Finally, someone agrees with me. Laniege sleeping mask is not as great as everyone thinks. This sleeping mask does absolutely nothing for my lips. If anything, it has dried my lips out even more!
Oh no! Because it has done wonders for my lips . No matter which condition they are in laneige repairs them overnight. You can try innisfree lip balms if you have access to them . They work pretty well
It works best if left on for the whole night and then use a q tip to scrub off dead skin! It's not much as a balm or gloss so I just use it the day before events or if my lips are very cracked and dry. You still need to use lip balm after cause it's meant to get rid of dead skin not the same as lip balm
You need to try the tower 28 glosses it’s a dupe fo the glossier flows but it’s not sticky and it has clean ingredients! I can be found at Sephora. Best gloss ever
I got a sample of the Milk lip and cheek tint and I absolutely love it! I was always a little scared of stick formulas because I thought they'd be too dragging but they're very lightweight, and it smells soooo good. Definitely getting the full size and maybe some other shades as well
What I like about your videos as opposed to videos from beauty TH-camrs is that you don't make videos just to promote products. The products you review or show are ones you love or that you've heard a lot about. And you give such honest simple reviews for everything. Plus your voice very calming. I could go on and on about how much I like your videos and everything I love about them, but I'd be here a long time.

Even though I have been staying at home, Matilda has inspired me to take care of myself ! I’ve been putting on face masks, applying hand and body cream nightly, taking more care of my lips than usual and in general just feeling better about myself! Elisa Marie I bought one and shortly after sold it on Depop because it wasn’t as good as I was expecting it to be! Yes it was nice but not worth £30 for me. I much prefer the Milk makeup bronzer. Maybe you’re not really missing out on much :)

I been keeping on top of my skin care, being a nurse and wearing a mask for extended hours could cause some problems, I might get a skin mist 🤔 I miss wearing lipstick 😢 I just wear lip balm for now. I like the Bite Agave lip mask better than Laneige 🙂

Okay I really really love that you've added products that you didn't like/didn't work for you! I find it so helpful and it's such a fresh contrast to feeling the constant need to purchase everything you see on social media. Matilda have you tried the Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge creams? The color Rose is my holy grail product and I use it for everything, blush, lips, eyeshadow, collar bones, across the nose bridge, and even on my shoulders and underneath my eyes for that Edwardian period drama look

Loved this video as I do all your content. You have a very calming presence. Since I feel we share a love of all things lip, I wanted to recommend the Clarins lip oil in any shade really. I have tried the raspberry, red, and red shimmer shades. I think you would love the red. I find it very nourishing on my chronically dry lips and I know how much you enjoy a sheer red. ♥️

Hot Chocolite by Fenty is AMAZING! I don’t really like the other shades of this gloss, but that one....ohhhh💕💕 it’s quite sheer, just ads a bit of depth to the lips plus some beautiful shimmer. Love!
In terms of productivity, I find that it helps to go on a walk before starting work. I hadn't realized until now how helpful it was to walk to class in terms of transitioning to school/work mode. (I live in an area where I can go on walks without encountering many people. If you are in a similar situation, I would recommend it!)
Only thing picked up from sephora recently, did purposefully few days before sale, because afraid would go on back order again during sale. I bought newer size big bottle of oloplex # 3 hair treatment. I didn't want my dyed hair to get damaged with not access to salon during quarantine.
I bought the Milk makeup blushes in the mini size from Sephora (week & perk) a year ago. They are the only blushes I use, I wear makeup at least 5 days a week and I have yet to even roll up the tube. This stuff is like Wonka’s everlasting gobstopper.
I felt the same way about the Lebowie lip sleeping mask. I find the bite beauty lip mask much more hydrating though the flavor isn’t great ( I don’t really mind though), it lasts and does the job! I love the Summer Friday’s jet set mask and I’m dying to try their new lip butter that keeps selling out ok Sephora!
The laneige lip sleeping mask only truly works if you wash it off in the morning, it doesn't work the same way if you just let it sit on your lips (like how I see so many youtubers use it). When I bought it, I also didn't understand the hype, but it wasn't until I started wiping away the product with an exfoliating toner on a cotton pad in the morning that I saw a difference! Used correctly, this product really does make lips baby soft
I used it overnight initially but didn't have any noticeable results unfortunately. Glad it works well for you (but I wonder if the exfoliating toner might be why they feel really soft!) ☺️👍 x

I have tried fresh face wash gel .it works good together with a good moisturizer. Definitely, nars lip gloss, tatcha and ,caudalie is in my next wish list. Congratulations for the good choices of items in your video. I really enjoy it specially lips balm and gloss. You could make a video about differents brands of serum vitamin c for face too if you can.

