Dear Jackie I left USA to return home to Kenya several years ago and I would not go back to live there for all the gold in Fort Knox! These last few years back home have been the happiest of my life so far.💛 Even my sister who used to visit me while I lived there said she was overwhelmed by seeing the number of Kenyans who feel stuck and wish to return home to Kenya but don't know where to start. She never wanted to go to the States again after only 3 visits. There's a large community of Diaspora Kenyans who are back here in Kenya and we are doing just fine and supporting one another as we navigate re-entry into the motherland. I truly admire and applaud your bravery in your willingness to make a decision to not remain stuck while waiting for a "dream" that may never happen. If you choose to you can always go back but Kenya may surprise you as it has some of us who now see it with fresh eyes and appreciate it in ways we never could before we left and experienced both the joys and the heartbraaks of living in other cultures..❤ I pray journey mercies for you as you travel back home and may your return bless you and bless Kenya and us all💙🙏💙✝️✝️✝️💛❤️💛
I just relocated from Canada to Kenya. Canada has many great qualities but it's not a place where you will have a good quality of life even if you are a high income earner.
Winter made me realize how beautiful my home country was. Thanks for all the stress and sadness Canada; I now have a newfound appreciation of the presence of my friends and family.
So sorry that you had to leave. Your voice is so comforting. It’s like a lullaby i’m happy that you gained experience here that can help you to enhance the quality of your life I pray that God will bless you on your journey with peace, love, and abundance.
At least you have a country to go home to. I am a 5th generation Canadian citizen. I am stuck here. I am 54 years old and have watched my country turn into a shithole. Everything is grossly unaffordable and I am on a 2 year waiting list for a hernia operation because our healthcare system has gone down the toilet
I mean, as a citizen you have multiple options. Don’t limit yourself. Nigeria is there, go with your savings and invest and you will see how life is beautiful again Finland is an option and also Spain as well
you should be happy you're a 5th generation Canadian citizen, and not someone who has had to struggle to gain what you were born with. So don't sound ungrateful that you cannot see how great you have it. And why has this country turned into what you've called a "shithole.."? Is it because of the type of people being allowed to come into this country, like those from some regions of Africa or from India etc? Or is there some other reason you've said Canada has turned into a "shithole" country? I know that some of these folks from Africa should go back to where they came from. Some of them expected that life was going to be a get rich quick scheme, like what they were used to back in Africa. When they find out it won't be as easy to get rich quick, then they get disillusioned. If you've been watching the news over the past few years, you would see how many Asians are doing illegal things. And also how many of these international students have applied for asylum. I hope they are all denied because those claims aren't worth the paper they're written on. Asylum seekers are living off of our tax dollars & taking away the space you re going to wait 2 years for a hernia operation. I say toss them all out of Canada and get this country back to normalcy
Despite some of us having a second passport and maybe a second home ( not everyone has the option to go back ), I feel your pain, I came here 25 years ago and spent the best of young life working my ass off, studying, bettering myself and finally securing an excellent solid interesting career ….but everything around me is falling apart . Cost of living, security, regulations…quality of life in general has gone down the toilet and it breaks my heart. I invested the best of me here, and going somewhere else was not my plan when I came here.
I recently located from Canada to California. It is so much better this days. I encourage all I Canadian brethren's to seek better fortunes in United States.
What a great spirit, this is the kind of people Canada should welcome permanently. I am sure Kenya will be glad to have you back. what you learned in Canada will help you uncover opportunities you could not find in Canada. Wishing you the best.
Jackie I too left Canada over 20 years ago and moved back home and back then I did not know what God had in store for me but I am thankful everyday for making that decision way back then. I loved the beauty of British Columbia but I am so glad I moved back to Kenya and started a family.
Thank you for this motivational story. I've been here for 5 years, and I'm currently on the 6-month wait for PR without a work permit(visitor record). It's only by God and the support from loved ones that i'm surviving. Will definitely be taking the next flight home if my application gets rejected. I really miss home. To you, my dear Jackie, i'm positive you will do amazing things. If you could survive 7yrs in a foreign land, you will break barriers back home with anything you decide to do. God got you! All the best and take care, Sis.

