It also really made me miss the craft stores in the US, they really are on a whole other level! I also thought the 'choose my outfit' on Instagram was really fun! yes the ears are soo pink they look like real little pursian cat feet its soo cute I want to explode, also nice place to eat, remindes me of the fancy rooms where they have anime conventions in rosemont in the subburbs of chicago by ohare airport, and the ballrooms there, I have not been to con since covid and wont so long as they make us wear masks, and the danger of getting sick is that high, already got con plegue from the cold dry video game room and being in proximity to that many people once in the beginning of july, and it serves me no point to put on makeup or use my expression on my face to help compleat the cosplay when I got to cover it up, and it already hot in a long sleaved costume or dress shirt, I want to soo bad go back to con and tornament in cosplay skit during the masqurade and see all the people I met along the way and make new friends and have fun with like minded people but not so long as this goes on. as for my tea been drinking celestial seasonings pear white tea currently at work, seems though I am the only one that likes tea on the nights as I offer the box for others to have a bag and make a large cup or small and no one takes me up :{ it like they think I am going to poison them or something, not like the people at con at acen in 2012 that were tea lovers where this one cosplayer dressed up as uncle iroh from avatar that had a tea shop and had a boiling pot and took up a table and was giving away free tea in cups to people that wanted it, I thought it was soo nice of him, ehh that aside as I have rambled on and on enough we have some fancy places around here but not like that place you have there at the adolphus, but we have an old church that has tea and a icecream and craft shop in it and a coffiehouse in a brickwalled 100 + year old building by the courthouse and an upscale steakhouse that is in the old city hardware, which might have continued as a hardware but no one wanted to take over the buisness so it was closed and transformed to a restaraunt using the old 1890's fixtures and pictures of the hey day of the city of Auburn, and it was tough to watch it close it was an old skool hardwear where they sold stuff like a general store with kitchen things and christmas ornaments and tools alike even still had the bunker where they stored the dynomite when it was still legal to sell as farmers would use it as a tool for getting rid of stumps or removing things it used to be just like a tool back in the day, and it even still has one of theose old national cashregester gold looking ones with the crank on the side like you see in the old movies and It still works heh I would say thats about the fanciest around here till you get to fort wayne or joeseph descus in roanoak and the culinarium and farms they have there or the ruth and chris's they put in 2 years back, or maybe eddie merlot's that was soo fancy when it opened you had to wear a suit and tie thought that has since been relaxed, club soda is an old cloth making factory turned into a jazz club that has buisness casual as a dress code its 21 and up though, around here its pretty relaxed in most places, I dont go to those places much anymore, rather have the back neighborhood authentic ethnic food where they may not even speak much english, the wood fired pizza oven places, the poke bowl place, which if you never had it its a hawaii thing that the japanese immigrents came up with there with fish on a bed of rice or grain and you have fish or things you find in sushi over the top of it, its pretty filling, I also like indian though its pricy now, or last of all and often frequented the mediteranian middleeastern restaraunt, with stuff like hummus, babba ganush, or swarma, like you find in the holyland as that is where the owner is from, and the turkish style coffee with the cardamom in it that makes it more chai like. by mediteranian think the style of food you find in greece and turkey as well as parts of the middle east like yeman not like spain, france or italy, though it has simaler ingreedents and uses lots of olive oil.
Everything about this was amazing!! 💜 Those keychains turned out super cool, everyone looked STUNNING (especially loved the cat ears!), and that tea spread looked so delicious! I hear there's only one tea house left in my area - I really want to try it! I hope it's good!
