I’m a retired Canadian military mechanic but I do have friends and family I really liked that double flare kit I just added myself to your page thank you from Canada
If you made a video titled "The Lisle Tool That Nobody Ever Needed", it would be 6 seconds of silence. They've probably never made a tool that they ended up disappointed with. Always quality and value!
Talked to one of the Lisle tool guys that talks to people that has ideas for tools on the phone last week about a question I had about about wanting a blow molded case for their relay tester I just got. Mentioned your name to him about something you mentioned to say or get in contact with. Anyway, he was a very nice gentlemen and sent me a Lisle Tools catalog, holy smoke! My wife will divorce me if she only knew at the Lisle tools I will be getting soon as possible. 😆 Thanks CP for your videos, keep em coming, specially the Lisle tools!
Great video. I love Lisle tools and have a ton of them. They make working on vehicles so much easier. I had most of the tools you profiled today. I don't have that flair tool though and will have to check that one out.
Lisle is Johnny on the spot for warranty.I bought a tap socket set and one of them wasn't machined right to accept the tap.Emailed them and mailed me a replacement without a problem.I have a few Lisle tools, one is the valve spring tool that removes and installs them.Works on some cylinder heads and have not lost a keeper since I bought it as a Matco tool made by Lisle
Good old days when Sears sold craftsman made in the USA, just regret not getting more of them before they completely went Chinese made, and sears going down and Lowe's start selling Chinese craftsman. The Chinese made sockets i got are rusty and are rough to slip into the ratchet where my USA made still have the chrome shine, are smooth to slip into the ratchet and are years older that the Chinese counterpart. I remember seeing Lisle but was very much fascinated with USA craftsman when visiting Sears.
I’ve used and beat the living hell (using a box end of a wrench for leverage) out of my Lisle sae and metric hex keys for years and haven’t broken any yet. Good stuff
CP you are a wild and crazy guy. Love me some lisle. I have been looking for a good brake tool, need to give this a look. I have the electrical connector disconnect, spark plug testers, the tap sockets which are nearly irreplaceable hose line pinchers etc I try to buy UsA made lisle when I get the chance Thank you CP
They’ve got some pretty cool stuff, that’s for damn sure. They’re up there with Lang as far as trucks rebranding their products. Those button connect pliers have been on my watch,it’s, just not a high priority. That relay buddy seems cool, but I do fleet work. Just change the relay and go from there lol.
If you work on Hondas, their 19mm impact socket works no matter how tight the bolt is. With an impact you do not need the 50mm wrench that goes inside the crank hub,
CP I trust your experience over reviews on Amazon but a common theme is that the Electrical Connector Separator's tips are actually too thick to disconnect clips from wiring harnesses... or at the very least without damaging them. Your thoughts? Thanks, Brother.
@@CPthetooladdict Sorry if it didn't make sense. The reviews are saying the tips of the Lisle tool are too thick to get in between the connector's clips. Thus making the tool useless or prone to damaging the connector itself.
I'm pretty sure Matco also rebranded their creepers for almost double the price. I get my store prices at our local auto stores on tools and parts and getting the lisle creeper for only $58 at advance auto and Matco was quoting me like $130... WTH!!! And their Jeepers Creepers stand for the tool box is pretty awesome
Love lisle tools, they make alot of specialty tools and they usually dont break the bank

I'm not sure I fully understand to be honest...
