So 🤗 let me explain what I like so much about this video :
-Pam, not given a F*** about making it all look ‘ instagramable’
    - Pam just being completely natural
    - Pam, trusting us enough to start sharing her whole living environment with us
    - Getting to know Pam .... feet, ear, nose, half of her face, knee ...
    - the sound of the water in the garden .
    Thank you Pam 👋😊🤓

    Great job Pam
Many moons ago, my best friend and I were experiencmenting with making homemade paper. Our process a little different than yours, we added tiny bits of fabric and drier lint. the lint would it helpe make it more like paper not cardboard and you could bend the paper. Without the fabric and lint, our paper was very brittle and would break easy both helped with color as well . We added our leaves, flower peddles to the pulp.
after we sponged as much of the water out, we flopped did on an ironing board and ironed not only to dry it, but to make it as thin as we could.
We could write on ours, made cards, gift cards, stationary etc. We even bought power that turned our paper Acid free. we had so much fun with our creations.

And a second meme. "We didn't have play dates when we were young. Our parents just threw us out of the house first thing in the morning and told us not to come back until the streetlights came on."

acrylic paint cleans up SO EAAASSSYY!. Not from paper, or soft surfaces (clothes, towels, etc...) but from sinks, countertops, pallets, it scratches right off when dry, or run hot water over it, as it is water soluble.

Thank you for this and all your videos. Have been binge watching them. Last night I saw you organize your threads, brought back memories of doing this with my aunt 55 years ago! She was a seamstress for a designer that would sew the samples that then would go into production. She did put tape on the threads, now 55 years later, I can tell you not a long lasting good idea, tape is yellow, brittle, threads are still good, believe that! The spools of thread have a little slot on top to put the thread thru it and keep it from making all those birds nests. You brought me back in time and always teach me something! Your little Sunny is adorable and I love all the sound effects of the rest of the zoo.

It has been years since I made paper. I do have a deckle etc and I used an old blender and a dish pan for my slurry. I cut up some purple raffia and put in lavender buds. The purple leached into my water it came out the best batch! There is alchemy involved. I like the idea of drying on a sheet for less pattern. Then I wondered what would happen if I flipped it on a vinyl placemat. 🤔🧐 Bwaahaha

Thanks so much, Pam! I join the group always wanting to make paper, but afraid it was too complicated! I feel confident now that I can do it! As always, thanks for being such an awesome youtuber, who really feels like a friend instead of just someone giving directions. Lots of other tutorial peoples channels just seem so..flat..now. You are fun! Never have I felt like I've wasted time watching your tutorials, like I have with so many others.

Thank you Pam - such fun to watch and I have been waiting for this because I have wanted to make paper since my hippie days in college (1970 and onward) so I think I'm finally going to do it. You make everything fun.

so much fun! I am hunting down a used blender so I can make paper again. I loved the paint in the pulp. It came out so much better than I expected.

The frame/wire mesh is called a "deckle." I've done this b4, loved the experience, didn't know then what to use the papers for, still have them. Will have to do this again!

This is soooo cool, I must try to do this! I will need to get little bunches of flowers from the grocery store to dry petals n leaves... nothing but grass all around my apartment. But that’s okay n the screen was so simple to do... thrift store here I come and asking a favor of the handyman for a little screening!!! Thanks so much for sharing... you are so awesome!!!

I made paper 20 years ago. I still have it. I used dried flowers. It took me 3 days. Making a screened frame and following direction s in a magazine. I flattened them on glass. This looks like I may try it again.

I use a picture frame & a pair of tights (panty hose) but never thought of adding colour. Too wet in UK to dry outside at the moment, but will start making paper again in the summer. Great video, thanks Pam
