I really liked this segment, everything started out as a gimmick, people said the light bulb was a gimmick, please keep up the great content, much appreciated!
Kind of a funny thing about tool snobbery. So many times, a tool that I have got5en cheap, modified or even made myself, can work better than a stock manufactured tool. I truly appreciated the fact that you showed so many curious people a possible tool that might work for their particular project(s) or shop and it probably cost them less than they thought. Maybe some people didn't even realize there is a "tool for that". Thanks for helping our knowledge and ideas progress. KK
Here's another cheap tool that I love for acetone - the HF MADDOX 32 oz. Refillable Pressurized Sprayer. Thanks, this is a must for all the wives for the husband who has everything.
Just a little note of warning: The 1-2-3 blocks are made for specific purpose. The ones I use are primarily for non-metal work and quick check. Therefore, they don't need all of the threaded holes inside. Most of the metal working ones are machine better with more threaded holes so they can be bolted down if needed. Obviously the more simple version are cheaper. My Son would use the more expensive type for His work.
I just want to say, I have been watching you for a few years now. The quality and information/tools you provide have been absolutely invaluable for me. As an electrician/fitter mechanic Thank you for the contribution you are to others, I have purchased many tools from your recommendation which has saved many hours of my life my family and I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. I look forward to contributing back to you many times over!
THANK YOU for the heads up on so many cool tools. I bought, just now, the Dewalt collapsing table based on your recommendation. I found it for fifty three dollars with free shipping. As for Milwaukee tools, they have the best advertising but Ridgid gives you a LIFETIME warranty INCLUDING batteries, NO questions asked. Imagine never having to buy another power tool battery.
I was recommended for butane soldering irons to go to a cigar shop and get the most distilled butane possible. Make sure it says quadruple distilled or better, so that any impurities don’t get into your butane jets in your iron.
I own one of those Goldblatt trim pullers and can agree, they're brilliant. So much in fact, that I'm probably gonna buy the slightly smaller size soon too, just to take up a little less room in my tool bag. I wouldn't say they're cheap though. In the UK at least, they're around £25-£40 depending on which size. Not super expensive, but compared to basic trim pullers it's a a decent chunk of change.
“Getting stuff drilled out of them (eyes) really really sucks.” Talk about an understatement. The eye burr is the most terrifying thing I have experienced.
Swanson speed squares are a must have. 100 year anniversary of their company this year. They have a set with a tiny 4" trim speed square and a normal 7". Got my new set at lowes.
Happy holidays to you, this was a great Video, I did notice something on your "tungsten sharpener what is the modification that is on the barrel of the Milwaukee Rotary tool?
Yeah I use the iMachinist blades from Amazon. They are inexpensive and work well, much cheaper than getting them “custom” made form a saw blade company
OMG, $80 for a Justrite solvent dispenser can? I found 3/$10 plastic acetone dispensers, 4oz work fine. That's a good list. I find that I already own about half of them.
I bought a canvas LV bag with my first bonus and within 2 years the purse was cracked/broken in multiple places and the store refused to repair or replace it. I don't know what resale value this crap has. I ended up donating it... well maybe I could buy a fake LV from kislux but these designers/robber barons don't even think about taking a dime from me. This one satisfies my fantasy of many authentic products and I can afford to buy them.
A little too much hate on the Milwaukee heat gun. Don’t you feel that it was meant for a different type of work say…. heating pvc conduit or paint removal.
i like beater digital calipers.. but for battery sabing the igaguge absolute ones are nice because they can fully turn off to save the battery. you could mod cheapos with a true kill switch if you re-zero every time.
never knew about the adjustable transfer punches..handy! The ryobi mister fans are very good, multiple cheap tools is often better than 1 expensive one... less bit changes, and when a tool breaks on a sunday night.....
@@jack002tuber I've had off brand air chucks and fittings from Harbor Freight and they were never any good. But with cheap products the problem there is variability. Some may be good and others not so good. That's a large part of why it is cheap. There's just no consistency. Quality Assurance is completely lacking. They let the customer do the inspection and pass the savings onto you? That works for some but not for me.
Not everyone can afford the most expensive tools. However, that should not be a barrier to getting stuff done. Awesome video!

Great post without any bothersome music! Thanks.
hahah Im not one for music in my videos, just lots of talking

Love mine for acetone. Metal prep, paint gun cleaning, discouraging wasps. Awesome tool.

I have the Ryobi die grinder. It works great. I love it.
I bought one of those Hoto electric screwdrivers and I use it all the friggin time. One of the best purchases I've made in years!

Thats a great deal! Where'd you find that table so cheap!?!
Great video!
Loads of useful products or tools to get the job done.
Thanks

Thats a great idea! Ill definitely give that a try!
You take your crack smoking seriously.
I bought a kislux red mini Chanel bag, wish I had more Chanel bags, but considering my budget it's cool to have one bag
A note on the M18 heat gun, they are crap with the non-high output batteries, but work well with a high output M18 battery.
Il have to give mine another try… I almost feel like lately it’s gotten weaker maybe the element is damaged
You had me at, they are crap

Thank you for watching it!
Chris thanks for sharing the information

Go Big 12 or go home.
Is that headlamp bright enough to let me see, beforehand, where I want my first strike?
Thanks. Really helpful video.
YES! That’s exactly what it’ll help with! I use mine every day

Ive got three Empire 6” combo squares in my work van just in case I misplace one on the job 😂
I've got a wen bandsaw had it for years love it,the wen brand blades are the best I've used, Dewalt blades are terrible, great video..

for the plunger can, I would find a silicon lid cap for it so it would be sealed
Gorilla grip is excellent for pulling a panel out of a stack like if you have multiple panels leaning on a wall
A lot of good information. Great video man
Thank you good info made my list.
Love your content and find it very useful Who makes the wall mounted porta-band saw shown on the wall behind you in this video
I’ve got the Ryobi die grinder, great tool
Fantastic

I nomally don't watch long vids, however this had some good info
Thank you! This is the longest video I've ever produced but I wanted to give each tool a little bit of time so it didn't just feel like a brush over.

You're going to be rezeroing cheap calipers all the time anyways.
Link for the inline air hose blower piece?
It should be in the description it’s call the coblo
"as you get older, you should be getting smarter" lol
Great video. I agree don't be a tool snob.
The tank knob indicator is currently unavailable. So I guess I'm about to fire up Fusion360 and model one...
Harbor freight has air fittings that are way less than five or six bucks each
Yeah and they're absolute garbage. Buy Milton.
@@1pcfred I have some that are over 20 years ole and work perfectly.
