Large parts of Norway have been very lucky with the weather conditions during the corona situation. And we are allowed to go out as much as we want, as long as we keep our distance to others. So hopefully you can comfort yourself with the thought of that your grandparents may have enjoyed themselves on sunny spring days. Although they certainly would have been more pleased with a visit from you. I hope you get to visit them in not too long.

When I clicked at first I thought you would be grouping a few products to put together a look typical of the country (eg: red lip for France, glossy skin for Korean, bright colours for Brazil, etc.). Hi Matilda- that NARS duo eyeshadow you showcased is so pretty! I picked up one of the Roen Quads during the Sephora Sale and have been enjoying that. That African Violet quad you showed, is also stunning! Lots of beautiful choices you showed us here!! :)
Matilda a side note- I returned the quad from Roen- two of the shades were so glittery no matter how I worked with it, over the first week I had it, it would get all over my face (the glitter) and into my eyes- and it was really awful.. I just couldn’t continue with it. I did order the warm quad because I understand that it isn’t as bad with glitter & was very appealing to me also. I still have not received it and I haven’t received most of my Sephora orders from the sale.

I love place-themed makeup! I tend to wear one particular product when I'm in a new place that matches the vibe. Then, every time I use it afterwards, it brings back all those memories! I love place-themed makeup! I tend to wear one particular product when I'm in a new place that matches the vibe. Then, every time I use it afterwards, it brings back all those memories!
Also I would kill to travel right now. Hopefully I'll be visiting the UK for a month in the fall - fingers crossed it works out!

I spent 4 years in the UK as a student and had a such a nice throwback as you were talking about place names like Kensington High Street (also near where I used to live, in Paddington) and Mayfair Lane. Lovely idea and thanks for bringing up some nice memories :)

I remember I used to want the NYX soft matte lip cream in Copenhagen so much to the point that I would actually look up the city and end up wanting to go there too! The whole soft matte lip cream range is named after cities and I really love that

The makeup item and destination that popped on mind is the 3CE multi pot in Common time and it reminded me of Lake Como, Italy. I went there during autumn and the multi colour trees around there really reminded me of it :)
