We do the same we make sure we eat Halal food stay away from gelatin (we prefer vegan gelatin), agino moto while making Chinese and pick any kind of impurity/bug which human eyes can find in grains (rice 🌾 wheat etc). "I love Jewish homes!"
When I was high school, I babysat for 2 lovely little boys in an orthodox Jewish family.
I remember some of these details from that time. Unfortunately, at the time, I was unaware of the meat/milk dish use and inadvertently used the wrong dish when my mom brought an ice cream sundae over for me. The original container was split and was leaking so I took a bowl out of the cabinet in which to set the container.
When I finished I washed the bowl and set it in the drainer to dry.
The next time I babysat, the mother had set out dishes and utensils I could use and asked that I use them. Very low key but when I found out the reason, I felt terrible.
I really enjoyed my time with those boys and was glad she kept calling for me!

I love Jewish homes, and I absolutely loved this video! As many as I've been in, it always amazes me how Jewish homes can be so different and reflecting many different styles and personalities, yet we have these beautiful commonalities that bind us together. (Also, your parting words ALWAYS warm my heart. Hey, sometimes you just need to hear that you are enough!)

I'm the only one that comes from a different degree and all I could think about was that I was not enough to be there and that I was so lost and lonely. Then, when I played the rest of the video, the first thing I hear is "You are loved and you are enough just the way you are". Just after saying that to my friend... And that you pass the traditions AND heart to your children, and then THEY also develop a love for Him.

You have so many beautiful and sacred pieces that honor our beloved G-d… it was a pleasure learning more of your customs and how you are so intimately connected with our Creator in your daily life. Jewish knowledge and culture is very cherishing....especially being a secular country from India where religion is sacred to us, even if I am non Jewish and Hindu by religion...loved your artistic and traditional Jewish House ❤

So beautiful and fascinating to learn about - from another mother.
I don’t think you have to be one race or religion to appreciate such honor, grace, or reverent respect for your home or to illustrate your amazing heritage. Thank you. I feel grateful you share it with the world.
I’m not Jewish or anything but have always adored people who value strong families and traditions passed through at least 7 generations. That doesn’t happen by accident. It represents generational dedication to shared aspirations. And that is a beautiful idea to celebrate with one another like this.
    Thank you.

Excellent video! I have been six times in Israel. Two of them have been the most memorable journeys since I stayed with my wife at the community of Kedumin at the Shomron Region. We stayed with a Sephardi Jewish family and experienced Shabbat in a marvelous way. As a gentile I always pray and support Israel and its people. May the Holy One of Israel continue blessing you and your family.

I am not Jewish but lived in Baltimore and worked in a Jewish hospital for a few years. Thank you for sharing your customs with the viewers and giving a tour of your beautiful house. This inspired me to change a few things in my home to remind me of the presence of God. By the way, I am a Zoroastrian.

Sara thank you for this tour of your lovely home. I sense that it’s a place of peace, security and love that I wish all homes could be. I’m a lifelong Christian so a lot of this is very new to me but I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. You have such a gracious and lovely presence and I love how your life seems to bring such peace and contentment and how God is at the center of it all. Blessings over you and your family!

I love Jewish homes! Such a beautiful video! I’m learning so much from your videos! As a Conservative Jew, I am always looking to learn more about how varied and exciting Judaism ✡️ is. When I visited Israel 🇮🇱, I visited an Orthodox Jewish home and it was just as beautiful and comforting as your home! Thank you so much for sharing your life and family with us! Many blessings 🙏🏾 to you and your family!

I purchased a study bible about 8 months ago. I grew up totally non religious and am reading this bible, one chapter per day. I am in Numbers and am fascinated with the Jewish laws. Thank you for the tour which helps tie together my studies.

Appreciate your home tour my dear ! Lovely, neat and organized. Brings back memories of my renting a room from a Hasidic widower, retired butcher. My mum died a few months after his wife, first day of Hanukkah, 2003. There were seven rooms of guys & two were rabbis. We had the most wonderful weekly Shabbos dinners ! 🤠

    I love Jewish homes.
I also love this video! Thank you for explaining the meaning behind so many things.💗💗💗
There are so many things we have in common. I’m not sure where it began but I always remember seeing a cross above the door of my bedroom as well as the front door of our home.
    Christian version of a Mezuzah.
Such a beautiful sentiment. To receive a blessing for the home and all who enter.
Sending blessings and hugs from Texas, for you and your family. 🤗
