- Here's Arthur's part of the journal including all the landmarks and animals which he wasn't suppose to draw. The journal is well made and includes 100% animal compendium normal and legendary.

There’re pictures of all the legendary animals and landmarks including those in New Austin. Bones quest finished as Arthur, 100% plants and animals. Also the rare green turtle of Guarma and Carolina Parakeet.
How many pages do you have? Ive been trying to find out how many total ones there are or a general idea. I got 561 rn.
LordReef idk. It depends on how you fill it . I tried to make drawings on every page without gaps.
@@dman1988 I counted my blank pages too. But how tf do you do it without gaps?
LordReef that was pretty difficult. When you study an animal or plant it usually takes 1/2 of the page, so knowing that fact it would be easier. Just study them all in the order so they will appear without gaps. And make saves so if you didn’t like how it goes just reload.

I've been recently trying to draw these things all in order. From the beginning of Chapter 2, I lay aside the story mission and started drawing in order: Animals - Plants - Dreamcatchers - Vampire - Annesburg Riddle - Point of Interest - Special Character(Agnes Dowd etc.) - Random Encounter(Black Alley Mugging etc.) - Stranger Missions. And after all that completed I started Story Mission.
Yeah it sounds like a great pain but I actually enjoyed the fun in it. I feel much comfortable when seeing those things in order. It's so great

How do you know what animal it is from the drawings? There's a lot os similar animals that you couldn't tell which one it is from the drawing.
I have been trying to do exactly that but I don't know how to do all the story missions without drawing a single animal :(

I want a artbook of Arthur's drawings, I love how they look good without being perfect or refined.
After playing red dead I loved Arthur’s journal it was so beautiful the details his story’s is so gorgeous he’s inspired me to get my own journal and draw and write what goes on and my beginning page will say “there is something beautiful in everyday, you just have to find it”
Because as you can see Arthur hasn’t written on all the pages but he’s drawn some of the things he had seen that day which I find super beautiful

I just started working on that a couple days ago. Used Swanson mission to draw everything in and around Beechers Hope and Black water.

@@meshofesha7789 When you get Swanson from Flat Neck station, you can go to Beechers Hope and the area around it with no Pinkerton spawn. The bounty hunter missions too as long as they're on back of your horse.

I noticed the more times I looked at a particular animal the detail in the drawing got better

You can actually inspect the whale bones in Chapter 1 so that the deer isn't alone on the page

My Arthur’s last journal entry was a drawing of a ram. By that I mean, a huge, two-page close up drawing of a ram, standing in grass.
It felt right.

On my 1st playthrough I believe I got almost every journal entry. Recently I got the 100% completion trophy, which gives you a new 'finale' entry into the journal and is a really nice touch (along with the special cutscene!)

I've not sat down and counted them out lol, but there are loads... far too many for a journal to truly hold.

It says it also depends on other variables, like your honour level.
I've done a low honour run and high honour, but would have to see if I could see any differences.

I didn't record my progress (at some point I did, but I lost the video) and I'm actually not done with it, but my husband found out about it and he was stoked 😆 the book cover is finished though! Minus the leather latch 🫣 but I got about 6 pages done drawn by hand, he can't wait for me to finish lol when I get the chance, I'll take photos and then a video for the next pages after. It'll prolly be boring though 😆 maybe Ill post them on reddit lol

I hear ya, man. The treks to NA can be brutal at times. I spent about 16 hours on the pronghorn alone. Could never get the friggin dung to trigger for inspection. But it finally worked!

@eniadejuwon7286 there's nothing special. Just save/load if you don't like the placement or the order of drawings. But it's really time consuming.

Great Job. But still a missing one just so you know - the Black Allay Mugging in Saint Denis. A guy lead you into a trap and knock you out, after waking up you can record a page says"get jumped and robbed and better find these bast*rd".
I believe that should be everything with the journel after including the mugging one. REAL 100% COMPENDUIM CONGRATS

