We all need a smile or fun. I remember when I received my Dollica. I think it almost represents that you are a valued member of our community. You give back, contribute, and help other within the community. It is earned in a way. Thanks JB great video
To me - one of the coolest novelty knives I have is the Spyderco Pochi - LMAO I love that knife and think it's super cool looking - but it's not a cheap novelty knife by any stretch of the imagination! But I do consider it a novelty knife.
Everyone knows you’re ahead of the curve with the Small SMKW Tadpole varietyssssssss! And got us all hooked!! Ordered the catfish for a friend and she loves it; takes it fishing all the time for catfish up here in Montana!
Thanks my friend JB. Walleye? Got an Angry 🍉 Watermelon a few years back and now have 4 more little assisted flippers from Rough Ryder.. need the newest 3 released. I also have my. Blue Wrench knife I bought from a bag lady for 8 dollars in change. It reminds me of a time and it's reminder to have safe, be fun, stay humble and keep going. Knives are special, often have stories behind them. My Dollica is held high in salute!! Cheers man!
Thanks for another GREAT video & I think that fish is a Carp eye but I very well could be wrong & I LOVE those lil Rough Ryder Knives they are so COOL ! Many Blessings JB !
I enjoy novelty knives. I really like the little Rough Ryder pieces and I think the fish is a Carpeye, this way I may be correct. Gas station knives I have to admit are a dirty passion of mine. I am a sucker for the gas station or truck stop knife. I think it takes a certain level of sophistication for these. Great video and thanks for sharing, God bless.
I vote walleye. Too much mouth for a carp. A pretty wood case sits atop my knife cabinet holding 3 single bladed lockbacks with fish and game scenes on the scales. I gave Dad a Kershaw that looks like a 12 gauge shell. It has useful blades for dressing birds. He kept it in a loop in his vest. I had a Roy Rogers knife that someone ripped (may they cut themselves, get gangrene, and lose a finger) off. I say that fun is the best reason to buy anything. Keith hasn't deemed me worthy of a Dollica yet. I guess I should ease up on a bit!
I think people discount the “fun” factor of knife collecting. Not all of us are serious tactical or bushcraft guys. I do a bit of camping and hiking which runs adjacent to my knife life.
If it weren't for the sense of fun, I'd never have bought my Dollica in the first place. And high-quality knives can still be fun. But there's something special about the true novelty knives. I think it's a, um, fish.
Carp or walleye if it was red it would look like a Swedish fish I have a coffee can full of knives for the gas station that I used to carry everyday before I knew better and I actually have a collection of tiny knives that were my great grandfather's that I've added to over the years and when I say tiny I mean tiny the biggest one is smaller then my index finger I don't know great video man 👍
Some knives are born legends (Hot Dog AK, Mermaid). Some become legends (Dollica, Angry Watermelon which I just found out about on this video! I'm not familiar enough with channel lore).
