Thanks, Mike!! Actually, I just got myself an all-black Allez frame 2016 (for just thb7,500), will build it up soon and ride it during rainy season, I'll probably do a video too :) Are you in Thailand any time soon? I've seen so many Allez on Facebook marketplace lately!!
@@CyclingChiangMai Hi Luis...Yes we will be back in Sept for a few months & actually while I still have a nice alloy bike there I will be looking for one for my wife so we don't have to drag hers there again this year from Hawaii. We always consider moving back permanently either to our home in Nan or back to CM because we love both 😉 We will be thinking hard this trip....Take Care & hope you have a great year with your tours!
Welcome back. Looking forward to another great season of riding in Chiang Mai. You can always count on an excellent and epic cycling experience with the Cycling Chiang Mai team. 🚴♂️🚴🏻🚲.
Love the videos! Live in Singapore but come to Chiang Mai 2 times a year for bike races. You're tempting me to come during the "rainy" season now. Showing some "off the bike" activities for cyclists could be a good thing for content as well - show people what they missing out on when they choose to go the same old same old places like Girona/Calpe for holiday.
Hi Andrew! Thanks very much for your comment and insight, appreciate it!! Now is a good time to come to CM, perhaps not for long cycling trips, but great to be based in town and do short rides whenever it's not raining, the mountain is so green :) Thanks for the great idea, we'll work on that kind of content!
Thailand seems to have more of a coffee/cycling culture than the Philippines, maybe it's just because i don't live in the city or maybe it's just money? ... and yeah the rains are here now in Luzon as well, reminding me that wet mountain descents are scary on rim brakes 😆
Thanks for your thoughts, never been to Philippines but I guess here in Northern Thailand there is also much more coffee production leading to a strong cafe culture. Re cycling, the roads and terrain are simply perfect.
Thanks! 🙏🙏 oh man i'm terrified of that ride, total crashfest. Only been there 2 times in 5 years living here... and I've seen 4 different friends crash and break bones... that road is sketchy af, not a sensible ride imo :(
Hi Luis, I’ve been following and subscribed to your TH-cam channel, as my wife and I are planning a quick R&R trip to Chiang Mai during the first week of December. My only chance to try riding Doi Suthep is on December 2nd, between 8 AM and 1 PM. I was wondering if you have road bikes available for rent or if you could recommend a shop that offers road bike rentals? I’d also love to visit your shop to buy one of your Chiang Mai jerseys! Thank you so much!
Thanks for your support! Unfortunately we are on the road during those dates, busy high season now, But the shop is open Tue-Sat 1-3pm Thanks and regards!
Nice to see you folks back on the roads! I really love that older Alum Allez! If I ever find one in my size 😉

Nice scenery and cycling! Which coffee shop is that? Looks great, and tasty!
Thanks!! :) you can find the coffee shop here: instagram.com/finefinemood/
It's that time of the year where most rides are followed by a bike wash and a chain lube.
hehehe yeah, that or else you live by the Doi and wait for that dry window like we do ;)
Welcome back. I love climbing doi Inthanon but now can't ride decent, so pity.
Thank you!! Yeah, sad they don't allow Inthanon descent anymore... but I've seen people doing it anyway 555555
Thanks for sharing that coffee spot!
