I have a Nikon Z9, I just put this head down as a Christmas wish. Do you think it would work well with a camera as heavy as a Z9? I have an older Bowden Tripod and a very old and heavy Manfrotto fluid head. I do not use it because of the old quick release system, it is the 20 year old system. Manfrotto normally has one of the most solid plate to mount set-ups. I would hate to have my camera and lens fall to the ground. How good is the plate lock up on this head? Thank you for your video!
Nice presentation! This SmallRig DH10 looks too good to be true to me... I'm looking to buy it for some photo-video sessions but I have only one question: Can you use the SmallRig DH 10 head on a monopod (Ifootage Cobra-2 C180 as an example) ?? Thank you!
On its own no. Either you'd need to mount the camera on its side, using a cage or L-bracket. Or look at using a photography tripod which allows you to frame portrait.
Couldn't help but notice how you went in very hard emphasizing how *CHEAP* this tripod head is supposed to be. But how "cheap" could it possibly have been if you *_didn't. . . bother. . . to mention. . . the price???_* Not a good look at all.
this was the EXACT video i was looking for as an FX30 owner! Thank you for this!
Thank you for the upload. This helped me make a decision.

Thanks, you could as it’s a flat head. Just done another shoot with it in Dubai and as long as you have a light set up it’s great!
excuse my ignorance but do you know if the tripod is portrait friendly? nowadays i feel forced to film in portrait because of social media

can I use my A7iv and 100-400 lens on this just fine? I've got a newer carbon fiber tripod that I could stick this on.
I have the same question
I can't attach my Sony fx3 to my tripod help
How about putting an FX6 on that tripod
Probably pushing it. You could but it would need to be a light lens and no rigging
@@JonathanPalfrey but it says it can handle 10kg on their website. FX6 fully rigged with a heavy lens do not get that heavy.
Bro said really cheap
He also said “worth considering” But yes, it’s definitely not cheap - considering it’s only the tripod head
In the video tripod world it’s as cheap as you’d ever want to go. Other brands are $1k+
If I was to mention sachtler......then you'll understand , just how cheap this is