Thanks. I don’t remember quite well, but I thought I had that event, mb it was a glitch or I did something wrong and just don’t remember. Anyway I think there’re something more that we don’t know or miss.
@@dman1988 there are two mb in Saint Denis. One is near the gunsmith a guy rob you but you only lose about 1/5 money (idk if it can be chased back), and this one cannot be recorded in diary.
The one that can be recorded is around the trapper, he is a guy with a tall hat and you lose all your money, though you can go back to that place kill them and retreat it
Actually through the chapters when Arthur gets more and more sick and you can notice how his writing gets more messy
Damn men you did almost everything in chapter 2. I played the game to much to stay in chapter 2 to much or do every annimal. I do like 50-80 annimals and that's it. In the beginning I draw everything near horseshoe then when I find the hawk that takes a whole page I draw widow rock. And afther second Hosea mission and drawing rhe farm annimals and dog I just draw that big tree. When I get to to the robbery with Michah I draw that crashed airplane, faces in the trees and the obelisk the other rhing like Indian burial site is for chapter 6 for me. I don't know why I'm doing it this way. And that pagan thing is for if I come back from Guarma. Or when on chapter 3 Trelawny says you have to meat Hector in strawberry then I go there and draw the wale bones or devils cave. Also most off the time I draw at least 1 annimal but always something that's fitting for the drawings. My OCD kicks in.😄 I also forgot to tell when first arriving at hotshot I do some plants near camp and the drawing off the Forrest. Then the uncle mission then I do the dog, cat, Kentucky Sadler, Java rooster and chicken and the sheep and then go to the cutscene for the legendary gunslinger. Then I draw a vulture and a hawk (small one) and then inspect the first killer clue. Then I help Swanson then draw the pairy chicken inspect the oil thing and talk do Dwborah Mc Guiness then draw the Appaloosa and do register rock then a dog (near the Swanson mission) then pronghorn and coyote and then the trading post, then a dog and a horse (Bslgian draft most likely) then do the treasure map guy and then go to Javier and start the brawl. Then I first take the burdock root and common bullrush together with the 2 sorts off ducks. Then go and save Sean and then the first Albert Mason mission then Kieran mission afther that stupid first Strauss mission and Hungarian Halfbred drawing then go hunting with Hosea and draw violet snowdrop, alskan ginseng and Wintergreen Berry and then a Bear (Bears eat berries) Then I draw a Wolf and inspect the flying machine becahse It doesn't make sense.. Then second Albert Mason mission and then do Lenny mission and save Micah and from there on I think you can guess.. I also probably forget some annimals that I need very early like a diamondback rattlesnake and a rat (I think I draw that before second mission wirj Micah because I do faces in the tree and Actually I think I draw that before doing second mission with Micah and I forgot the Mary mission so before that or afther I draw male and female ram and elk and then do both legendaries afther each other.. You see really have OCD the drawing in chapter 2 damn. Can't do to much and also not to many. Still my camp has to be almost finished in chapter 2 (decorations I mean the rest is always finished). Now when all that's done I will make a save like end chapter 2 and never play begin or middle chapter 2 again. I finally made 4 outfits that I love. Just that wolf coat I need and that' done at least Also I forgot I go back to Coltor to draw something there but I have to say I draw a lot on chapter 6 too because I want to travel a lot then and be as less in camp as possible.

doing mission consecutively, such hunting legendaries or saving micah or gunslinger, make journal more interesting.
I love how Rockstar puts in tiny little details like this. In a way, I would like to see this in GTA VI.

John unfortunately doesn't have Arthur's level of Artistry. John drew the Obelisk like a bunch of boxes stacked on top of each other and any bodies he draws look more like crude stick figures
So technically after this you could just complete the story and inspect Arthur's grave then have 100%?

The map is from serial killer quest. You have to find 3 bodies

It’s a random event in chapter 2-4 at night near the saloon in Valentine you can have encounter with the prostitute lady, she will call you for help, and if you help her you’ll have the note about it. You can meet her another time after that under the same circumstances and it’s on you how to deal with her.

Hoshû Eyeplopper yeah it’s when you save a woman from Murfrees and her man was going to trade her for his own liberty. You get her back home to Annesburg or Van Horn, depends what is closer. It’s random event at night time in Roanoke Ridge.