I have actually finished a mini of the milk makeup werk blush stick(6g) before! It took about a year of off and on use. Thank you for your reviews! I've been very interested in the glow recipe spray after trying the watermelon mask and have been loving sheer lip products! Especially interested in purchasing the fresh balm or clarins lip oil at the moment! Hope you're doing well! x
Also Matilda, the Burts Bees all aglow lip to cheek blush sticks are really nice! I got mine from the drug store and it’s very very dewy! Are usually apply with my hands and as soon as my fingers touch the stick and warm it up a little bit it turns really liquidy! I love how when you apply it its as if it’s almost a liquid blush but it looks like a cream stick blush :) Also the all aglow highlighter sticks are a great dupe for glossier haloscope plz check them out! In fact, why not do a Burt’s Bees review!
Definitely agree with your views on the jet lag mask! It’s so thick, almost medicinal that I don’t get how a lot of users like to put it on as a daily moisturizer. I find that it does help my skin when I’m sick, and I just slather it on around my nose and mouth area so they don’t dry out. If I use it as a sleeping mask, I always use a mist toner beforehand because the liquid tones down just how t h i c k the product is and makes it easier to absorb.
I have bought the lip oilf diror in berry after your video and the maximizer in rosewood. Omg i love them both. Moisturizing , glossy and cushiony . And much less slippy than the fenty one. Personaally the fenty i found to slippy and i gave to my mom. I remain a dior fan. I may splurge on the bobbi brown gloss after i finish some more glosses :)
I just bought an aha serum by the inkey list. Something new and simple to try, while also focusing more on skincare and a minimalist makeup collection so that i can enjoy/use what i already have. But i love watching your videos and indulging in the beauty products you showcase even though i most likely won't buy them. Thanks for the videos and lovely reviews :)

Absolutely love the Caudalie detox masque, the glow recipe masque and I feel the same about the Fresh rose masque: fun and fresh (lol) but not sure it does much. Caudalie has a great acide glycolique masque that I love! Give it go on your next visit
Ive had the same issue with the summer Fridays mask. I've found it's not as moisturizing as it claims. The effects feel good at first but doesn't have any lasting impact past a few minutes. You're not alone in your experience!

I ordered the new fenty blush, a refill of the Briogeo Rosarco milk I cannot live without, and, regrettably…the CAD$104 limited edition Tatcha water cream. I justified it to myself because I’m running out of my current night cream and I’ve never tried the water cream, but OW.
Your Sephora picks look great, I have my eyes on the Kosas lip oil as well as the Nudestix blushes, though I can't decide on a shade. I own the Milk 'Werk' Blush and the bronzer, however I really don't understand why they contain 28g of product, it makes the packaging quite bulky and they'll probably expire before I'll manage to use them up... I don't follow expiry dates either, but I reckon it would take me years to finish the Milk stick as I use other blushes too, and cream products tend to expire faster than powder formulas. my aunt owns TONS of lip makeup and I've always liked using them as multitasker! I always put the tiniest bit of lotion on my hand and mix it with a lipstick and use it as a cream blush
Absolutely! Using lipstick on your cheeks is a great beauty tip 💄 Cream blush formulas are usually a little softer and more lightweight so they work better on my skin x
I definitely have my eye on those kosas and Dior lip oils but I have several lip products I need to get through before I buy another lip gloss. The one item I’m really want to get is the new Fenty cream bronzer! Butta biscuit might just be the creme bronzer of my dreams! But I’m thinking of waiting until more people review it, and make sure it’ll suit a fair cool toned skintone. It’s not like I need it right now.

I've been enjoying the Ilia multi-sticks for years and each time Sephora has a 20% off sale, I purchase a new one, or repurchase a colour that's been used up. I'm so happy that everyone else has discovered how awesome the multi-sticks are, but it means they were totally sold out when I went to purchase a new one haha
I absolutely adore the 'Laneige' sleeping water mask! I got a tester, and after I ADORED IT. My skin felt so soft and moisturized, but not that old creamy moisture, it felt like I'd splashed the most refreshing water bucket on my face!

Tower 28 are top of my wishlist but unfortunately as I mention in the video, I'm not in a position to shop the sale this year and I'm trying to stick to a low buy too ☺️👍 Definitely hope to try them in future! You'll know from my videos that I always love sheer, dewy cream products so the main matte (but still fairly creamy) items I own are probably the Jillian Dempsey cream blushes, Nudestix Nudies Matte sticks and Fenty Matchstix. Fenty is the most matte by far in that group x

I find it so helpful and it's such a fresh contrast to feeling the constant need to purchase everything you see on social media. I'd love a full video dedicated to products that didn't live up to the hype for you if you ever have enough products/time to make one :)

I have tried the raspberry, red, and red shimmer shades. I think you would love the red. I find it very nourishing on my chronically dry lips and I know how much you enjoy a sheer red. ♥️

Hot Chocolite by Fenty is AMAZING! I don’t really like the other shades of this gloss, but that one....ohhhh💕💕 it’s quite sheer, just ads a bit of depth to the lips plus some beautiful shimmer. Love!

In terms of productivity, I find that it helps to go on a walk before starting work. I hadn't realized until now how helpful it was to walk to class in terms of transitioning to school/work mode. (I live in an area where I can go on walks without encountering many people. If you are in a similar situation, I would recommend it!)

