The issues I have: How do we know what really happened if it's not direct experience? Who decides what make the news? What's the agenda? Why not look at the needs in your direct experience: rescue dogs, volunteer in a rest home, work in a day care : there are a myriad of ways to make a small difference....and the small add up to great change.....energy is power: put your energy on service to humanity.....

I have withdrawn myself from front-line news, to protect my daily equanimity. I’m not opposed to hearing from others what’s important, or commiserating together.
I can get freaked out by 'world affairs', and i know that choosing love is the best option for me. When i make the deliberate choice to see the situation thru the eyes of love, judgment/fear/resistance inevitably fades away, and i find myself holding the situation with compassion.
@@garyhynes Yes, from a certain perspective - as hot and cold are both part of temperature, cold being a slow/lower vibrational frequency and hot being a higher vibration, so fear and love can be seen as different vibrations of the same source. I know i feel like crap when in fear and i feel much better with the love vibe! 😍
I get all news from alternative channels, not msm. I care about what is happening. I transform, cleanse and purify whatever I see, offering it up to the Light, for the greatest good of all humanity.
If you look at world politics from the lense of a civilian's ego, yes surely you'll feel helpless and you'll get depressed. But if you look at it from a detached perspective and you keep your self informed so you can bring light from your understanding of what could be done to prevent manipulative forces to obliterate this planet and join forces with Mother Earth and its guardians, then you realize you must get informed and find reliable sources to truly get a full picture of what's at stake. 🙏🏼 ✨ ✨ ✨
i don’t get depressed by the news, but i get obsessed, which is equally unhealthy. its like following a path in the woods, i just want to see where it goes. if i dont follow this thread through its twists and turns, i wont ever understand the story behind the story. but its all a delusion in the end. i cant even know one thing for certain, not in the news.
My answer is, first ask yourself the question "What truly makes me come alive, brings joy into my life and enriches my local community?" Once you answer that question, and choose to devote yourself to that thing, whether or not the world is "ending" is irrelevant.

What if the world is ending and you don’t watch the news? I guess you miss out on all the opinions of others and details of the occurrence and in the meantime continue on living your life enjoying it, loving it, living it to the end you never even knew was coming. But some people might like to know that the end is coming so them people watch the news majority of their lives sitting in a chair in front of the box, not living, not enjoying, not loving their lives.

Both my wife and I were news fasting when covid and the lockdowns happened and let me say it was pretty hard to miss.

I get it from msm too to get perspective. I know it's not news, but the propaganda is news to my seeing mind.

what if they gave an apocalypse and nobody came?
Then you are free to witness the ending that's occurring presently, in the local ecosystem, and do something on the land to help.
Then you would live a happy life and not be in a constant state of fear.....free your mind
