Julia, draw a character.
”I drew a room full of vampires.”
Julia, draw a character.
”So, I learned Blender.”
Next time, Julia produces a full length anime movie and takes a single screencap as her character.
@@lagg1e " *Guys* I needed to feel the character's inspiration. Like, why they do?"

JULIA JUST ONE GOD DAMN CHARACTER
What is “room full of vampires”? Everyone seems to joke about it and I’m a new subscriber so I don’t know. A little help?
Everyone: When did you become an expert on Blender?
Julia: Last night.
Julia: What, like it's hard?
Yeah. As someone who went to school for CG modeling and animation, I cannot express just how unimaginable and jaw-dropping that was, and for a character challenge as well. All the praise in the world to Julia!
Reminds me of Tony Stark's answer in the first Avengers about something (thermonuclear science stuff). Hits the nail in the head, Julia is a genius

Julia is Drawfee's Tony Stark.
"When did you learn Blender?"
Julia: "Last night."
That’s… incredibly accurate lol xD

"Your watching me learn blender"
"Ooh myy good... duude..."
Blender is kinda scary at first but it's perhaps the most useful program for any 3D design aaand it's FREE! Highly recommend learning it
You could hear Karina get more and more perturbed with Julia as the details of just how crazy the details progressed, down to the rug lol
I read this before watching her part, and i,,,,, though she just drew a blender or something. I was not prepared.
@@TheEtherny I could not figure out Blender when I tried it. I tried following some tutorials but I think I gave up after a couple hours tbh. This video makes me want to try again because I know I’ll find it useful
Nathan: When did you learn Blender??
Julia: YOU’RE WATCHING ME LEARN BLENDER
The way she says it is like she knows nothing of how blender works, but the way she makes an entire scene and moves it to photoshop screams "I mastered blender after 10 minutes practice"
Julias' art skills: this isn't even my final form
Anyway, draw each other as dating sim NPC’s that fit “dere” stereotypes!
In 10 hours of blender I would probably would learn to do a 3D house that look draw by a 6 years old. XD
@Ruth CRH I have Blender and I still haven’t used it 😅
Okay so loads of credit to Julia for learning FUCKING BLENDER in 10 hours but can we also big up Nathan for literally getting the style SPOT ON?? Like with the others you can tell it’s inspired, essentially, because there’s lots of elements of their own styles even though it’s still super accurate to the shows style, but Nathan literally just drew a Jojo. Like...that IS Jojo. He literally nailed the style so much.
Nathan’s definitely very skilled at mimicking art styles. I swear he’s the dream employee for any animation studio. He’d literally never draw off model.
Yeah, I really wish julias absolutely perfect blender project was in a different episode, because I have scrolled 40 comments and this is the first appreciating Nathan's amazing art
Blender is a lot more impressive tho ngl. Blender is so confusing. For every tab there is another 100 tabs within it.
@@Sn0wSSBM we know. But every single comment besides this one is talking about how amazing it is, and I think that jojo art deserves at least that ratio
Eh, his still uses his kinda minimalist style. By virtue of speeddraw, probably. I look at his and I just feel there's not enough lines. No defined finger joints, and the face and jacket feel... lacking.
The “Julia, is this _blender_ ” killed me
SAME
It's the solid 2-3 seconds of SILENCE (save Karina's giggle) that kills me every time.
My background is the colour green...
This is why I rewatch this episode
Nathan's "Julia, when did you learn blender?!" gets me. Like... Nathan been here the longest but still Julia amazes