I bought the Milk makeup blushes in the mini size from Sephora (week & perk) a year ago. They are the only blushes I use, I wear makeup at least 5 days a week and I have yet to even roll up the tube. This stuff is like Wonka’s everlasting gobstopper.

I felt the same way about the Lebowie lip sleeping mask. I find the bite beauty lip mask much more hydrating though the flavor isn’t great ( I don’t really mind though), it lasts and does the job!
I love the Summer Friday’s jet set mask and I’m dying to try their new lip butter that keeps selling out ok Sephora!

The laneige lip sleeping mask only truly works if you wash it off in the morning, it doesn't work the same way if you just let it sit on your lips (like how I see so many youtubers use it). When I bought it, I also didn't understand the hype, but it wasn't until I started wiping away the product with an exfoliating toner on a cotton pad in the morning that I saw a difference!
Used correctly, this product really does make lips baby soft
I used it overnight initially but didn't have any noticeable results unfortunately. Glad it works well for you (but I wonder if the exfoliating toner might be why they feel really soft!) ☺️👍 x

I have tried fresh face wash gel .it works good together with a good moisturizer. Definitely, nars lip gloss, tatcha and ,caudalie is in my next wish list. Congratulations for the good choices of items in your video. I really enjoy it specially lips balm and gloss. You could make a video about differents brands of serum vitamin c for face too if you can.

I have actually finished a mini of the milk makeup werk blush stick(6g) before! It took about a year of off and on use. Thank you for your reviews! I've been very interested in the glow recipe spray after trying the watermelon mask and have been loving sheer lip products! Also Matilda, the Burts Bees all aglow lip to cheek blush sticks are really nice! I got mine from the drug store and it’s very very dewy! Are usually apply with my hands and as soon as my fingers touch the stick and warm it up a little bit it turns really liquidy! I love how when you apply it its as if it’s almost a liquid blush but it looks like a cream stick blush :)
Also the all aglow highlighter sticks are a great dupe for glossier haloscope plz check them out!

Definitely agree with your views on the jet lag mask! It’s so thick, almost medicinal that I don’t get how a lot of users like to put it on as a daily moisturizer. I find that it does help my skin when I’m sick, and I just slather it on around my nose and mouth area so they don’t dry out. If I use it as a sleeping mask, I always use a mist toner beforehand because the liquid tones down just how t h i c k the product is and makes it easier to absorb.

I have bought the lip oilf diror in berry after your video and the maximizer in rosewood. Omg i love them both. Moisturizing , glossy and cushiony . And much less slippy than the fenty one. Personaally the fenty i found to slippy and i gave to my mom. I remain a dior fan. I may splurge on the bobbi brown gloss after i finish some more glosses :)

Absolutely love the Caudalie detox masque, the glow recipe masque and I feel the same about the Fresh rose masque: fun and fresh (lol) but not sure it does much. Caudalie has a great acide glycolique masque that I love! Give it go on your next visit

Ive had the same issue with the summer Fridays mask. I've found it's not as moisturizing as it claims. The effects feel good at first but doesn't have any lasting impact past a few minutes. You're not alone in your experience!

I ordered the new fenty blush, a refill of the Briogeo Rosarco milk I cannot live without, and, regrettably…the CAD$104 limited edition Tatcha water cream. I justified it to myself because I’m running out of my current night cream and I’ve never tried the water cream, but OW.

Your Sephora picks look great, I have my eyes on the Kosas lip oil as well as the Nudestix blushes, though I can't decide on a shade. I own the Milk 'Werk' Blush and the bronzer, however I really don't understand why they contain 28g of product, it makes the packaging quite bulky and they'll probably expire before I'll manage to use them up... I don't follow expiry dates either, but I reckon it would take me years to finish the Milk stick as I use other blushes too, and cream products tend to expire faster than powder formulas. my aunt owns TONS of lip makeup and I've always liked using them as multitasker! I always put the tiniest bit of lotion on my hand and mix it with a lipstick and use it as a cream blush

I definitely have my eye on those kosas and Dior lip oils but I have several lip products I need to get through before I buy another lip gloss. The one item I’m really want to get is the new Fenty cream bronzer! Butta biscuit might just be the creme bronzer of my dreams! But I’m thinking of waiting until more people review it, and make sure it’ll suit a fair cool toned skintone. It’s not like I need it right now.

I've been enjoying the Ilia multi-sticks for years and each time Sephora has a 20% off sale, I purchase a new one, or repurchase a colour that's been used up. I've gotten that Fresh Rose mask in so many sets and used it up just because but I've never noticed any positive effects from it at all. Nothing negative either. It's just like nothing.

Tower 28 are top of my wishlist but unfortunately as I mention in the video, I'm not in a position to shop the sale this year and I'm trying to stick to a low buy too ☺️👍 Definitely hope to try them in future! You'll know from my videos that I always love sheer, dewy cream products so the main matte (but still fairly creamy) items I own are probably the Jillian Dempsey cream blushes, Nudestix Nudies Matte sticks and Fenty Matchstix. Fenty is the most matte by far in that group x
