well, they did. she drew a character.
This is even funnier when you know Julia's background is in construction
Julia: learnt blender to make this 1 drawing.
It's cause Jacob asked her if she knew what a rectangle was in the cat video, Julia had to assert her dominance, next she's going to put a set together and just take a picture to draw over
accurate
She killed everyone else drawing.
That's how you build marketable skills lol
No no no. Julia did one drawing to learn blender
You’ve heard of a “Room Full of Vampires” now get ready for... “Room”
Room full of limbs
Oh hi, Mark
Room full of blenders
Trafalgar Law, is that you?
This is like a whole other level of Julia going beyond the impossible.
....see the invisible
Raw! Raw! Fight the power!
Me reading this before watching: this is probably hyperbole
Me seeing what Julia did for this: IT WAS NOT HYPERBOLE
She took it to another dimension
Ive literally been using blender for years and julia has made something better looking thant anything ive ever modeled
Julia goes even further beyond... PLUS ULTRA
I love how almost reluctant Nathan sounds explaining his ideas when he actually made one of the best jojo fan arts I’ve ever seen
RIGHT like I could SEE all the different influences he incorporated from David Productions's art style as well as canonical JoJo influences. It was masterfully done
"Oh dang, Nathan's drawing looks hella rad, he's really outdone himself!"
"Oooh, Jacob took a unique approach and pulled it off perfectly, nice!"
"Karina's looks clean as heck! And there's a cute lizard pal! What more could you want!"
then here comes Julia practically learning an entirely new medium
like... man. You are an insane person among insane people, Julia. And not in the way where you circle back to sanity. You're just double insane.
She's honestly the Drawfee equivalent of KyoAni when it comes to effort and quality for her work.
Like Burr said "How do you draw like your running out of time"
last episode: nathan can’t direction
this episode: “th- those are vertical lines...”
character growth
He's trying to redeem himself.
Nathan can't direction sounds like what his Jojo part should be called
Its actually a lot of short horizontal lines that are really close together
I was actually really impressed by his character arc
Nathan: I made a Jojo!
Jacob: I challenged myself with special manga-style linework!
Karina: I challenged myself to match a style!
Julia: I taught myself an entirely new digital art program and drew a fully detailed background based on one of the most incredible animation studios and also a character.
Next episode of Drawfee:
"Make a gif of your OC"
Nathan, Jacob, and Karina: "Look at my 10 second animation I'm really proud of!"
Julia: "So I spent 6 months making this 22 episode animated series"
perfect
Even 10 seconds is a fuckton of animating 😭
Hi, I’m from the future and she actually made cutscenes for Drawtectives 😭
6 days*
actually i'm pretty sure she would stuggle with that. Karina on the other hand is the one who studies and did animation so she would do something pretty cool, I bet
Next time on drawfee:
Julia- "So I really wanted to put my best foot forward, so I drew a 13 episode anime. It took me 83 days, 14 hours, and 26 minutes. Do you like it?"
It's the only logical progression from here.
She is going to study architecture and built a real building as a background, then take a 3D scan and draw herself into it.
Julia next episode: Spends a month building a real life house so she can fit her character
eyiqiniso yize 😂
She genetically engineers a creature that looks exactly like her character
@@polishka7529 She creates the universe in prder to create her character from scratch
Jacob: I was going to do multiple panels, but I decided not to because it would take too long.
Julia: ...
Nathan continuing to cackle at the concept of Jacob going to Julia like “can you show me how to do some straight lines pls” while she’s making t h a t, even as the conversation moved on, it’s so funny and cute to me
"Julia... is this BLENDER?!?" is the best quote from this episode.
Karina really should do one of those Drawfee Animated with this part haha
@@Grrrr1997 oh hell yeah
Karina has THE BEST deadpan.
Jacob: Ok, We'll be doing a character challenge.
Julia: Hmm, No.
The Critical Knight

Julia: *_Draws a background_*
Jacob: Do you know what an emoji is?
Julia: This. *_point_* is my artistic interpretation of an emoji.