"Julia's Stand is just... this room."
And sometimes it's filled with Vampires.
Yes
So her stand is called Vampire Weekend.
The room is actually filled with vampires, but the picture was taken with an old fashioned camera using silver halides so the vampires don't show in the photograph, like how they don't show in silver-backed mirrors.
@@swordcrab3181 Sp that's why the room looks so empty....
Emperio
I just got frustrated trying to learn how to use blender so I stoped to watch some drawfee to take my mind off it. This was a bad episode to have chosen for that...
That's honestly really funny 😅
how’s blender going?
Yes, yes it was
I first watched this when goofing off in my class for blender then Julia came to FLEX.
I’m actually really good at blender modelling if you need any help
Next episode of Drawfee:
"Make a gif of your OC"
Nathan, Jacob, and Karina: "Look at my 10 second animation I'm really proud of!"
Julia: "So I spent 6 months making this 22 episode animated series"
perfect
Even 10 seconds is a fuckton of animating 😭
Hi, I’m from the future and she actually made cutscenes for Drawtectives 😭
6 days*
actually i'm pretty sure she would stuggle with that. Karina on the other hand is the one who studies and did animation so she would do something pretty cool, I bet
Next time on drawfee:
Julia- "So I really wanted to put my best foot forward, so I drew a 13 episode anime. It took me 83 days, 14 hours, and 26 minutes. Do you like it?"
It's the only logical progression from here.
She is going to study architecture and built a real building as a background, then take a 3D scan and draw herself into it.
Everyone: draws an anime character.
Julia: draws an anime.
Jacob: Draws a manga character
Task failed successfully
Yeah, give Julia a challenge, she's going to 1-up the process. You say, "make an OC insert," she'll insert herself as if she's an actual character in whatever medium she wants, complete with a scene. Give her a task for a scene, she'll give a ten second animation. Then it hops to five minutes, then a full thirty minutes, then a full series, or a movie that is one and a half hours.
It was so beautiful!
🤣🤣🤣
Nathan: I did TWO characters
Jacob: Thats twice the work!
Julia: I learned an entirely new medium
Nathan did two characters, Jacob challenged himself by stepping outside his comfort zone with the line work, Karina overcame her past struggles with staying on model, and Julia learned an incredibly hard art program and 3D modeled an entire backdrop including a custom designed rug over ten hours.
Nathan hurt my heart when I heard him quietly say "my background is green" :'}
Same I actually got weirdly emotional because I notice Nathan can be kinda self depreciating of his art even tho in my opinion his was one of the best JoJo fanarts I have seen in a while.
Not an artist myself but I do have other "artistic" hobbies and I know I'm not the best but I know not to hold myself to others standards
@@virtuouswanderer5563 It's been a worrying trend that Nathan self-deprecates on a lot of his art now, even in streams. Sometimes you can hear it in how he says sorry, or in how he points out his mistake and is kinda sad. Maybe it's a combination of being the first to present, being really nice, and also being put as the one who makes the "tame" art so that it slowly ramps up to Julia's art. I just hope that if Nathan sees this that all art is valid and that it's expression, not a competition.
the way karina said "is this BLENDER" just took me out i don't think i'll ever recover
EDIT: nathan's "the background in my drawing is the color green" was the final KO

I think the reason Julia's flex hurts so much is because exactly that: everyone did _amazing._ Nathan's captured the David Productions style exactly, Jacob went and did a full-on manga panel, Karina _stayed on model_ and applied the cel-shading individually. Okay so I've been a blender artist since the last 2 years and I must say that Julia's work in blender is absolutely insane. Her modelling technique isn't the most efficient but the fact that she managed to figure out most of the basic stuff and build a whole scene within 10 hours is impressive.
Nathan: explaining how he can never be able to do this
Julia:oh yeah so I'm putting the floorboards in now
Julia is like a shonen protagonist. The other guys were like: "Hell yeah, we have trained and overcame our limits" and Julia just pops up and says " *...and this is to go even further beyond!* "
She is the rival charecter that is overpowered the entire series
@@npcmcishark7379 YESS 😭
The physical embodiment of "plus ultra" 😂
Nice pfp by the way
Nothing but respect for that amazing blender learning lol
"JULIA IS THAT BLENDER?!"
Nathan audibly shuddering right after that made this whole show.
*YeaH...*
This line in the video absolutely pulverized me.
Best reaction
If I could just watch Julia draw like this while her friends are angry at her for not doing the one thing she was meant to do, I would be at peace. This is wonderful
2:50 this line made me realize that Joseph literally could just straight up be wearing make up as his beard. that is entirely possible. he's amazing with makeup
Julia: learnt blender to make this 1 drawing.
It's cause Jacob asked her if she knew what a rectangle was in the cat video, Julia had to assert her dominance, next she's going to put a set together and just take a picture to draw over
accurate
She killed everyone else drawing.
That's how you build marketable skills lol
No no no. Julia did one drawing to learn blender
I'm starting to understand why Julia has that 'eldritch god' avatar now.
Nathan: "Welcome to Drawfee, where we take your dumb ideas- "
Julia: *reversed screams of creatures that don't exist yet*
Also Julia: ".latrom ,em evreS .serutuf lla dna sgniht lla ot rehtom ,Julia ma I"
@@larkincarmichael4773 usually I'm good at reading things backwards but this took me a minute. Its either the alcohol I've consumed or the raw fear of julia kicking in. Either way it's pretty cool
Julia dealt 10 points of psychic damage to me with her mind blowing process.
Julia IS an eldritch god.
