    This is so cool! I'm gathering the supplies needed to make recycled paper and I love that you can make cardstock like paper say for scrap booking but then a thinner paper for drawing

      Crusty and thick is awesome though. I used saw dust so mine smells like cottonwood. Great for layering collage on junk journal pages. :)

      You need to put more amount of water and less the paper puree..then the paper will become thin and soft

    I have found handmade paper is very fascinating. Although I'm still very new to this. I can't wait to dive into. TY for sharing. I just have one question for you.? Before adding paper to the blender is it just water that goes into the wetmix.?

    Hi Sharmane! May I know if it’s possible to fold these handmade (soft) papers and make them into a journal insert? Bcs some handmade papers would break when we fold them..

    Hello! Can I fold them afterwards and put them in envelopes? Or will they break?

    • @shacee
      @shacee  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      depends on the structural integrity of your final paper. if your pulp is fine, it will not break and will simply be like regular paper. i advise you make sure the pulp is fine when you make them and do not make it to thick. but yes, i’ve made envelopes using handmade paper.

    How good is this soft paper when it comes to pencils?
    I love using pencil sketches in the sketchbooks I have, and making my own sounds like a dream!
    But the paper I've made and seen soo far have all been null when it comes to pencil.
    Then again, all the paper I've seen that has failed the pencil sketch have all been thick.

    • @shacee
      @shacee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've not really used the papers for sketching or drawing, more on decorative. But I've successfully created a stack where we printed using inkjet. ;)

    you made me nervous sticking your hands straight in the blender like that

    • @shacee
      @shacee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the razors are at the very bottom of the blender, it is good to have the physical awareness of making sure the blender is off when you do this. otherwise if you aren't comfortable, feel free to use a spoon or ladle to check your pulp.
