I remember hearing about katasraj temple complex during Vajpayee's visit to Pakistan. Now disfunction SAARC was supposed to fund some restoration but clearly nothing much happened.😢
At least the sacred site is now worthy of having worshippers. It is clean and the temples restored as best as they could be.

Basically someone went to the court after the water was dried up. A case was launched against the factories. Court ordered the factories to restore the water in the pond.

Yesterday I was searching for a Hindi newspaper in Pakistan as during the Independence movement there were a lot of newspapers in the Hindi language published. But yesterday I didn't find a single Hindi newspaper. Is it true or I am missing something?
There were a some, so far as I know. But none of them were kept after Partition because I have not seen them in the archives at Punjab Public Library.

sir i have seen one video where a few digging for house foundation and they found one budha idol tney hammer that because according this is against their religion,that duffer did not know the value of that idolvery sad. that could have changed his fortune.
Another sad story regarding total disregard for heritage in Pakistan. I have had the opportunity to visit this place back in 2008, the the pond was there but it had become much smaller, there was some preservation work going on, but years of neglect was clearly visible. The setting up of cement factories is proving to be catastrophic for the water basin in the area. That’s another sad story of total disregard for the environment and ecological impact. How sad. I just don’t understand as to why a country is hell bent on destroying its heritage. Can’t expect much from the corrupt elite & politicians who had been patronized & facilitated to come into power again & again, with the help of men carrying the most sophisticated weapons. Both are looting the country. What a tragedy.

پیر داكهارا ایک دربار ہے جہاں لوگ اپنی منت مرادوں کے لئے آتے ہیں یہاں ایک کھارا اور ایک میٹھا چشمہ ہے اور بےاولاد یہاں کھلونے رکھتے ہیں تا کہ ان کی اولاد ہو خارش والے کھارے پانی سے نہاتے ہیں اور پتھری والے میٹھے پانی کو پیتے ہیں جہالت اس جگہ بکثرت پاہی جاتی ہے
کھیوڑہ کی نمک کی کان جہاں مشہور کیا گیا ہے سکندر کے گھوڑے نے چاٹ کر بتایا تھا کہ یہاں نمک ہے آپ نے ایک پروگرام میں بتایا تھا کہ یہ جھوٹ ہے
جلال پور کے بارے میں آپ نے بتایا تھا کہ یہاں راجہ پورس اور سکندر کی لڑاہی ہی تھی ہرن پور پر بھی آپ نے ایک پروگرام کیا ہے نندنا کے کھنڈرات اور ٹلہ جوگیاں پر بھی آپ کے پروگرام ہم نے دیکھےہیں اس وقت ہم بچے تھے آپ دوبارہ ہم کو تھوڑا بتا دیں
