Wow, you guys have so much energy, I don't know how old you guys are, but you doing great on energy and on your home. I had a mobie home and helped my husband build two decks on it and roofs and a man building for him to do man thinks in, lol. Then we didn't move far to redue his grandparents house. I did lots of sheet rock, wiring, installation, etc. with my husband and lots of painting. I am in my 50's and 9 years after stage 1 breast cancer, and my energy has left me, but I try each day to keep going, some days are really hard, you all keep up the great job and stay strong together and you can do anything and go far together. You give this old wore out person sometime really neat to watch, I wish I had some my projects on tape.
I'm happy that painted it orange as I have written on the comments last time you were asking on what color to paint it. 😊 It really looks warm and welcoming.

I LOVE the Orange door; I think it's a great compliment to the darker exterior. Although I'm certainly not an interior/exterior decorator, it feels warm, fun and that's my .02 HA! The house is looking great, keep up the great work!!

I agree with Mike Sill having the kids paint it different colors would give it a tie-dye effect, it would llok fun and the kids would really feel like they contributed to the build of their home. why not?

A Forest Green would blend very nice with the wood and woods. Double WOW. Y'all got SO much accomplished in this short time frame. Beautiful work! I don't know anyone that owns a tractor with front-end loader, bucket, myself included, that has not used it as a lift for equipment, supplies, people and ladders when working high. Some with double stingers have used these to raise ladders by forking between rungs.
Ask OSHA inspector if he/ she wears gloves , safety glasses; face shield; fire retardant clothes when they fuel up their véhicule and look at his/ her face......priceless

The back of the house looks Really good! And that siding will only look better as it weathers..unlike other types. That door color though, am not an orange person either ;) a brown or a beige would go with the look better imho, but you all are the ones that have to live w/it, so choose something that you all like ;)

Cobalt Blue would be rich looking. The burnt orange looks great too, but try the blue. Blessings and Love from Texas.
I was thinking some saturated shade of blue myself - it would look so pretty with the dark wood and match the sky, even if only temporary.

I like the door. It's all pulled together and very cabin-ish. The orangey color matches well with the wood tone coming through the black.
LOVE the job! The color of the door is OK...lol.....it kinda grows on you. Since it will eventually be gone anyway I would not worry about it ;)
