      Respected mam, My name is sivakanth. I'm from Hyderabad city, Telangana state, India. Due to covid I lost my job and ended up with 4,72,000 rupees (Indian currency) debt. Currently I'm doing bike taxi job and unable to clear my debt and facing hard times. I lost my dad when I was pursuing graduation and I don't have siblings to support me. I'm praying god to get out of this financial burden every day.I also commenting in all youtube channels for help. I hope by this comment god will save me through your hands and will give me new life. Thanks for your time for reading my comment.

    And i really like all those handemade things your kids bring home. Unfortunatly here in school, my little always bring things like coloured eggs from school and i could get a nervous breakdown from that
    😁
    but its not as worse as it seemed first, so i sit down myself and handcraft more appropriate
    (in my eyes - LOL ) things whith them.

We, here in India, never use candles anymore. Pardon me... But I'm just asking this out of curiosity as I don't have any knowledge about your culture, rituals and ceremonies you perform; I know it may seem silly to you but it would be great if you can tell me the significance and usage of these candle holders.

How is that looked at from Jewish people and what do you recommend as far as what to wear to synagogue. Should I cover them up for modesty. Also do you ever cover your head or is that more of an Orthodox tradition. Thank you again and Shanah Tovah

      Wow such an amazing life journey! Yes it's appropriate in an Orthodox schul to dress modestly, long sleeves and skirts for women. I don't cover my head but I'm not Orthodox. Tatoos are frowned by some and especially those who are more traditional but today you'll see all sorts!

    So in your Jewish home you kitchen is not Kosher? Interesting choice. Perhaps you might have mentioned that one of the key rules around Kashrut is separation of meat and milk and most observant Jews separate the two. Separate dishes , sinks , even dishwashers. Just wondering why you did not mention this. Or did I miss it?

    • @MyJewishMommyLife
      @MyJewishMommyLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We keep 'kosher style' in my home, if you're curious to learn more you can check out this video I made relating to this th-cam.com/video/Z4dOTQOtJVw/w-d-xo.html

      @@MyJewishMommyLife Ya, I saw that video and I liked it. My point is that you call this a tour of a Jewish house, go into a kitchen and talk about everything except Kashrut. On most of your other videos you explain where you hold relative to other Jews but on this you do not. I'm just saying that given the kitchen is in some ways the epicenter of a Jewish house, I would have thought you'd detail how an actual Kosher kitchen functions. FYI - I think you do a great job!

      Thank you for providing a tour of your Jewish home. I'm a Filipino Family Caregiver, so it's become difficult to attend a place of worship with aging parents,,, In lieu of that lost component of community, I've been researching converting homes into functional sacred spaces. One of my early teachers emphasized cultivating a Godly atmosphere. She emphasized "Soaking" music, for example, and anointing corners of her Niece's room with oil to guard them from Evil. She, obviously, also decorated her home with Christian trinkets. She's a Hardcore Prophetic Christian. On TH-cam, I've found the construction of Catholic and Eastern Orthodox home altars ~ with their emphasis on Icons and Incense ~ interesting, although a tad gawdy.
      I find the practice of intentional silence, cleansing, as opposed to the constant streaming of a live band, which some religious organizations are known for, such as the International House of Prayer. Some ASMR videos enhance Shalom.
      But your presentation I find down to earth, real, and welcoming, as opposed to Churchy decor which borders on Idolatry. Basically, I understand that visualization {the profound agency of uplifting the senses}, outside of impairment, is key to renewal of covenants. I've been told I have a Good Eye. I interpret that statement aesthetically, but generally, I find splash pages are a reflection of the soul, I think. I translate that kind of aestheticism into observant decoration and as a way of proper transmission for guests. At least, I try to. And it's continuously dynamic. I'll rearrange furniture and online content, occasionally, as I mature in Faith,,, ananedim.blogspot.com/2018/12/blog-post_7.html
      P.S. The Tzedakah Box is a Great idea!