@@harrypotter0045 Far as I'm aware it only spawns at night and one possible location is that one Single house East of Butcher's Creek. Additionally if you already completed the encounter before you cannot encounter it again.
If you do the west Elizabeth and New Austin drawings as Arthur, do they still appear on your map?
You mean the points of interest? Yeah they’ll appear on the map.
2 of Arthur's Guarma journal entries are missing?
Hi everyone. When I was in Guarma, I 100% completed the compendium for all 4 birds, and 100% for 4 of the snakes. I'm looking through his journal, and I only see one snake.
If I would remember... I can only suggest that one of the guarma snakes I drew earlier travelling outside the map. I can tell for sure that I had 100% compendium as well

Hey, man you miss one page - the one with back alley mugging, at night in north saint denis (slums) some guy will call you, saying something about guns, you follow him and walk into a trap, they knock you out and you wake up with new journal entry

You mean the first one? No, I doubt it’s possible cause you need to get bond with it on the mission. Same with the first deer.
@@dman1988 it's not actually the Tennessee Walker it's Charles' horse Taima that Arthur draws which is a problem since you can't escape it

I prefer John's drawing, not gonna lie, I know it doesn't look near as good as Arthur's drawings, but his are more realistic to real life, you can't draw a masterpiece in less than 5 seconds

Hey man I know this is from 3 years ago but how do you get the new Austin drawings as Arthur, lol I’ve tried the buggy method but it just stresses me out to much having to do it all over again lol, or is that the only way?
I'm still here, so it's ok. The bad thing I don't really know is if it's still the only method to go there cause I haven't played the game for years. I have another video about it on my channel, and I can recommend another useful channel, Unlockable Eden Gaming, about this game. It is unfortunately pretty stressful to go there with Arthur bit it's the only way on PS or Xbox I know.
You can try the wagon. At least it spawns near the forbidden lands you need.

What can we get with Arthur besides animals, plants, legendary animals, points of interest or mission drawings like this one 9:45 that are only found in new austin in the journal? Is there an entry for legendary fish?
I doubt it's possible to catch a fish when you're instantly under fire of invisible sniper. Still, you can try to disable him, but only on PC version.

Hey man I was wondering, is there any way for you to somehow share this save file for download? Is a pain in the as* to get this journal done in a good way and I already did 100% so I don't have the strenght to go through all that again.
I tried with a man who had some issues with his had, so he physically couldn't do it, but unfortunately it didn't work. Even witg save wizard the save file is connected to your ps account so it won't work on another one.

A little bit north-west from Van Horn at night. It’s a random event so it could not spawn every time.

The girl from Annesburg is from one of the main missions but this one is a random encounter. Try to hunt for it at night northwest from Van Horn but be aware of the ambushes and the cougar.
@@dman1988 Nah. Its not a main mission there are two random encounters. I was still in chapter 2 it was after you hunt the bear with hosea. But heeyyyyy! I finally got the right one after doing some missions, it's the girl who got her husband killed and asking you take her to van horn. Thanks a lot dude!

If I could remember, sorry. But I remember, that you can find New Austin animals not only during Bronte's mission. I have few videos about going beyond the map, and you can find almost all of the animals there as well.

Yes it’s a hermits cave entrance. You can draw it after you meet him for the first time, before the exit

Great work and everything but in my opinion you made it wrong, the Journal must to be Arthurs Life with the Gang through the U.S,
You Move in the main Kampagne through half America, you cant just travel in chapter 2, to New orleans or the Bayou and make a Note about a crocodile or something, it dosent fit, this needs to be in chapter saint denis or something.
And the Balance, it cant be 50 pages of only drawings about plants and Animals, and no Story,
Every Journal should tell a Story, and your Journal says that Arthur move directly in begin of chapter 2 through the half U.S and leave his Camp for months alone.
Its cool, but not perfect.
@ 1:49 with the hosea entry when u hunt the bear, ive tried 3 times to get an entry between the hosea page and the dutch page where u have the 2 herbs. How did u do it? did u do it during the mission or did u split up and find them on ur way home?
ive gotten 2 entries prior to starting the mission and it goes - 2 entries on left page, empty right, hosea spread, empty left page, dutch paragraph right page

I was worrying about you for not uploading for a month! Now I find out you were doing 100% authur good work
I've only started caring about my handwriting very very recently and have been working very hard to improve it and find my own style. Arthur's handwriting is so pretty while still not being overly cursive or perfect, it's really giving me a lot to think about for my own writing!
Arthur Morgan, Soap Mctavish, George Carlin, the romans, Chloe Price and many more have really made me start considering to make my own Journal where i note shit i find and experience everyday, seems like therapy
