Great video! I can definitely relate to how much harder it is to speak to camera than public speaking 🤣 Was definitely a surprise when I started making TH-cam videos.
Good advice! Keep practicing to build confidence, and really know your content. Knowing what you're talking about means less thinking time to make stuff up. Equals less ummms.
Pauses are fine. Now many editing software programs have silence detection which allows pauses to be quickly removed. It's still necessary to hide the cuts with transitions of B-roll but that is relatively easy.
It's the same when people use the word "like" ALL the time nowadays. Soooooo annoying and makes it hard to figure out what they're actually trying to say
I'm definitely aware of it! Thanks for the tips.
Never thought about how often most people say UM. So important for public speaking
Thanks for the tips!
Great advice - I struggle with my UMs but I’ll give this a go ! X
Nice idea 👍

It helps to remember to use periods in sentences.
Great points and exercise. Very useful 👊
I don’t say Um, I say but or I click my tongue. I edit those out 😂. Very helpful. Thank you 🙏
This is pretty good

As a German speaker, I always say "genau" what means "right". It really annoys me. Thank you Thomas for the advice! Greetings from Austria
