What an elegantly wise man...I love his down to earth explanations of his experience, it makes it seem very "normal" in a sense...he explains it with such simplicity and humour, bless his soul ❤️

These TH-cam videos of Adyashanti have been such a profound blessing in my life. My spirituality was reawakened by Adya's wonderful teachings, and he became a gateway to spiritual teachers and poets from all around the world and all different time periods who yet resonate with the same truth as Adya. I am forever grateful 🙏

I’ve gone through it all: seeking, praying, fasting, insights, visions, etc. and I’m still here hoping for some final end or... But no, I wake up in the morning and, ugh, it’s cold, I’m old and poor. However, some new way has presented itself. That way is free of youthful stuff. This is a chance to experience compassion for those still struggling with ego, still sure that perfection is possible. So, young people have gathered around to tell me their accomplishments and regrets and pain. And I say, “Champion! You’ll be fine! and, Take a walk in Nature”! That’s what I do now.

I have been feeling like Adyashanti’s teaching are out of my reach, and maybe my insight is right. I’ve been focusing on Buddhist basics instead… the Noble eightfold path, and I just know if I keep at it I will meet in the middle to Being and there is just more to go forward. Nirvana is not an end point. Adya brings the depth to Buddhism for me as I set my foundation🙏🏼

What he is saying here (in this video) is useful for the time after the awakening. The Zen Buddhist call this moment "Satori", a moment which shows pure emptiness as kown awareness, where the mind is completely still for a short flash, why it can feel like an "ego/mind death" and can be very shocking because of the paradoxe for the mind. I needed 2 years for normal human processing and friends/teacher who are past that and talks like this one are like therapy. If you are on your way to this moment, a very fun part of the way where everything is new and makes you curious, words about paradoxe or duality and so on can wait. You are doing right to concentrate on your practice, what ever it is.

@@quantessenz thank you for expressing that sense of wonder and untouchable quality of satori, it made me smile. I’ve been grateful to see brief glimpses that have changed the course of my life, but like Adya says the gap between our human beings and Being can be so wide haha. I accept that my practice reflects my individual self. Which is to say.. a tool I’m sharpening in the shed lol. I also wish you all the clarity and peace on your path!

    I said to the wanting
    creature inside me:
    What is this river you
    want to cross? There
    are no travelers on
    the river-road, and
    no road. Do you see
    anyone moving about
    on that bank, or resting?
    There is no river at
    all, and no boat, and
    no boatman. There is
    no tow rope either,
and no one to pull it.
    There is no ground,
    no sky, no time, no
    bank, no ford! And
    there is no body, and
    no mind! Do you believe
    there is some place
    that will make the
    soul less thirsty?
    In that great absence
    you will find nothing.
    Be strong then, and
    enter into your own
    body; there you have
    a solid place for your
    feet. Think about it
    carefully! Don't go
    off somewhere else!
    Kabir says this: just
    throw away all thoughts
    of imaginary things,
    and stand firm in that
    which you are.
    Kabir ❤️

    Lovely...love it❤.
    Thx beauty❤
The em- body- ment can take many densities...many ways 2 feel about it and from my direct experience...what u call u...who wants 2 go out= just consciousness itself as well and also it always seeks or desire a rather harmonic home form experience...as one= all messed up . I mean ...u not buy a broken car and drive around with and are happy...that goes the same with this Maya mind. U not wanna experience a nightmare...its not in ur nature...therfore u wake up from and create a better dream...even u have 2 end the old one. Consciousness is not a sadist or masochist 2 itself= feels and senses and the drive is 2 harmony and not a insane idiot dream play...where some are happy and others sad . Consciousness is Love and harmony, beauty and peace and all awsome and it will radiate out all is not and driven by 2 much ignorance= transformation and its perfect so.
    Nightmares are just shiii***.

Even its not real real...though I tell u from the direct experience...as long u feel real in a dream...and the dream literally sucks...u will wake up and u will have the desire 2 dream it more...call it less as a nightmare...more harmonic...peaceful and heartful.
And when u are death death...well there is not even a dream or consciousness or awareness arising= true or whatever it creates...though as long there is a dream u try 2 keep it a nice one...4 all in ur apparent dream...cause u r harmony...peace and love= that simple.

I really don’t get how people comment a video about spirit rising up, realizing itself and after that rising down for living all live with difficulties and challenges just for commenting it with „ Realize yourself to be the Unborn without Knowledge, prior to the form and the formless, and be done with it all.“. He CLEARLY states, that you are NOT „done with it all“. The opposite, he talks about this being just the first step.
