    Oh, I forgot to mention in the video I added the switch on the stand-alone because I forgot to mention to him that they need it. I'm sure his will look better than my tapped-in switch!

    People, buy the real connector. The guy spent his time for us to give HP tuners the shaft. Support his work and hard efforts, he deserves it. We need more people like him. People like him are what is going to help you stop the new "Pay for services, aka heated seats and such" in the new cars coming out. Just pay up!!

    Just a note for those looking to purchase the OBDLink dongles: PCMHammer REQUIRES a USB connection, as does "LSDroid for Windows", whereas "LSDroid" (for Android devices) REQUIRES a Bluetooth connection.

    How about actually hardwiring the pcm so you can tune without removal of the pcm . There is a Dodge computer (96-03) that is widely used and can be tuned but it’s hoops and jumps to get anything done and the cost is rediculous, and to me it seems like it is almost identical to the gm computers (0411)).
    Have you experienced anything with the Dodge computers ?

    I wanted to swap a clutch fan with electric fans in my 2004 Silverado.
    I know you have to connect to some pins and edit the PCM to "turn them on". Do you know if PCM hammer could do it? I know nothing about tuning.. just curious

      Nvm seems like it can. Have you ever bricked a PCM with this software

    • @FixedUntilBroken
      @FixedUntilBroken  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I haven't bricked one. Its actually pretty good at recovering from bricked PCMs with HP tuners. just save your original bin. Not sure what your soldering skills are but if you manage to brick it just pop the flash memory off and reprogram it with a minipro.

      @@FixedUntilBroken thanks for the reply. I tried to do some research on PCM hammer in the past and never found any good videos so it's cool to see you using it.
      I'm not very good at soldering. This is Shaun, you fixed my dorman remanufactured cluster and put LEDs in my dash components. Pretty sure it's been over a year now and everything still works great

      @@FixedUntilBroken usually not necessary to desolder anything grounding a certain pin and immediately writing entire takes care of it most of the time

      @@devious762 I thought that was just for a locked PCM does it also work for a brick

    Hi, I saw an older video, but thought that you're most recent would be a better place to contact you. I've messaged you in the past, but don't remember how. I'm looking at getting a 02 chevrolet silverado cluster completely gone through & have the millage & engine hrs changed. If there's a better way of contacting you in this regard, please let me know or if you're still doing it.

    • @FixedUntilBroken

      I don't have an easy way to program those at the moment without going direct to the chip and I just have the time in the day to do it right now. Im not blowing you off just cant handle the work at the moment. Try hitting gaugewerx(he doesn't really like 99-02), Amarillo cluster repair, digital dash solutions or really any of the guys that know what they are doing.