What a detailed and in depth insight into your journey in Canada. This country has really gone downhill in the past 10 years. Staying here currently is a struggle for many people. Wishing you the best on your return home to Kenya! Much Love!
I wish you success in your return home. You seem like a lovely person. Indeed, your kindness and gratitude about your time in Canada radiates in your comments. So I disagree with the commenter who said that there are no lessons here. Your graciousness is itself a life lesson. ❤

Everyone has his own time and place where he/she will find his blessings and I think going back to our home countries, is a dream that every immigrant has, but our wishes are to go home and make the difference within the community. Thank you for being grateful to Canada and may you make an impact in your home country 🙏.
I was an immigrant to Canada some 38 years ago. It has been a great home, but it has become harder to make ends meet in recent years. The opioid and hosing crisis are very concerning and I'm not sure politicians have any real plan to deal with those.
You are such a lovely young woman, I can understand your POV. Myself as a 64 yr old woman whose Icelandic ancestors settled Canada in the 1800s..my outlook is so different. I literally walked five miles in the snow to go to school, ate liver and lived the Canadian dream. As a teenager in Alberta in the 1970s, it was about getting into the bars and boys at 17. My grandparents were WW1 2 veterans… Canada runs hot in the blood of older Canadians…it is a respect we need, perhaps not understood.

Please continue to use your gifts to make more wonderful videos on your adventures back home . We’ll be following along and rooting for you . Safe travels girl ! ❤️❤️
I left Canada 10 years ago very happy, Canada is to expensive live, government is very greedy charge citizens tax on tax, bad weather, drags every where, life is to short working for the government oligarchs.
As one of your biggest admirers, I bid you farewell with a blend of emotions. Leaving behind a place like Canada, which has enriched my life for 35 years, brings a bittersweet sense of nostalgia. As a Somali Canadian, I have felt the warmth and generosity of this beautiful nation, and I know you will carry those memories with you. Yet, I am filled with excitement for the new chapter that awaits you in Kenya. Your return is not just a homecoming; it’s an opportunity to reconnect with your roots and embrace new possibilities. I wish you abundant success, happiness, and fulfillment as you embark on this remarkable journey. Until then, stay blessed, and may your transition be smooth and inspiring.
It's really a sad story for some of us immigrants, I feel somewhat it's because we as a people don't unite , put our resources together and work together, it's hard for single people to survive here , I am still here with hope of a better day 🙏.
💯 That's the new Canadian dream!! If you can, get out! Canada has become a trainwreck, it's going to take a generation to solve the problems this woke liberal party has done to it
All the best to you. Canada is a beautiful country with tremendous potential. Successive governments have failed the people. This outgoing administration has ruined the once envied immigration system, tanked the economy & has made life an agonizing hell for middle class and low income Canadians. 1 in 4 Canadians live in poverty, record number s relying on food banks, more housing insecure and homeless people, rise in violent crimes, high unemployment especially among youth. Many born & raised Canadians would love to leave as they feel hopeless. Many Canadians worry about their retirement and how they’ll manage as they can’t afford to live here during retirement due to the ridiculous cost of living and the state of our overburden healthcare system and lack of sufficient doctors. We need to get back to the drawing board. An overhaul is needed if we are to regain our stature of a well run country that is indeed the best place to live, grow, work and raise our families.
Oh… so sorry you had to leave. It’s not the end of the world anyways. I believe future holds good fortunes for you and you shall soon find your happiness wherever you are because you have the qualities needed to succeed in any society.
Sorry to hear Jackie. I had a question how long did it take to hear back from your visitors record application. I applied and have been waiting for close to two months. My PGWP expired Nov 17th 2024. Appreciate your response.

