Your videos feed my minimalist mind. I can’t stand makeup videos that are complicated by over editing and odd audios and added things that I don’t find necessary or entertaining (personal opinion)

At first I was praying that you'd show the steps on the eye in real time on yourself or a model. But actually I think I'm glad you didn't, as you did such a great job to describe the tutorial and it allows more creative and individually matching styles. I think there's enough "on face" tutorials out there and it would've broken the concept. it's just nice to know what colours and products are good together. So if you did ponder about that: Thank you for not doing it 😄👌🏼

Mine has been YSL Black Opium for the past 3 ¹/² years. It actually has become tied to a special memory because my brother gave me the travel set with a mini Black Opium and mini Mon Paris for Christmas this year.
Your videos have inspired me so much to do natural light makeup with the goal of letting yourself shine through, instead of intense makeup. You make it sound so much more beautiful to be comfortable in your own skin, and it makes me more comfortable in my skin! It’s such a great thing not only because you are an amazing narrator but also, no one can longer say ‚well I would do this look but I have acne, small eyes, or whatever. So what I was trying to say is, when you can’t see how finished makeup looks, it makes it much more universal at least in my opinion. I really enjoyed the video, and wish you the best luck!

I myself was a guest at a wedding last weekend and all i had on was a wash of eyeshadow, mascara, brows, concealer, sunscreen, and my trusty velvet ribbon lipstick (which doubled as blush). It's so liberating to wear less makeup and it made me enjoy the festivities more as i didn't have to touch up (except for a few dabs of lipstick and some pats of blotting paper for the shine). Loved this content, as always.

I’ve been trying to pare down my makeup style- I’ve been a bit of a makeup maximalist for the past few years because I thought I didn’t have the looks to pull off a natural style- so this is close to how I’m doing my makeup daily. Oh no, sorry to hear that! I actually haven't even noticed the scent or taste now that you mention it 😂 Unfortunately I haven't come across any other reds like Goldie Red, but you might find some suggestions online x
I have to try that peachy pink eyeshadow look! Being indian and with olive skin I usually resort to smokey eyes and graphic liner to open up my already big eyes but this too will go well with my skin tone and makeup style!!! Absolutely love it!!!!
Paused your video to hop online and buy that stick gel bronzer thing! Love the color palette you chose for this! I've been through so many makeup phases in life, as I go through life I get more minimal and now my daily look is under-eye brightener, a touch of sheer gel blush high on the cheeks and across the nose, and clear brow gel. If I'm adding to that for a special occasion I use a touch of Hourglass Dim Light all over and bit of brow pencil in the arches.

Okay, since you were so spot on with Olive and June, I just bought another of your recommendations... the Cle de Peau concealer. Always have used La Prarie foundation and my Chanel concealer didn’t always match. Excited to try and I think I will love the consistency, too. Thank you for demonstrating with the proper brush, too.

I actually purchased the Cle de Peau concealer brush a long time ago too, but usually just use my fingers to pat it into the skin. I find this the eyeliner brush shown here very helpful for really specific pinpoint concealing 👍 x
Hello there Matilda this is just gorgeous! Although I’m less confident with different eye shades and use only cream shadows I thought the colour combinations were just ❤️. I too took my time with my makeup for a recent family wedding I attended and found it such a joy. I love the Bioderma too even on my older skin it leaves it soft and smooth to the touch. Completely understand that! But as I mention in the video, unfortunately tutorials aren't the style of my channel - I know it's unusual in the beauty space, but I always prefer to put the focus on the products. More about the content than the creator ☺️👍 It's why I don't film these very often at all (only three GRWMs in my 2.5 years of uploading!) but I'd had requests to document a whole look in future for a special occasion, so this wedding was a great fit x

I swatched the gucci sheer formular in store after I saw it in your 2019 favourites video and it seemed to have some shimmer in it which is why I didn’t buy it yet. Does the shimmer translate onto the lips? I really love the shade and the packaging, I might get the satin lipstick to avoid shimmer. Love this style of video by the way, I always watch them multiple times!

