My daughter got a seat in Airforce school through general category, by sheer luck. I met the principal who was from Delhi. She asked me to introduce a good real estate agent who could help her get a house to buy.
I was visibly surprised when she told me that she wanted to settle here. She then explained to me that she liked the simple ways of South Indians and that language had never been a barrier for her here. I felt happy on hearing this.

People in the North are more towards physical strength viz. People are into joining the Army more and show off culture buying iPhone and Cars even if it's on EMI whereas people in the South are more towards saving culture and they are spending a lot on Education and Savings like Gold(proof by data). They don't like to show off and I could see even a person earning so much is so humble . We should learn from both sides and have balance in our life.

That may be a stereotype that has been fed into the peoples' minds, I do not know from where. I am from North India and I have been noticing for a few years now that these Dravidian parties are trying to manufacture a North-South divide, especially in the literacy (saying Southern states are far more literate than Northern states). Barring a two states, there is not much of a difference in literacy rates between North and South. What use is literacy in a state like in Kerala where half of the population works in the Middle East or rest of India.

For that constitution to work in the best interest of the nation, more power has to be provided to each state as opposed to a homogeneous rule from the center. Indian states differ much more from each other than the spanish states and german states you mentioned, yet they have a much higher say in their politics than the indian state.
Take a look at the Lok Sabha Election results of 2004 to 2019 of the states of South India and look what govt would have formed if they were able to have their own elected representatives working for them. Instead they are subjected to rule from a ignorant, homogeneous party, which forget nationalism, has no understanding of the diversity, people and cultures that amalgamate to call themselves India.
Unity comes with representation, unity comes with compassion, unity comes with being open minded to everyone that is different to you. For a party that uses disunity to win elections, cannot complain about the nation splintering into state identities separate from its ignorant nationalism.

Marathas came to prominence after 16th century, when they started decimating the Mughals.

South indians are really humble and brainy. Most of the computer jobs in USA are held by them. I always wondered why is that? Really liked your analysis. Did you had any interaction with Pakistanis. One of my wifes cousin is married to à south indian . I asked her what is the cultural différence between you two? A very interesting and thought-provoking video. Stereo types are not always true, but substantially correct. Unrelenting invasions through the Hindu Kush have left a lasting impact on the northern areas and this could be the reason for the philosophy of live it up and live for today. Another reason in my view is relatively the Gangetic belt has always been more fertile and prosperous compared to the South, with wealth in the hands of landed gentry.
However, as to the effects of partition and population displacement, one does not see the see 'live it up' approach in migrants from erstwhile East Pakistan who have done well. I wonder why.
    Thanks for the video.

Although human psychology tends to show off that which it does not have in reality. Some folks take show off to another level like skipping meals to buy that designer shirt etc. Such attitude makes life very stressful and ill effects of this stress spill over covertly in other areas of life.

Both North & South Indians show off just in different ways. In south the richest show off through gold, property, assets & their dominance over people who worship them for their power. In North people show off by buying expensive cars, gadgets & trying too hard to seem less like an average Indian.
The most humble people(in terms of showing off assets) *were* the people from the Eastern zone(mostly Odisha, Bihar) & I'm stressing on the word 'were' bcuz at present times this is rapidly changing. People show off bcuz they are afraid of being looked down upon by others they want other privileged people to see them as their equals.
You can say South Indians are more humble in their general physical demeanor or verbally whereas North Indians seem more arrogant & haughty.