Hi, great and touchy words I have heard of recent... this is not a good bye but short time trip back home to come back to that place you so nurture, so you will and shall make or break the barriers and Conquer extremely... Soon your story will change.. it was so amazing hearing your stories.. Remember your Lover/fiancee you introduced is here...
Jackie Inspire, Thank you for your very informative content. Your words indicate that you have not yet secured the/ your Canadian Permanent residence. But if you are already a Canadian permanent resident, and you are leaving Canada because of the bad, temporary economic situation, you not being fair. You shouldn't love 💕 Canada only when it's thriving. All residents and citizens of Canada are responsible for devising ways and means to bring about Canada's economic recovery back into prosperity, wellbeing, and utmost advancement and development. Even if the cause was bad economic leadership by the current / outgoing Canadian government. Every Canadian has to do his or her bit to make this / the return to economic recovery, prosperity, progress and greatness to happen!! You can make Canada one of the happiest, greatest and best countries to live in yet again. You can make Canada a great and very happy place again! You can make Canada great again! Once again all Canadians are responsible in their various capabilities/ capacities to make the necessary positive change and difference for Canada. Together you can not fail! Yes, you can! You have to try very hard; with God, no problem is insurmountable! Canada will be redeemed; and the time is now. Thanks in advance. Yours Sincerely, John Mpiima, ( a devoted lover and admirer of Canada, from Kampala, Uganda ).
It’s ok my dear. The best is yet to come. You have done your best. Let God do the rest. His plans for you are to prosper you Jeremiah 29:11. Sometimes He is just waiting for us to let go of what we are doing used to so He blesses us with what He had in store for us from the very beginning. May God order your next move. It is well my dear
That's OK, not everybody is a good fit just anywhere. Millions and millions of immigrants are happy in Canada, but a few are not. I met both, perhaps the ratio is about 1 out of 20 that would be better off somewhere else, no problem.
Everyone country goes through their ups and downs. This is time for Canadas up. I think we have come to realize the amount of resources our country lies on. We are on pace whether you believe it or not to become a world power house. The northwest passage, minerals, water, and resources in general and land, we are so lucky that why Trump wants us.
I love ❤️ you and will ALWAYS follow your channel. Think about south 🇿🇦 africa if you want to continue growing your channel. You have that south african vibe evennif you Kenyan
Why? We got a commie federal party destroying the country for the last 10 years. We can thank "Our Dearest Glorious Leader" for all the hardships Canadians are suffering. Their official motto is " You'll own Nothing and you'll be Happy"
Instead of leaving Canada immediately , why don't you take on more Canadian experience by acquiring more Canadian education at a Canadian university. After acquiring further Canadian education and work experience during your education in Canada, the situation will have changed for the positive outcome and eventual granting of your Canadian Permanent residence at the end of it all! Please stay tuned, hopeful and blessed. And may God grant you your best wishes for attaining Canadian permanent residence as soon as possible! Cherio and cheerio. Sincerely, John Mpiima, from Kampala, Uganda.

You can bounce back if you so desire. Just do the needful and we'll welcome you back
Hi Jaki, is Kenya welcoming to foreigners looking for a better life?

There is no greener grass anywhere these days, with all that is going on in the world.

