Gosh, every time I see your work, I'm like "I need to learn to do that too", and I've just started out learning blender, and seeing your process always fascinates me. Congrats! You're doing one hell of a job right there!
@@AlexPi It is my pleasure, I appreciate the dedication and hard work. You know how's that saying, you always learn while you're alive, so I have to keep learning more and more, and from talented people like you!
You are the only person I have seen use the sculpt tool with stencils. Before finding you I always manually did my sculpting, but now my life just got easier.
I love this man. Your workflow is awesome. I would love to see even just a quick tutorial with your most used features in each program. I'd gladly pay for it to see a slowed down version with you talking about the most used key features you find useful in each program. Very inspirational work. I can just watch your videos non stop.
To think a single man could sit and do this ... Smh u people are for the future not many people these days want to learn this ... This scene u made can be the start of a movie .. I wish people like you could have the support and make real good movies and animation because these sci-fi film these days just aren't imagined properly
I watched one of your videos before and I just go so inspired and now im learning blender. the nodes are hard as hell tho but I gotta get through it. But I can't figure out how to replicate the stencil things in blender. But damn fam, your art is amazing...

I am always impressed by your work, thank you very much for sharing your process. I have a question, when you export the project from 3dcoat to blender, do you desimate and bake, or do you pass the voxel meshes with millions of polygons?
Hey Alex, can you please tell me, how you are able to extrude using a stencil in 3D coat, using a Rectangle Lasso, for me only the brush seems to work.
@@AlexPi thanks so much for the reply, i am new to 3d coat, and i figured it out watching your video very carefully, that i was in surface sculpting mode and not voxel sculpting.
Holy moly I hope I could make something half as nice as that in Blender one day! Seems like you put way more in the scene than is visible in the render, was it worth adding all that extra detail? Did you make any more shots like an animation with more camera movement? Amazing stuff.
And i'm still here not completing my donut tutorial
cause it's boring af. move on to better channels!

How to transform the high-level assets of 3dcoat carving into the low-level assets in blender?

when you retypo and bake, how many pollys do you usually stick to in order to keep all those details nice and crisp?

I'm sorry, but how do you make the emission shader look like that? It just looks flat on my end. No 'bloom', no light, nothing.
