The flash drive restored the WIFI address. If replacing the WIFI module directly, the WIFI address is not the same. And the WIFI cannot be activated. That's why we need to reprogram the flash drive to remove the stored WIFI address.

Yes, both are right. The WiFi and Bluetooth modules have hardware ID aka MAC address. They need to be remapped with emmc. Mismatch will result in system thinking no WiFi module is plugged in. Unfortunately you can't do this with touch ID.

the mac adress is programmed in, they're removing the bound mac adress from the nand. i was confused at first but it makes sense, the wifi chip is like the home button, and they needed to remove the link for it to work.

FaZe 69 Yes water damage can also cause wifi problems but it's usually not the wifi ic, rather a component that is on the same circuit as the wifi ic. The wifi ic has under fill insulation so it's uncommon for it to go bad from water. Maybe a filter or capacitor has been shorted out around it

Cellular signal has nothing to do with quality of screen. It is most likely due to the impact that broke your screen in the first place.

For 8586 solder iron , usually we apply 310℃ with medium temperature solder wire.
