I didn’t really measure ground clearance for stock rearsets, but I have about 13” of clearance with the pegs in the most back position (towards rear wheel). Clearance is not an issue anymore as I tested them at the track last time with the bike bottoming out a few times.
Just picked up a set. Thanks for this tutorial.
It looks good and I am just thinking to get one also. Just for my querosity what is the ground clearance of the footpegs now compared to original?

@@DemetriosMallous90 thanks for info, it helped.
What brand front axle sliders are those?
TST Industries
What size socket extension did you use to chase the swingarm pivot out? 3/8 or 1/2 inch and how long?
Thanks
I actually used a thin steel rod and hammered it through the swingarm, then left it in while I swapped the rearsets.
About how long is the rod? Do you think a long 1/2 socket extension would work or a 3/8 socket extension? The 1/2 inch might be a good size
@@stevebean7747 rod is 12” long and 1/4” in diameter. A 1/2” extension would work as long as its one piece the entirety of the length.
Sorry not a 1/2” extension, I meant a 1/4”. A 1/2” would be too thick.
@Demetri Mallous
Thanks 👌.
Not the same as mt09 I don’t think you have parts mine didn’t come with like that long bolt