I’m heading to Sydney for my brother’s wedding next weekend, so this was really helpful. Flying from Perth forces me to be more minimal than usual. I haven’t decided on my outfit yet so that will determine my makeup. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this to you - you should try Trinny London makeup - you would love it. The Just a Touch foundation is sooo good - lightweight, creaseless and perfecting. I love it way more than I thought I would. Perfect over something like the By Terry cc serum in Sunny Flash. I haven’t tried her lip to cheek products yet, but her lip glow in Lyla is like a tinted glowy lip balm that smells like papaya. 💗

I only do my skincare, Clinique moisture surge tint SPF 25 , some form of concealer Mac studio powder, some kind of eye shadow, Clarins or Clinique mascara, benefit gimme brow, Mac or ct blush, Guerlain bronzer, lippie of some sort - depending on what I'm wearing usually pink or red 😊
Omg you have hooded eyes! I have really hooded eyes and I can never find recommendations for easy, light yet slightly amped up eyeshadow for hooded eyes so I will definitely be referring to your description when going out!

I myself was a guest at a wedding last weekend and all i had on was a wash of eyeshadow, mascara, brows, concealer, sunscreen, and my trusty velvet ribbon lipstick (which doubled as blush). It's so liberating to wear less makeup and it made me enjoy the festivities more as i didn't have to touch up (except for a few dabs of lipstick and some pats of blotting paper for the shine).

I love this one! I’ve been trying to pare down my makeup style- I’ve been a bit of a makeup maximalist for the past few years because I thought I didn’t have the looks to pull off a natural style- so this is close to how I’m doing my makeup daily. I have to try that peachy pink eyeshadow look! Being indian and with olive skin I usually resort to smokey eyes and graphic liner to open up my already big eyes but this too will go well with my skin tone and makeup style!!! Absolutely love it!!!!

Paused your video to hop online and buy that stick gel bronzer thing! Love the color palette you chose for this! I've been through so many makeup phases in life, as I go through life I get more minimal and now my daily look is under-eye brightener, a touch of sheer gel blush high on the cheeks and across the nose, and clear brow gel. If I'm adding to that for a special occasion I use a touch of Hourglass Dim Light all over and bit of brow pencil in the arches.

Okay, since you were so spot on with Olive and June, I just bought another of your recommendations... the Cle de Peau concealer. Always have used La Prarie foundation and my Chanel concealer didn’t always match. Excited to try and I think I will love the consistency, too. Thank you for demonstrating with the proper brush, too.
So glad to hear you're enjoying Olive & June and now Cle de Peau too Julianne! I actually purchased the Cle de Peau concealer brush a long time ago too, but usually just use my fingers to pat it into the skin. I find this the eyeliner brush shown here very helpful for really specific pinpoint concealing 👍 x

Hello there Matilda this is just gorgeous! Although I’m less confident with different eye shades and use only cream shadows I thought the colour combinations were just ❤️. I too took my time with my makeup for a recent family wedding I attended and found it such a joy. I love the Bioderma too even on my older skin it leaves it soft and smooth to the touch. Completely understand that! But as I mention in the video, unfortunately tutorials aren't the style of my channel - I know it's unusual in the beauty space, but I always prefer to put the focus on the products. More about the content than the creator ☺️👍 It's why I don't film these very often at all (only three GRWMs in my 2.5 years of uploading!) but I'd had requests to document a whole look in future for a special occasion, so this wedding was a great fit x

I have so many similar shades so I’ll definitely try this eye look, it looks absolutely beautiful in my head which is why I love how you put the products on focus cause I feel comfortable imagining on myself without the comparison 😊 also I have the travel sized hour glass mascara and it makes me straight eyelashes look so thick and slightly curled! I swatched the gucci sheer formular in store after I saw it in your 2019 favourites video and it seemed to have some shimmer in it which is why I didn’t buy it yet. Does the shimmer translate onto the lips? I really love the shade and the packaging, I might get the satin lipstick to avoid shimmer. Love this style of video by the way, I always watch them multiple times!

The Bioderma micellar water recommendation of yours really changed my skincare routine🙌. It just simply cleanses any makeup away with a swipe. A little goes a alog way with this product. I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this to you - you should try Trinny London makeup - you would love it. The Just a Touch foundation is sooo good - lightweight, creaseless and perfecting. I love it way more than I thought I would. Perfect over something like the By Terry cc serum in Sunny Flash. I haven’t tried her lip to cheek products yet, but her lip glow in Lyla is like a tinted glowy lip balm that smells like papaya. 💗

This is old video, but it is wedding related so of course I had to comment. I only do my skincare, Clinique moisture surge tint SPF 25 , some form of concealer Mac studio powder, some kind of eye shadow, Clarins or Clinique mascara, benefit gimme brow, Mac or ct blush, Guerlain bronzer, lippie of some sort - depending on what I'm wearing usually pink or red 😊