I would leave Canada if i could too
Hi, great and touchy words I have heard of recent... this is not a good bye but short time trip back home to come back to that place you so nurture, so you will and shall make or break the barriers and Conquer extremely...
Soon your story will change.. it was so amazing hearing your stories..
Remember your Lover/fiancee you introduced is here...
thank you for you kind words dear
Jackie Inspire,
Thank you for your very informative content.
Yours Sincerely,
John Mpiima, ( a devoted lover and admirer of Canada, from Kampala, Uganda ).
I'm leaving coz i did not secure PR here. I'd love to contribute to the economy like before but I'm allowed to at the moment. So I'm leaving.
I wish I could grab my laptop and go work from Iran but I can't due to sanction.
I wish I could be heard
It’s ok my dear. The best is yet to come. You have done your best. Let God do the rest. His plans for you are to prosper you Jeremiah 29:11. Sometimes He is just waiting for us to let go of what we are doing used to so He blesses us with what He had in store for us from the very beginning. May God order your next move. It is well my dear
@@deesky3000 thank you ☺️
When you say u are leaving. Are u dropping your citizenship and everything. Or is it still an option in case all fails where u heading
No, I did not get Citizenship yet. I was just here as a worker.
That's OK, not everybody is a good fit just anywhere. Millions and millions of immigrants are happy in Canada, but a few are not. I met both, perhaps the ratio is about 1 out of 20 that would be better off somewhere else, no problem.
I am a new content creator!! Thanks for sharing!!
I miss Canada , I especially miss the Anishnawbe people ❤️💕❤️😢
it really has been ruined. Thanks Trudeau
A pot of stew can be ruined if you keep adding too many ingredients
Leaving Canada is reason to celebrate. Not be sad. Canada's economy is collapsing and the cost of living in Canada is ridiculously unaffordable now.
You maybe right. If you live in Toronto . That is right
How long have you been in Canada?
She mentioned 7yrs
U just made me tear😢😢😢😢
Had it being i am the PM, i will give you autormatic PR. Hmmmmmm
Aaww you are so sweet, thank you. I will keeping pushing for the best.
You have that south african vibe evennif you Kenyan
ooh you are so sweet, thanks a lot for your love and support dear
I wish I cld leave too.
Too many Indian immigrants there! You feel like you are in India, not Canada!
And phillipinos
Canada does not feel like Canada anymore 😢
All part of Klaus's installed MINION'S plan
why is everyone leaving canada>??? and also complains of no jobs is that true???
Canada is a good place, however for now everything is expensive for everyone. Many people also complain of unemployment and high cost of living.
@@jaki_Inspire thats very sad
Yes it’s very hard to get a job. Too much immigration
Why?
We got a commie federal party destroying the country for the last 10 years.
We can thank "Our Dearest Glorious Leader" for all the hardships Canadians are suffering.
Their official motto is " You'll own Nothing and you'll be Happy"
You are late to leave Canada,we left ahead of you.
hahaha its never too late
Jackie, I'd love to get in touch with you.
😢
Are you going back in the jungle😂
@@SamuelParkash haha PARKASH you are so funny PARKASH !!
Speaking as a born Canadian, you’ve made the right decision. This country is $H!T for black people. If I had somewhere else to call home, I’d be gone!
I wouldn't say that. I'm black and it's working well for me! 👋🏾
@@valm.5243 What part of Canada are you in?
Likes your comment to the earlier statement
You’ve made a point
Sorry about your situation. I'm interested to know where else is better if you rely on the income of where you are moving to.
It's impossible to go back to school when you don't have finances to cater for that. Since I don't have PR my tuition will be triple since i will be applying as an international student. If i had the finances trust me I would have done masters and PHD
@@jaki_Inspire you are right about tuition. I don’t really know your situation well, but if possible you could try to be more patient to see if you can get PR.
@ I will wait from outside Canada. If points go down and they call me, I will gladly come back
Good choice😊@@jaki_Inspire
@jackie_Inspire you can get scholarships. Master’s fees (8month - 1 year) programs are significantly less than tuition at the undergraduate level.
Only if... the bleeding of a beautiful creation is real... only if. ❤
For some of us we plan to wait out the storm. The Sun is behind the clouds.
Best wishes Jackie and Hakuna matata my African sister looking forward to having you back soon. ❤
thank you, all the best to you. Stay strong
Leave and never came back!!! 😢
Hello how are you doing

You will be back soon. Go enjoy nyama choma for a few months

Im born and raised. I'm leaving too

@SweetTeeTee where are you going?
@ingridmorris5691 I'm still praying about where I should move to, and have been doing some research.
Where are you going?
@@SweetTeeTee not sure yet. I'm going to travel in search of. But, I keep ending up on Puerto Vallarta or Thailand. I'm getting my Eu passport address well

Thank you for your kind prayers. Amen!
Justine is out give it lil bit more time
ready to leave canada truedo screwed it up
If you truly live in Canada you should be able to spell the Prime minister's (Ex- PM) name
The first trudeau screwed it up tbh
He changed the flag, and the national anthem, without asking anybody if they wanted it to happen
@@elizabethbello3746Yes
Let's get that straight
Castro,
his real father's last name!

1 down. 5 million more to leave. shouldn't have come to Canada if ur country was so great. ,
hahaha will you follow me too
10+ millions
25% of the population right now was not even born here
Nice video but ultimately quite pointless. You are not leaving because you chose to. You are leaving because circumstances have forced you to leave against your wishes. There is no lesson here.
@@007alztruli So how is it pointless. I’m sharing my story to why I am leaving. I have a permit to stay here under visitor record. I’m choosing to leave coz things are expensive for me to sit and wait endlessly.
And there are lessons I learned living in this country. Thank you
You should have denounced your Canadian citizenship to live more freely with Kenya pride.

@@gavinchurch6109 🤣🤣🤣
Well Jaki, very good of you to go back. Clearly, you couldnt make it here. Good luck in your home country.
Why dont you apply for the PR and then leave and wait for it while you are in Kenya?
My application is still the express entry pool. If they call me back to apply for PR I may consider coming back. But for now I wanna leave.
7 years thats it
U don't need to tell anyone just go
U don't need to leave a comment just watch the video
