    Bought it last October and have already clocked around 12k KMs on it. I absolutely love it! Haven't faced any issues with it besides the stalling issue which is extremely annoying. The comfort and handling are my favourite parts of this bike. Looking to upgrade to a Speed Triple 765 in next couple of years (a man can dream). Great video man!

    After multiple test rides of both bikes, I can honestly say that the Speed 400 is the more complete & balanced bike in the neo-retro 400cc segment. With USD, 4 piston radial caliper brake, awesome stock tyres, traction control, more tractable engine(better low end torque), better ride quality, better tank capacity, range & mileage, beautiful DRL and an actual tail light😉. It has more advanced equipments and better power to weight ratio as well. Not to mention the best in class fit n finish. It's looks better & feels more premium ❤️

    I'd say, if you're in the mood for a gentlemanly ride like "fancy a motorcycle ride good sir?" it's the speed. And if you're in for some hooliganism like "yo bro let's get a blast on the road bro, yo!" it's the Guerrilla. You CANNOT ride the Guerrilla calmly. That said, Guerrilla sure is the more exciting of the two.

    • @satheeshbalakrishnan1657
      @satheeshbalakrishnan1657 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +18

      I own a speed 400 and I am in my late 30's. Have to disagree, It is not a motorcycle for calm/quiet rides. You have the bullets or cb350's for that. It doesn't like low speeds much due to the jumpy nature when you close the throttle in low speeds. It is not meant to be ridden on constant speed all day. It is a blast on 2-4 lane highways, very easy to lean on the twisties, grippy alpha tires, can be in high revvs and low gears when you are looking for some fun.

    • @Amory98
      @Amory98 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I wasn't talking about it in isolation rather in comparison to the Guerrilla, as the latter is much more jumpy and eager, to the point of being crazy.

      Its not in the same price bracket but for hooligan stuff KTM 390 and even 250 are miles better.
      The way the power is delivered. The bikes are light. Delivery is frantic and exciting.
      It's one thing that KTMs do the best.

    • @Amory98
      @Amory98 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      @@anirudhhhh yes they are, although the 390 (the new lc4c 399 motor) is better, you can't compare the 250 to the Guerrilla. The sheer torque punch of the Guerrilla soon as it pops into second trumps the duke 250. The torque on the Guerrilla is fun to the point of being violent, even more so than the 390. Yes the 390 is faster and would attain higher speeds, but the feeling of that crazy torque hitting you in the Guerrilla remains unmatched.

    You have grossly underplayed the abilities of Triumph 400. For starters, the tank is 13ltrs not 12 as you say, a full 2ltr more than the G450. Then no mention of the USDs, , the 4piston front callipers with sintered pads, 11 kg lesser weight, Ive ridden mine for over 11K kms with ZERO ISSUES. Which was sadly not the case with my Meteor 350, on which I clocked 28K kms. Buy an RE, you make friends with the mistry....so bloody true man!!

    Triumph is beautiful to look at , brilliant engine decent exhaust. Instrument console actually is good , didn't think i would like it but i actually prefer it over the all digital.
    Then i rode a guerrilla 450 ,boi it was a blast . Definitely feels like it have soul. Acceleration gives you that feel to ride more .exhust is simply better then triumph.

    I own a Speed 400 for past 4 months and below are the few clarifications on what Abhinav mentioned.
    1. Yes, the wrists feel a bit of an ache initially, which goes away after 2 months
    2. Don’t judge the speed by the speedo, as it ahas considerable errors
    3. The engine is so smooth that you might not feel any difference between 40kmph to 80kmph
    4. The bar end mirrors are great, just needs to be adjusted to the correct angle
    5. The bike has the ability to be driven easy as well as crazy
    6. If you are coming from a 250cc or less bike, this bike will provide you with unique balance of composure and fun
    7. The fuel consumption I am getting in peak office hours traffic is 24kmpl and it is fairly good, on highways you can enjoy 36kmpl
    8. I would have preferred a twin analogue speedo with a gear indicator like the kawa 650RS
    9. The clutch lever used to be thick and chunky, which in later versions of the bike they have changed to a slimmer one and it is better and easier to use
    10. The switchgear is perfect, even with gloves on (I always ride with gloves on) they can be easily toggled
    My personal opinion, if like the looks of the G450, go ahead with it, otherwise S400. Both bikes are equal. You take a trial and be the judge. It boils down to personal preferences. That’s all.
