you first to last. I feel so much better in other racing games cause this showed me how to use the accelerator to turn properly. The cut to the rally bit killed me.

Something was funky with the wheel there, not having 1:1 steering is a nightmare for racing games imo

The iracing Nascar scene is wild. Right now I've been training up with a wheel on project cars 2, but picked up GT7 because I love driving normalish cars instead off ultra super cars which I've never been great at. The Lancia model in this looks awesome though!

Rev limiters kick in in air because the engine is no longer being resisted by the ground, so all the power instantly goes to spinning the wheels while in air. That's why your RPM will crash out when you get back down.

I used to really enjoy Re-Volt as a kid. It was pretty tough even when you got to know the tracks. The physics are very unforgiving!

Re-Volt was originally a PC game that got ported to most consoles at the time. RVGL is a blessing for the nostalgia, plus there's still a very active community. You can find hundreds of tracks and probably a few thousand cars on the forums you can add to the game pretty easily.

So turns out there was some copyrighted music (copywritten?) in the game. Hopefully it'll be done processing I tried using TH-cam's "erase song" feature to remove the song but keep the audio. Rendered this video in 1440p to try and get that "VP09" rendering Codec in TH-cam because TH-cam has seriously been compressing the FREAK out of my videos. I went back and watched a few and like bruh, it looked like an hd video from back when you put &fmt=14 at the end of the URL to get "HD" quality when really it just changed the vid from 240p to 480p lol