Yeah Julia’s blender shenanigans were absolutely *insane* but I feel like we are all severely under appreciating Jacobs speed lines and energy
Honestly felt Nathan's Jojo was under appreciated.
You can learn blender, and it's incredibly liberating when you do. I recommend it.
@@DWFM-yn1mh it is amazing indeed! the only thing i would point out is i kinda missed those bold dark lines marking the face complexion that are very characteristic on jojo style
1:58 Nathan: "I had to draw two characters." Jacob: "That's twice the work."
Julia: sips tea.
I think a speed draw where everyone redoes a prompt they didn’t like how their drawing turned out could be cool!! Especially if everyone did a different one!
+
This sounds like fun ^^
So like "i dont like it you fix it" if thats what you mean then i agree thatd be cool
Yeah
That would be cool
suggestion: nail polishes can have some pretty weird names. “So Many Clowns... So Little Time”, “I Have a Herring Problem”, or “Wharf! Wharf! Wharf!” all by OPI are some great examples. Could you draw some nail polish names and maybe include the color? (or not. i respect the drawfee gods)
This is actually a pretty good suggestion, I want this now
That would be so cool
YES
YES! Nail polish names are so weird and random it would be interesting to see what drawfee makes of them 😄
Can I suggest paint chip names? Embarrassed shadow, artichoke mist, and deja blue are some of my favorites :)
Julia is like a shonen protagonist. The other guys were like: "Hell yeah, we have trained and overcame our limits" and Julia just pops up and says " *...and this is to go even further beyond!* "
She is the rival charecter that is overpowered the entire series

Nothing but respect for that amazing blender learning lol
Everyone's saying about Karina's "Julia, is this BLENDER", but I think Nathan's reaction is underrated
"What... Uhhhh, whuuhhhh, WHAT... Guahhhhh... JULIA WHEN DID YOU LEARN HOW TO USE BLENDER? Oh my god, dude... Ohhh"
and the amount of time it takes for him to just process ‘i did a color…’
YASS

Nathan "I did a jojo that looks really good!"
Jacob "I did a Haikyuu with new shading and line techniques I've never done before!"
Karina "I tried (and succeeded) to overcome a huge hurdle I have always had with my literal careerpath!"
Julia *flexes in 3D*

@@EnderWarlock also, the goal wasn’t to improve. That wasn’t the challenge. But yeah, it’s incredible and hilarious
@@genericname8727 Challenges are meant to help you improve. That's why they're challenges and why the crew tries to focus on things they struggle with in these speed paints.
indeed, i just want to say that Karina's drawing was good because she sounded really discouraged this time.
Every one of them did such a good job, but like.
Julia. Julia sees that everyone else set their finishing line further and then does the same except she goes an extra two football fields while the rest go ten extra yards.
When they started talking about traditional art, it made me want to see them try a traditional art challenge. Maybe they all get a random traditional art supply to work with and they have to create something with it
Sounds like the variety hour
Yeah they did a show called drawfree variety hour where they did some traditional marker and paper art and well as a lot of random art with meat and other unusual mediums.
Julia definitely wins a comedy award for this one because the longer you watch her character video, the funnier it gets to think about Jacob interrupting her process to ask about drawing lines. I was nearly in tears by the time she was working on her final lighting.
Things I appreciate:
- Nathan just pumping out a last minute Jojo and it looks amazing
- Jacob's FANG. You know what I'm talking about
- Karina's deep Yu Gi Oh shame
- Julia taking "speed draw" to mean "learn a whole new program"

This line in the video absolutely pulverized me.
Best reaction
Everyone is suprised about Julia doing a room as a character, acting as if room full of vampires never happened
The room got an upgrade.
Tune in next episode, she's going to fill that room with some vampires that are constantly proclaiming "Keep your paws off my wife" to a small doggie.

Sure but as a student of duel academy she'd be a teenager.

Julia: last night
@Connor Reese x

And then Nathan; “JULIA, WHEN did you learn BLENDER?!”
Jacob, that literally looks like a picture of a real manga page. WTF that is so good.
I was about to comment that, It really does!
I know right! I can see him in MSBY team, he's stable but so chaotic sometimes. He might be a good friends with Bokuto and Hinata imo
Next challenge: draw marvel oc
Julia: fully animates a feature length movie about her oc
She would start her own Cinematic Univers

Drawing challenge: everyone else draws a background, Julia draws a character with no background.
Then Julia's carachter is placed over the other's backgrounds
Her character has got to be someone with their back facing the ground. Would be poetic.
And she ends up drawing an entire scene...
Julia draws the character first and then they draw different backgrounds to fit the character.
What about if everyone draws a background and Julia draws a character to fit in the scene
Nathan: "I rushed a thing, its 9 minutes!"
Jacob: "I did a thing, its also 9 minutes!"
Karina: "I drew a thing I draw all the time, it was 8 minutes!"
Julia: "I spent 10 hours and learned an entirely new program.. behold.. 10 hours condensed into 12 minutes!"

And Jacob’s was really interesting stylistically
He literally got the JoJo part 4 style perfectly. I’m actually shocked at how good it is
